Not a good beginning. Anthony's Pets has closed and moved out beside two more empty stores, then three jewelry stores face the Target rotunda. Continuing down the concourse I saw three more empty spaces and two closed stores. The concourse between Dick's and the Food Court has the most popular and largest stores, H&M, Torrid, Buckle, Old Navy, Build-A-Bear, and no empty stores. When looking at the existing photos on their Yelp listing, the kiosks in the concourses have decreased significantly and some of them were closed. But I saw more people shopping here than I see in the Greenwood Mall (before the two recent incidents in the news) so I think the Bloomington folks are supporting their local mall well. The Food Court seemed adequate with the usual choices including a new pizza restaurant, Azzip Pizza, located very near the actual court seating area. The restrooms were clean. I liked how the sinks were separated from the rest of the facilities by being in a room of their own. They also looked recently renovated with new tile on the floors and walls. No issues with parking as plenty of spaces were available.

This place was far and above my expectations and exactly what the article mentioned. I spoke to a gal that was extremely knowledgeable about the two brands (Hoka and Brooks) that I was interested in. I explained what I wanted/needed, she made a few recommendations. I made the selections and she brought out several pairs of each. She had me sit and actually put the shoes on my feet! Made sure they were the proper fit, laced them up and had me walk around the store. It was incredible, I was over the moon with the store/clerk and the shoes were epic. It has been 4 months and the shoes rocked the 5k and are now my daily shoes.

They are pretty flexible about post auction logistics, and don't mind helping load items as long as it's within reason. I think they are funneling equipment to one specific party and are actively keeping new users from elevating the price of the equipment. I would speculate someone connected to govdeals is buying a very high % of the valuable equipment and allowing the public to bid is a sham. I can think of no other reason to use such an old and terribly inefficient process. They need to find a REAL auctioneer or online auction process. Send everything there and close this store. This is what every other university in the state does and hopefully someone at IU will wake up soon. Close it or find a real leader. Preferably an honest one. To be fair I think I picked one of the more popular styles since the embroidery was one of the more subtle styles as opposed to the more loud or brashly decorated shirts. They did have a ton of various selections of t-shirts and sweatshirts plus all of the assorted accessories such as mugs, glasses and so forth. The cashier did go out of his way to look up in their computer system to double check my size of sweatshirt was indeed out of stock in the back and not just on the rack. I did pick up a IU National Championship can holder, a.k.a. Koosie, and some IU coasters for my truck cup holders which are great inventions as they absorb the dripping sweat from drink cups and cans.

Granted, I'm not running out buying appliances every other day, but if i were, I'd try to buy them here. Another reviewer mentions using Buy Now for appliances to help them flip houses affordably. I would totally use them for that! The biggest challenge is either having someone that can swap out your appliances or haul away your old ones. If you use a handyman service, it will cost a bit, but if you're buying something like a fridge, you'll still probably save a lot. They'll hold a purchased item for about a week. I've been shopping for a fridge for several months, resigned to paying an arm and a leg. Buy Now has close outs and scratch and dent appliances for MUCH LESS than new in a store. They're unboxed and ready to go! After much hemming and hawing, I settled on a GE. It was one of the few that didn't have the original packing inside. As I was lining up a handyman to help me get the old one out and the new one in, I got a call. They had tested it and found it did not work. A replacement part was ordered, but i was also given the option to choose a replacement. The guy I hired went to pick it up and it seems like he was in and out quickly. They had refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, and tons more. I'm definitely going back next time I need a new appliance!
