My wife has been talking about wanting a makeover for her bathroom (technically it's ours, but let's get real!) I thought I would stop in and see what they might have. Turns out this place designs kitchens and baths and actually had a few rooms set up to help those who need to see real spaces to get a feel for them. Although I think our bath is limited without major construction challenges, I will keep this place in mind since it is licensed and insured and the displays looked appealing. But what really occupied my time here was checking out their extensive supply of Big Green Eggs. Seriously, where I live, it takes less time to get to Ellettsville than it does to get to Sullivan's Hardware on the northeast side (and less traffic too!) One of the two owners of the business came out to greet me when I entered and we started chatting about these state of the art grilling stations. My friend swears by his egg, so I decided to check out what makes them different. Turns out the owner I dealt with has been competitively grilling for a long time and I was impressed that he took time to answer many questions, steer me towards some You Tube videos for ideas, and even mentioned Sullivan's annual cooking competition as a place to buy lightly used equipment at a nice savings to get started. He was SO Helpful! Although I didn't buy one on my visit, I would have no qualms about returning here when I decide to pull the trigger on a purchase. (These aren't cheap grills since they are molded ceramic containers and can weigh hundreds of pounds.) Decent shoe selection you can find good shoes there often but some are in poor condition and marked at 35$. Overall as a seller I would not recommend, go somewhere else. They said to leave the machine and they'd have the repairman take a look at it. They said it might be up to 2 weeks. But in just a few days they sent me a text/email saying my machine was ready. I picked it up the next day. Not only was the problem fixed but on the bill it said they had cleaned and oiled my machine. The charge the lady had quoted me was what I was charged and they had done the extra work of cleaning and oiling my machine also. Very nice people to do business with. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a repair on their machine. I used my machine just today and it sews like the wonderful machine it has been since I bought it in 1962. I found this concerning considering the store is a non-profit utilizing donations in order to accommodate the needy in the community. I found the conduct I observed disturbing. It literally breaks your heart to see less fortunate people treated in this manner especially from a facility that advertises it exists for the purpose of alleviating the suffering and financial hardship.
