But this was tempting, and I did get a Snap-Tite for Kid K. Leaning towards trains, but also plenty of car and plane and armor kits. Lots of Playmobil stuff. Other toys and collectibles. Reasonable prices considering. Good selection, friendly service. Small amount of parking out front, and I think (hope) the side lot is shared with the bike shop- easy to miss the pull-off from High. Not sure why I waited so long, but I'll be back sooner.

A second, larger train layout is located around the corner, where the Hocking Valley Model Railroad Club has a very nice set up. They have some good step stools available too, so those who need it can get a better look at all of the neat details and the trains. The store offers a wide variety of hobby models, including not only a good selection of train items, of course, but also planes, monster trucks, and even some neat animals and dinos. In the back are some glass display cases where they show off some completed models, which were neat to see too. There's a small parking lot to the side of the building.

He also mentioned that any of the employees are happy to talk tips and technique on all sorts of modelling after I mentioned that I had been away from the hobby for ages. It's not easy finding a place that openly welcoming and charismatic towards beginners, and it really sold me on wanting to come back.
