Long Review: I found a used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve at LOLV with over 100k on the…read moreodometer. The "Peaceful Price" was 4k lower than other '21 LGCLSR's on the market. With that said, she needed some work. The windshield had a few rock chips in it, and they replaced it for free. It had 12, yes, twelve small to medium dents in the hood and driver's door that needed to be addressed; (paintless dent repair $450) An (aluminum insert needed to be replaced $350). To be fair, the dealership took some cash off the top of the deal for the insert. I understood that downside. Now the bad part: less than a month and the check engine light comes on. I call the sales associate, and he connected me with the repair shop. In the end, the camshaft, and other engine components had went. All but the plugs were covered by the warranty. Total repair was over $4k all covered except the plugs and coils. The inspection report is email, and it says my front tires are almost gone: (I just brought the Jeep). So, that's another $500.00. The service dept. worked with me regarding the plugs and coils and I appreciate that. Sadly, while on the turnpike, I realize me hood was moving. THE TECH NEVER CLOSED AND SECURED THE HOOD. I WAS DOING 80 MPH ON THE PA TURNPIKE WITH AN UNSECURED HOOD!!!! When I closed on the purchase, everything was smooth as silk. I didn't have to leave the house, as they delivered her to the house and had everything prepared for me to sign. The sales associate does everything, so (THERE'S NO WAITING IN THE FINANCE MANAGER'S OFFICE)!!! Oh yeah, they gave me an exceptional deal on my '19 Ford Expedition Platinum. (My Expedition sold in less than two weeks). Lexus of Lehigh Valley is a great dealership and I will recommend them as a reputable dealership. Are they as good as Thompson Lexus? I think they rushed to put my Jeep on the lot, as I think Thompson would have caught that engine issue, and they would have fixed those dents prior to listing her. Everyone treated me well and with respect. I'll give them an 8/10.

They, apparently were having a promotion (one of those "you won a free big screen TV" postcard mailings ) and it was pretty chaotic. We were shown a handful of cars on the lot and then rushed into the cubicle to provide information for financing when we hadn't even settled on a vehicle, let alone a price! The second dealership, shiny and new in luzerne county was pleasant and very calming. The salesperson was very patient with my questions and kind. However, they took my trade for a drive and evaluated it but was stalling on proposing an offer. This turned me off. We need to know what the dealer is willing to pay for our vehicle to ensure we are able to get into a payment we can afford. The third dealership, the best dealership, was Outten Kia. As soon as I walked in, I was already stressed from previous experiences and not in the mood to get the run around or take any crap. Cue Adam to enter scene. What an all around fantastic guy. He immediately put me at ease and allowed me to step back and give him some information. He asked if we were looking for new or used and what we would like to have in our next vehicle. Once we discussed our wish list, Adam told us what he had on the lot that could fit our requests. We ended up with the vehicle we had hoped for at a fair price, keeping our payments comfortable enough that we won't have to worry about the repo man We only wish we hadnt wasted two full days of car shopping and had just gone to Outten Kia first. Had to send the car back a few times because they didn't clean it. 3 attempts and it seems like all they did was put tire shine on. They said it was detailed yet the gas lifts for the hatch were caked in grime. When I wiped it it came down like a waterfall. Caused me an extra hour wait time and it just seems that the people who do the cleaning of the cars don't take pride. Not sure if they are under staffed or if good help is hard to find. I just got a feeling if you buy a used car here you will end up cleaning the car the right way. YOURSELF.

After agreeing to the purchase but before paying I mentioned a small vibration when driving. They took the car in and balances the wheels for us. Before we picked it up they detailed it again. Had an issue with the second key, called and talked to them about it and they suggested contacting the manufacturer and Conestoga would cover any replacement needed. Ended up just being a mixup and they made it right but it was reassuring for them to say they would make it right with no hesitation. A+, great people and would deal with them again.

Don't get to do it everyday,but boy, such a review should carry some weight! After trying to negotiate on a used 2009 GTI at Autohaus, I found the identical car- with frighteningly identical mileage- for sale at Conestoga. A friend had spoken highly of Conestoga, so I went out to drive it with no reservations. Mel was fantastic in letting me take the car for a few test drives, including one to my mechanic, who gave the car an enthusiastic "thumbs up", with the comment that there are few dealers in Ephrata who he would be unafraid to purchase from, and Conestoga Motors was one of them. Two days later, the car is in my driveway. Throughout the process, Mel worked on me with a few minor issues. More importantly, Mel showed sincerity in standing behind his car, and I have no doubt that he will resolve any issues that crop up with it. As he told me, "we don't see ourselves as used car salesmen...we are men who have cars to sell". Yes. The price was extremely fair...much better than the cost of the evil twin at Autohaus by over $1500, and was a "great price" rating according to cargurus.com. I could see the sharks inside - eyeing me up. They were just waiting for me to stop so they could attack. I left. Cruising down Lancaster Avenue I saw John's Great Cars. I have heard their radio ads for a long time and drove onto the lot. Salesman Jim was in the lot and smiled and waved. He didn't rush us as most dealers do. He came over and asked what I was looking for and pointed our two options. I immediately loved the one. I asked for the lowest price and what they offered was fair and a great deal. Everyone in the process was laid back, honest and amazing. They couldn't have been nicer. John was outside washing cars. While the owner of a used car lot in Reading isn't on the same social strata as a king or president of a country it was nice to see that the owner was humble and a working man. I honestly had to sit on this rating for a month. Honestly, as soon as I left this dealership, I…read moretold my boyfriend who I went there with, "as soon as I buy a car, not from here, I need to write a review because I feel so frustrated." Number one. Because this car was a little out of the way for me, I called two weeks in advance to see if the car had smoke damage. The lady at the front desk called me as soon as I reached out (that's fine, that's your job), but I was very firm that I could not make an appointment that weekend because I was out of town. The lady told me, "our used cars sell very quickly so we recommend that you come in right away." The car had been on the lot for 78 days at this point and I was not worried, and when I told her that, she paused and goes, "Oh." I told her not to call me, and that I'd call when I was ready. She called me the next day. I finally made an appointment for July 5th. Now while we had a set time and date, not only was the person who we were supposed to test drive with late, when he finally arrived, he passed us off to someone else. That's totally fine, it's busy, but you guys knew about my test drive for a whole week before hand - in fact, your front desk called me several times. The test drive was chill. Nothing felt bad about the car. At the mileage it was at, my four months of in depth research (I've been test driving the same car type over and over) I knew that it was about 700$ over what I was willing to pay for a car in this condition and mileage. When we got back to discuss the car and purchase, I asked for the service records and results of the inspection. They brought me the carfax. That's great, but not what I was looking for. They go back and bring me the service records. I ask if they have records to see the condition of the wheels, because I notice that one of the tires are significantly more worn down than the other three. They go look for the documents and then say that oh, because it's Saturday, the shop is closed and we don't know where the documents are. Reminder, we show up Saturday, around 10 AM... and the shop is open from 8 AM to 4 PM. Excuse me? Also, this whole time, I don't know if this because the salesman was nervous (although he straight up said he had 16 years of experience) but he kept talking to my boyfriend and not me. It's not like he was responding when the salesman was asking questions/responding. Finally, talking about price, I asked if the price was negotiable, to which the salesman said yes, within reason. I give him a number. He gets the manager. The manager sits down and says, "The price is not changing, this is as low as it's going to get." Mind you, this car has been on the lot for over 80 days at this point. I say thank you, and we go to leave and the manager stands up, "If you like this car why don't you get it?" And honestly I don't know what I said, it was some bs excuse, but the vibes were so bad at this point and I had a headache. Just as the cherry on top, their front office called me two times after to ask why I didn't buy the car, and if I had bought another car. They finally stopped calling after I told them to call me when they were ready to offer me a better deal. And guess what? That bottom line price wasn't the bottom line price. The price dropped another 600$ two weeks after I left.
