There was one person working who was super nice and got our drinks and checked in on us but otherwise left us to play. I wasn't a huge fan of their board or the closeness of the targets but we adjusted and had fun playing. You only get to throw the hatchet here unfortunately so no other fun things to play around with. We kept score with their laminated scoreboard.

We opted to have an initial session and then be let loose. They even gave us dry erase boards to keep track of scores. We had a part of 11 and it didn't take too long but also didn't go by too fast to get through everyone. We showed up at 5:30, started throwing at 6pm and I think were done by 7:30 so we could get to dinner at 7:45. Overall it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun and we will DEFINITELY be back for more axe throwing!!!

First of all, I'm absolutely terrible at throwing axes. I think I've managed to get it stuck on or two times in my life even thought I've gone multiple times. The check in process here is quite easy. We filled out the waiver and then were walked to our spot. At our spot, they went through safety training and all the games. There's multiple games you can play if you're really good. We stuck with the originally one though. I kept thinking, oh gosh, this guy training us is going to be pissed cuz I'm never going to get it to stick on the board. Well, he ended the best trainer I've ever had! I actually got it to stick on the board more often than not!!!! Now I fully get the appeal of axe throwing. The nice thing about this place is that they also have food and drinks if you want. There's a full bar. I just got a stout beer which was delish. We only had about an hour so we didn't order food or anything but that also looked really good. There were some other groups in here throwing axes too. Definitely a bigger space, too, so if you have a birthday party or a large group, this would be such a fun activity to do. And again, staff is incredible and did such a good job taking care of us!

The staff was really nice and really helpful. We got one bay for 5 adults and that worked out pretty well. It was the first time a few of us had ever been axe throwing so we needed some guidance. The staff there helps you, shows you a few ways to throw and gives you some tips. They have several types of games on a tablet you can play. It's not interactive so you have to make sure you remember to score it and enter all that yourself. It's kind of expensive. It was $35pp per hour and then drinks on top. But they have darts, corn hole, shuffleboard and some dice table game that are all free. They have TVs and a bar. We will go back.

For my 1100th review, I am going to write about my amazing experience at Level One Bar+ Arcade!…read more I promised my brother a surprise during our trip to Columbus, OH if he passed his insurance agents license. He passed, so I took him to Level One Bar+ Arcade. I did it to have some brother bonding time. Its been years since either one of us had stepped into an arcade and really spent hours playing in one. Some of our fondest memories together occurred while playing video games and in video arcades. Thus, it was wonderful to relive those moments together and create new memories at another video arcade. Really cool place, ambience definitely is a cool classical arcade that just happens to have a bar inside. Tons of games here! You can find all the classics, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, etc. Talk about memories... i remember playing Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat at arcades when I was in grade school. I got go relive memories when I played X-Men the Arcade Game, a game I beat at an arcade when I was in middle school. The only disappointment was with Rampage. I jumped for joy when I saw it! I loved playing as either George, Ralph, or Lizzie as gigantic monsters devouring the worlds population and destroying cities when i was younger! Alas! It was not operable! My years away from playing video games showed my rusty skills. I used to be a beast in games, i did alright but man have my skills deteriorated since college. Again, we played for hours, and had a great time together. We did not spend a lot of money, all non-pinball games are free. We also did play some pinball games like The Walking Dead, and You Only Live Twice. Level One Bar+ Arcade made our last night in Columbus, a wonderful night. I definitely recommend coming here!
