I hate that my update is the only thing you see when you look at the review. That's absolutely stupid. There isn't much information here, just an addition to what I wrote in the review. So please, read the review first, then this. I was going to give a star back that I initially took away for the owners not caring. Since the owner saw my review and contacted me, I guess they care. But 2 stars really just encompasses my underwhelmed feeling about the place. If it wasn't for the Fungym and my son, I wouldn't go back. I have gone back since my first visit. I didn't try any other food. But we did play golf again. It was after a rain storm so we knew it would be wet. But half of the 9 holes we played were flooded. A couple of them we couldn't even play. The ones we did, the water added an extra hazard to make the game a little harder. I'm not faulting the ownership for the course being fooded, but they should've inspected the course to make sure it was playable before they took my money to go out and play it. I can't believe it's never flooded before, this wasn't the storm of the century. It has to be happening often after it rains. I didn't ask for my money back because I was sure I wouldn't get it. The last time we golfed there, we paid for 18 holes. But we went the wrong way and played the 9 hole by mistake. So when our balls didn't come back after the 9th hole, we couldn't finish playing. It was just too hot on that unshaded oven of a course so we asked for half our money back or a voucher to finish the 9 holes we didn't finish on another day. All we got was new balls to go out and finish playing. It's totally our fault we didn't see the sign and followed the wrong arrows. You can debate this one but I think the fair thing to do would've been to let us finish another day. If I buy 18 eggs, but only get 9, I shouldn't have to lose the rest because I don't eat them that day. Then, as I mentioned, the next time we played golf half the holes were flooded out and we couldn't play all of them. We're batting .000 with our golf experiences here so far. $16 is a lot of money for a quickie round of golf and play time in the Fungym. I don't really think it's worth the price, even in good weather. To me, it would have to be a pretty amazing golf course experience to be worth that. This isn't necessarily anything against Galaxy, just to me, it's a bit overpriced. That $16 isn't even including food, drinks or arcade tokens. You can drop a lot of money in here and you really aren't getting a great experience for it. I can think of better ways to spend that much money. If I ever do try the food again and it's better, or I ever have a decent experience on the golf course, I might change the rating. As it is, I feel like both times I played golf I didn't get what I paid for and I paid too much. If you're interested, these are the suggestions I had for Galaxy that would make it a much better place. I think a course redesign would be a big help too but I didn't mention that. We met some friends here and had a really great time! Our visit was during the winter so we could only do the indoor activities. I was pretty impressed! For 25 dollars we got a pitcher of pop, a pizza, 2 wrist bands for the play area and tokens (I think 15). The pizza was not too shabby. I think next time we will order something more snack sized since our little one was too distracted to eat. There was very limited seating for eating. We had to wait for a table to free up. The food also took forever to come out. It was a pretty busy Saturday so it wasn't a big deal. The arcade was small but it was enough to entertain the kids. They play area is huge! I actually went up in there while chasing my kiddo. They should make these for adults. That was a workout! There is a separate area for younger kids/babies too. You can also do the play area only for under $10 a kid. That's a steal! Since the kids loved this place so much and it was a good deal we will definitely be back! read more

As the proud aunt of 3 children on the autism spectrum, I find it disgusting that you would take away an accommodation that was already being granted to this child, for no reason. You say that it breaks a rule, but he's been coming there for over a year. Is this a new rule? You offering to open early so he could play alone is cruel. These children get excluded from things so often. This is a way for him to play with other children. You've taken that away from him, and it's inexcusable. What a great place for kids! (Who am I kidding?! I loved it too!) I went to a child's party here and found myself getting caught up in the fun myself! The place itself seems to be quite old (and semi- run down) but it has that down-home neighborhoody atmosphere to it which I found to be more charming than a put off. It also has that family-run feel to it which I love. It is kid-heaven inside with 3500 square feet of an indoor play area, an outdoor 18-hole miniature golf course and an arcade. There are 3 (if I remember correctly) separate rooms in which you can hold your party away from the general public and you are allowed to decorate them. The prices for the parties are pretty reasonable and as a parent you will be required to do very little work to ensure it is a success. Oh well; some things will never change. Galaxy Games and Golf was one of the first places that I came to when I blew into town. Its the place where I met my girlfriend, entertainingly enough. Its where I was able to drop out of things, and just have a good time. And can you think of a better short-game builder than putting through caves, avoiding a water hazard the easy way, and putting into hard-to-find holes that lead to passageways into other places? I thought not! What I love about Galaxy Golf and Games is the fact that golf is rather cheap ($4.95 for a round of Golf), and the golf courses offer challenges for the novice and advanced players alike. There are a multitude of terrains to play with, including one hole that's inside an artificial cave! Also, if you play the set of holes that has the pond towards the end, please don't overswing and send your golf ball into the water. I did that by accident...which resulted in me keeping score for the rest of the match between us. Because we went late in the summer night, there wasn't much else left for us to try out while we were there. But it looked like a full-service amusement park, complete with a "FunGym" (whatever that is -- it looked fun, at least), and a full arcade. I would like to come back in the daytime...and be the only 24 year old playing games with the kids there. I would love to give Galaxy Games and Golf a higher rank...but some of their facilities leave something to be desired. For instance, I'm sure it was completely unintentional to have a standing water hazard in the cave hole. While it was a fun challenge to splash out of it, I think it could have been better planned. Will I go back to Galaxy? Absolutely! Even though its on the border of Hilliard (and all my close friends know how I feel about Hilliard), I love playing miniature golf, and its somewhere that I'd like to go again and again. The scenery and the challenging holes have a lot to do with the experience of mini golf, but it's even better when you're with a group of people who can have fun and not take the game seriously. I mean, how professional can you really try to be at a game called "mini" golf? We certainly had a lot of fun, especially watching one of the guys who's about 6'3" playing with a kiddie sized putter just for the heck of it. I also appreciated that the golf course was cheap, cheaper even than Magic Mountain. The location is another thing. There were a couple of points where I was curious if anyone had ever hit the ball out onto the highway down below. In fact, I was tempted to do that myself. But, being a driver myself, I certainly wouldn't want that to happen! Galaxy Golf may not be the prettiest, but I still had a lot of fun. read more

One of my son's favorite places to visit. They are affordable and fun for the whole family. Unfortunately we have never had the opportunity to play golf here, but the inside jungle gym and game area are sufficient. Sure the place could use a little upgrading and the games are broken from time to time but overall that is to be expected at a kid's fun place. I remember some of these arcade games from when I was a child. This place can get a little crowded but they have plenty of seating. I like to go and let my son run around for a couple of hours then we play a few games. They are also great for birthday parties. My son has had two of his 6 birthdays here. And again I cannot stress how affordable this place is. Sure you could go to Chuckee Cheese or Magic Mountain but Galaxy Games & Golf gives you that nostalgic feel that these commercial places can't! My only complaint would be that the staff needs to be a little more strict and attentive in the jungle gym area. I witnessed several kids going through the gym without shoes or socks on. I also witnessed several kids going through the gym with shoes on. My daughter is two and loved this place! The play area is huge and perfect to wear out your kids for a couple of hours. The place looks a little worn down but honestly you pay a whole $3 per kid for unlimited play time. I think we can deal. I would definitely recommend this place to kill a rainy day or long winter. I will say this place probably would be boring for kids that are 10+ unless you're visiting the putt-putt area which is decent sized. The employees seemed like typical high school or college kids so don't expect crazy high quality service but makes for entertainment for the parents. Galaxy is the perfect place to take the kids for a fun filled family night! The fungym is only $5 ($2.99 for toddlers) and the play time is unlimited! They have 2 golf courses, the shorter course has large ceramic animals which makes it perfect for kids and the longer course is great for kids and adults alike! The arcade has a good variety of games with classics like skeeball and air hockey and they even have some little rides for little kids. The pizza was good and served shortly after ordering! This was one of the best-maintained miniature golf courses I've been on. If they recently laid out greens, it shows. If they didn't, then even better, because it looks like they did. The 18-hole course is very attractive. The landscaping, the vegetation, the fact that one of the holes is inside a cave with no signs of vandalism (seriously, that cave must be a magnet for graffiti artists, yet I saw not a shred of evidence of that) all show great attention to maintenance. It pays off; it was lovely to play this course. Despite the gorgeous landscaping, there isn't much originality in most of the holes. Some have the kinds of special features that give mini golf its draw, like multiple levels and clever barriers, and there is of course the one in the cave. But most were fairly straightforward and even yawnie. The staff were very kind. The young man who helped us gave us a Tuesday deal that shouldn't have even applied to us. That is, we were two adults playing the 18-hole course; he gave us the discount that should have applied if we were on the 9-hole family course. We didn't ask for that -- he just said he was ringing us up that way. As a result, we had an afternoon of putting for just under $10 combined. The big downside of this location for adults there without children is that the indoor noise and kids' craziness levels are difficult to suffer. My mom and I usually wrap up our mini golf with a couple rounds of air hockey, if the location has a table. Galaxy does have one in its arcade, but there was something about the layout inside the building overall that made me not want to be in there for longer than necessary. It's hard to put a finger on why or how, but it seemed like the running, shrieking rapscallions were a bit overwhelming. We pushed through the mobs of thigh-high rugrats to escape as soon as we finished with golf. Nice place for golf, but if you're not entertaining young'uns, you probably won't want to linger inside for long. read more

This place has been here since I was in HS. There have been some updates and some things that been left to the ravage of time. Pro: -Fair pieces -Great hours, open late! -Friendly staff (When the air hockey table was missing the puck, they were there right away to retrieve the puck!) -mosquitoes were not even a concern -Nice break from the usual Con: -There could be better lighting in some the putt areas (holes), especially if you putt late (in the dark). Some areas are not lit at all and we had use our phone flash lights just to see. Suggestion: Maybe add a 21 and up only nights, those are very poplar at the Zoo, Roller Rink and Cosi. read more

Beyond angry I have came her over 10 times and come to play in the arcade and the fun gym. Every single time I've come here, majority of their games are broken. Well months later my 2 children and I come on a Saturday night and I spend a good 60$. I go play a few games and notice every single one of my favorite arcade games are broken. I start to wall around and search for a game that's not broken but that's hard to do since literally 6 out of 20 games are not marked out of order. And out of those six 2 are rides and 2 are broken and just not marked. So I waste 60$ for 2 bs games that give you 1 ticket each token and aren't fun at all to play! So disappoibted and upset. I def. The two start rating for Yelp states "Meh, I've experienced better." That's how I feel, but in fairness, my nieces and nephew had a blast. We bought a package for about $25 that included pizza, pop, 2 admissions, and some tokens. I felt this was a great value. My nieces spent most of their time in the climbing area. By looking at it, I think I would have enjoyed it as a kid. My nephew liked the arcade the most. Many of the games are dated, but are still of the variety you'd find at most of these entertainment places. He loved one of the racing games (though, try to explain to a five year old that you don't get tickets out of those types of games). The weather was a little on the cold side, so we didn't golf. I felt the pizza was fine. The staff seemed friendly enough. If my nieces and nephews (ages 5, 4, 2,) were able to read this review, they would probably give it 5 stars as they had a lot of fun. read more

Went with my three year old and we only played on the indoor fun park. It was very fun for her. There were some older kids running around but she was fine. There is the risk of a rambunctious group of older kids so it may not be as great for the small ones at those times. The good thing is adults can go in so if you need to "save" a little one you can do so fairly easily. I have never ever been to a place where I felt so unimportant in my life. I live in California and came to visit this place with my 5 kids. My kids were bored so I took them to the closest thing around my parent's home. My 6 year old broke her finger coming down from one of the rides. As a parent your world stops at this time and only thing that matters is to make your kid feel better. I called one of the workers and asked for ice and also to write an incident report so I can take it to her school/doctor. The workers there were not helpful at all and I couldn't even get ice for my daughter. I was there with a daughter with a broken finger and workers that didn't even care to help. I took my 1-year-old son to play at Galaxy today, and we had a great time! There was plenty to do, lots of supervision, the kids were all very well behaved, and everyone seemed to be having a ball. The prices are completely reasonable (cheap, even!) and the two staff members I spoke to were incredibly friendly and helpful. I plan on going back for sure, and I am positive once my son is a little bit older, we will be having birthday parties there! My only complaint is that it's a little bit of a drive for me, but based on what is closer to my home, it is totally worth the drive! read more

I was with two children who had been to the gym area once or twice before. However I would personally never take any kid back there. I know they expect parents/gaurdians to take responsibility for the kids they are with, but they had a group of 20+ kids there with only 2 adults to supervise (from Rainbow Child Care, Too! according to their shirts). The kids were disrespectful and rude to all the other kids there who were trying to follow the rules, and it was obvious that the adults they were with were doing nothing about it, but neither were the staff at Galaxy. I mentioned something to 2 different staff members and was shrugged off both times. They should really care about all their customers, and in my experience they obviously don't! read more

I took my one year old and 2 1/2 year old to play in the fun room, which was like a huge mcdonalds playhouse. Play cafés I. Columbus are running $5-$10/kid to play and galaxy games was $3/kid. So I felt like this was a really good value for the time my kids played. I was impressed by he amount of stuff even my crawler could do and play with. We went in the morning on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded. We ate lunch too, and the food was fine, if not particularly healthy. I would like it if you could bring your own snacks! read more

Great place for kids! I recently took my son there with a friend and we all had a blast. The staff was very kind and everything was reasonably priced. We decided to have lunch there and to my surprise, the pizza was awesome!. I wasn't expecting much from a place like this but I asked about it and they said they get their crusts from a bakery and make the pizza there. After reading some of the reviews, I would have to say that some of the more lengthy reviewers must have too much time on their hands! I have been taking my grandchildren to Galaxy for several years and everything has always been great. We've played in the Fungym and played video games and played golf and never have had a complaint. Their new 9 hole animal course is really cool and educational; there are big fiberglass animals on each hole with a sign listing facts about that animal! read more
