Great news Colin's Coffee fans, the shop reopened inside of the Upper Arlington Daily Growler. The shop serves coffee until 12 PM each day. The new location lacks some of the character of the Golden Bear shop, but makes up for it with a bigger interior and more seating. There is plenty of parking in the new location. I ordered the Buckeye Madness Mocha. The drink was quickly prepared. I opted for white mocha in place of the traditional mocha. The white chocolate flavor was great. I am excited Colin's is back in business and I will be a frequent customer.

Delicious coffee at a reasonable price and easy order ahead available! I've been getting the honey lavender iced latte and absolutely loving it. Coffee is made by Colin himself and he's so nice and welcoming. Coffee is only to go at the moment, but can't wait for the inside to open up because it looks so cozy.

Was really excited to try the McRoy breakfast bagel (bacon, egg, cheese on an everything bagel) since everyone seems to rave about it. It hit the spot, so I'd definitely get it again. I like that Colin cut it in half which made eating it much easier. Also got the Golden Bear coffee which had vanilla and honey in it. It had good flavor, but was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I'll know to ask for a smaller pump of syrup but I also wouldn't mind trying other coffees either. Service was fast, although the barista guy didn't notice my order and was quick to socialize with the lady taking orders at the cash register and an apparent regular customer. After waiting a couple minutes, I had to interrupt him to ask if he received my order. He looked down and immediately noticed the cup sitting right there in front of him. He was quick to make it and as he handed me the coffee, he made a weird comment like "sorry you had to wait, I'd give you a free cookie but we don't have any right now." It was a little off putting because I was polite the whole time, but that comment made it seem as if I had given him vibes that I was annoyed and expected some sort of compensation. Regardless, would come back to try other coffees and hopefully have a better interaction with the staff next time. Perhaps the masks play some role, as he probably couldn't see me smiling or follow other facial cues to help him understand I wasn't offended for having to wait an extra minute or two.

Highly highly recommend!! Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere and great customer service!! Definitely a hole in the wall coffee shop I wish we found sooner. Has a local following and lots of loyal customers and I totally see why!! So sad to see them closing.

Today was my first time trying Colin's Coffee and I really enjoyed it. The employees were very welcoming and helped me figure out what I wanted since it was my first time. I got an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee is good but the sandwich was amazing! I'll definitely be coming back and taking advantage of the text ahead ordering

It was very dirty inside, and my bagel had mold on it. I like that it's a small business too, but so what if it's not well run.

I hadn't been in the area for a while so I went to Yelp to see if there were any newer options for me to check out. That's when I found Bitty & Beau's and headed straight over. When I arrived I learned that this spot is a coffee shop, self described as a shop, "where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace." Their website shares that they employ over 450 individuals with disabilities nationwide. That is when I realized that Bitty & Beau's was actually a chain establishment with 10+ locations spanning from the Midwest and East Coast down to Florida and even Texas. I'm not big on chains, but this is one I can get behind. Very cool. A few things to note... It's located in a shopping complex, which means there's plenty of parking and other businesses like restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The interior is really dark and moody. That's not usually the atmosphere I look for when I'm going to work, meet someone, or hang out for a while. That said, I was able to find a table to prop up for a while. I had trouble with the wifi while I was there and didn't end up staying as long as I had planned because I really needed it. The staff was great! Super friendly, answered questions about their seasonal offerings, and all of that. We even got serenaded by a worker (All Star by Smash Mouth) and I couldn't help but join it. I'll also add that my seasonal lavender latte with oatmilk was $10 which baffled me. However, I did think it was cute that instead of a number to listen for when your order is ready, they would give you a playing card. Mine was the 10 of diamonds and it was ready rather swiftly.

I am always glad to have another local coffee shop to visit. Bitty & Beau's originally started in…read moreNC and has expanded to 11 states in the last ten years. The shop is recently opened in Columbus and they strive to provide employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities (their words). The shop itself has a fun, friendly vibe and a nice amount of seating. It was very clean and they have a selection of B & B merch for sale. On to the coffee! The iced vanilla latte was enjoyable. I would have preferred more vanilla flavor, but it was nice and cold with plenty of ice. In addition to coffee, they have a small selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches.

I especially enjoyed their traditional breakfast and French toast. Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and perfectly done -- exactly what you want from a great breakfast spot. I also liked how easy and relaxed the setup is: you order at the counter, find a seat, and your food is brought right out to you. It makes the whole experience feel casual and stress-free. Service was great too -- friendly, smooth, and welcoming. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

I discovered this spot while doomscrolling on Instagram and suggested to a coworker that we pay them a visit during an upcoming coworking day. It was an easy sell and we made our way there on a rainy Friday afternoon. The moment I walked through the door the vibrant shades of blue and pink brightened my mood and I knew we made the right choice. Their menu is really fun... literally it says, "Super Fun Coffee" on it. I'm a sucker for a good seasonal creation so I went with the "Buy Myself Flowers" with oat milk. It has an elderflower, lavender, jasmine syrup in it along with lemon and orange blossom. The floral notes certainly shined through. Not subtle either, but not too in your face. I also ordered a baklava pastry sticky bun kind of thing and oh wow, it was amazing. Honey and pistachio goodness out the wazoo. The coffee and pastry together were seriously magical. A few extra things to note... parking is available in the very back of the building. While the space is on the smaller side, they do open up Natalie's space for extra seating. They close at 2pm only to later open back up as a bar. I did have issues with the wifi while I was there and ended up needing to use my hotspot. Not a deal breaker but good to know if you're planning on bringing your laptop. Lastly, the staff were super sweet, gave recommendations, and brought your coffee to your table, which is always a lovely touch. I'll be back!

Royal Flamingo is tucked away in Natalie's Pizza and there is plenty of parking in the back. The decorations are so cute, especially as a flamingo lover. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but the line moved quickly enough and they had extra seating in Natalie's (not as cute as in royal flamingo lol but I appreciate that there was plenty of seating!). I ordered the seasonal Buy Myself Flowers latte and a mushroom and leek pastry. The latte was delicious, and the syrup was the perfect amount of floral and sweet. The flowers on top were also super cute! The pastry was also delicious and I believe they are all sourced from Three Bites Bakery! It is a little pricey, but super fun for a weekend splurge.

The Ham and cheese pastry could use more ham and cheese. For the price, I expected more. Overall they were good and might be a nice treat for an office but I'm not sure I found the value in them overall. As for service, i stood at the cake counter for quite some time. I could see people working behind the glass but no one made an effort to have someone come help me. I almost walked away a couple of times. Service wasn't very attentive or urgent to help. Personally, I need more than just a pretty looking pastry. Service and taste count.
