I was surprised by the amount of food they have (chicken and waffles!) so I'll try something else next time. There was plenty of indoor seating and the vibes were relaxed and welcoming.

Unfortunately, I ordered online or else I would have absolutely bought half of what was in the display case. It all looks amaaaazing! The place was certainly cozy inside with some seating in front and along the side walls and the cashier there was quite pleasant. The chicken shawarma itself was pretty good. Good flavor, though a little bit messy after the first few bites when the juices start leaking out all over the place. It certainly leaved a lot to be desired just tossed into a styrofoam box without being in a wrap or something like shawarma oftentimes comes in. The spicy sauce on the side was also quite good but kind of overpowered the shawarma itself. It also came with a side of Lay's salt and vinegar chips. Really not a fan of said chips and seems like an opportunity to maybe do something more in line with the cuisine to me. Overall, the food was solid but not necessarily mind-blowing from an appearance or functionality perspective. I'd definitely love to come back to get some of those desserts some other time though!

The wrap tasted fantastic! The only thing I would have wished that they didn't cut the wrap up into smaller bites. It made it messy to eat where I would have rather just held the wrap. I also ordered a slice of the lotus cheesecake but they gave me the lotus cake. Even though it wasn't what I ordered, the cake had great flavor. The gentlemen working were very friendly. They have seating inside and there were a couple of patrons working on computers and chatting with friends. I ordered my food to go. This is a great little spot.

I also liked how easy and relaxed the setup is: you order at the counter, find a seat, and your food is brought right out to you. It makes the whole experience feel casual and stress-free. [Out-of-Towner Review]…read more You'd be surprised how hard it can be to find cool, local coffee shops while traveling for business (a lot)--thankfully Yelp & Eater exist. WOM is priceless though. Maps took me across the street, but it was easy to remedy. It is a very nondescript storefront, near offices/businesses. Bonus is that it has tons of parking in the back. I think I may have come access this spot on TT, because I remember one that showed a coffee spot inside of a music venue (and restaurant apparently), which is Natalie's Grandview. They also have a cocktail bar, like it Like That' too! They literally have everything in here! They DO NOT sell soy milk I opted for an iced oat milk latte and snagged an Ube Pandesal, which had cheese filling. I absolutely adore the cups here, the latte was great too. I always have to remind myself what pandesal is as I eat it. I did enjoy it though. The staff was definitely not the warmest at all, but they were working hard. I loved the packaging of their beans for sale and the overall eclectic vibe and decor. I can see why it stays busy. And I'm smitten with their motto, "Serious coffee for unserious people." On my most recent visit this month there was a noticeable shift in food quality and service. Our server was new to the team so I give him grace as he ramps up his learning curve. Other issues came from the kitchen. I learned that the tea house is under new management so hopefully they can get up to speed. Issues included: 1)about 45 mins to get our tea. Scones arrived and were eaten before the first drop of tea arrived at our table. Despite being ordered at same time. 2)the orange chicken salad is now shredded instead of ground. It was the unique ground up texture that I loved. I really don't even like chicken salad lol but the old recipe was much better than the new. 3)the carrot salad was basically just carrots with a dollop of dressing in bottom of the cup. The carrots had no dressing on them at all. 4) sausage quiche went half eaten by those who ordered at our table. These may seem like small things but when coupled with multiple requests for water, tea, and waving down the waiter for service it made for a very frustrating visit at what was previously my favorite little restaurant in Columbus. Fortunately the atmosphere is still lovely and the scones, cream and jam were on point.
