We've recently switched to this hospital within the last year for his check ups and vaccinations. Over the past few weeks we've had to bring him due to anxiety and ear infection. I have had issues with finding a good vet's office so based on their Yelp reviews I called Cole at Legends Ranch. Part of my problem is that I have a Great Dane, a little over a year old (and I'm embarrassed to say), that I have not socially acclimated well. I called the clinic ahead of time and asked about their waiting room area because this had been an issue with my last vet's office. I explained my circumstances and they said call us in the parking lot when you arrive and we will let you know when a room is open so you can take him right in. I arrived 15 minutes early and they did just as they had promised. The wait to see the vet tech was a little long but she apologized and said they had an emergency that morning so they were running behind. I can understand and appreciate that. The tech advised me of the packages and what was recommended but not necessary and even waited while I called my boarding facility to see what they required for his future stays. They took Brutus into the back to weigh him and a few minutes after asked me to come back to help get him on the scales. I managed to coax the front half of him on and 2 of the vet techs helped "load" the back end of him on. He was 156.6 lbs so it was no small feat and I appreciated the two ladies' efforts. Dr. Martin was great. Super patient with administering the vaccinations and advising me on my puppy's care. I had asked for my boy's nails to be dremmeled. Here's where they really showed that they care about my business and taking care of my pet. Brutus wiggled, squirmed, turned over a chair and did everything he could to get away from the three of us and having his nails trimmed. After about 10 minutes we finally got him calmed down enough to basically accept his fate. lol If you care about good customer service and making sure your pet is in the right hands I highly recommend this vet clinic. They have won my business after a year's search. read more

You had better open your wallet real wide when you walk through the door! Over $500 for blood sample and urine sample and couldn't even get the result for at least two days. You would think that they would be in the business of loving animals...Als wanted me to get a teeth cleaning for $600+ dollars. Who can afford this?? My neighbor had to literally watch his dog die because they wanted to charge him over $2,000 to treat him...These people only care about how much money they can get out of you and couldn't care less about your pet! read more

Since the beginning, Cole's has taken great care of our Ferdinand. They are so loving to him and he is always excited to see them. We recently moved an hour away and we thought about switching doctors to someone in our area. Fast forward to today...Ferdinand woke up with a swollen face. I called the vets in our area and they told us they would call us back to see if they could fit us in. I called Cole's, although an hour away, they were able to get Ferdinand in and take care of him almost immediately due to the emergency. We are thankful they were able to get him in and take care of him. They are great with explaining everything and following up! read more

This clinic is amazing. I will only bring my Charlie here cause I trust them and I don't trust easily. They give outstanding care to my Charlie . Everyone is sweet & caring and polite. even when I order my prescription medication on Petco and they contact the clinic they get to it right away so my Charlie never has to wait for his flea pill or his veterinarian prescription dog food. They even let me know about things I didn't know like the new shot for preventative heart worms that last a year so I don't have to continuously give him a pill every month. if you want outstanding care for your fur babies I suggest taking them here. They also let you know by email when they are due for shots. what can I say I love this place read more

We absolutely loved our experience here! Yes it's expensive, but we wanted the best for our little Tiggy ! She had such bad knots, and being older and overweight (and an adult adoptee with traumatic reactions to any place new) we decided to get her groomed by an actual vet. He was real with us about her weight and although some may see that as rude, he is a doctor. They don't just tell you what you would like to hear! She was sedated (at our request so she didn't have a heart attack) and groomed and returned so happy that she had no knots! About to make another appointment. Plus the staff is just great! read more

Brought our sweet cat that we had since he was a kitten..now 14 into Cole Vet because of sudden weight loss. Dr Katie Kurr examined him and took blood on a Saturday and called with results on Monday..left voice message saying he was fine with slight infection.. said we needed to bring him back for a shot of antibiotics ..no explanation for weight loss and now here's an infection with no explanation as to why this was happening and no request for any follow up visit other than the shot. We brought him back, got his shot and never heard another word from anyone. I decided to try and figure out what caused the weight loss since they certainly were not concerned. I thought perhaps it was a tooth issue, which I had discussed with Dr. Kurr at the initial visit though she didn't seem to think that was important but I was so worried why he wasn't eating. After seeing their BASE cost was 600.00 if the teeth needed a lot of cleaning I asked for friends recommendation looking for a more reasonably priced but very reliable vet Which is how I found Angel's Pet Hospital at 24734 Kuykendahl that were literally a 1/3 of the price. Long story short Dr Ashley Marchese called me since due to covid I could only drop our boy off in his crate at the door and leave a copy of his blood work from Cole Vet, having set up an appt to have his teeth cleaned. She called and asked me to tell her about our baby, which I did, then she asked if she could take exrays, which of course I gave her permission...a few moments later our hearts would be broken by the news we received. Our boy was battling cancer. We were in total shock since just three weeks earlier we had been told HE WAS FINE!!!! REALLY? I love this vet and this facility so much. Dr. Marchese could easily have done the teeth cleaning, which of course the teeth we know now was not the issue, and charged us and sent him back home like Dr Kurr did leaving us with the false belief "he was fine " They were so kind and caring and helpful connecting us to an oncologist.. After I composed myself I called Coles to inform them how angry I was at the horrible care we received..Zero compassion or concern for the weight loss or what caused an infection, but they sure had no issue charging the BIG BUCKS! I received a call back from Dr Cole..Seriously, THE ONLY THING Dr Cole offered as " AN EXCUSE" was, and I quote, " It was a Learning Experience for Dr. KURR." Well I can't tell you how thrilled we were to find Dr Kurr got a Vet 101 learning experience at our sweet boys expense. We all know months, weeks even days are critical when dealing with cancer depending on how fast a tumor grows and what type you are dealing with. We NEVER DID hear one word from Dr. KURR. I highly suggest IF you Really love your pet do NOT take your fur baby to Coles .obviously it's playing roulette with your babies very life. Remember they said our boy was fine with no follow up requested or suggested. And 5 minutes, and at their own initiative ANGEL'S PET HOSPITAL was able to PROPERLY diagnosis our boy and offer actual life saving help! CONVENIENCE is not always the best choice if Coles is close to you.. read more

Not a fan. Staff isn't very pleasant and lacks a sense of humor. So serious. Anyways had a bad experience with my Yorkie and a Dr trying to collect a urine sample. I'm not a fan of the sterile extraction. (Yes I know it's the most accurate) how ever prefer to do it when slightly sedated during teeth or what ever else. At least let me know or stop when my dog is screaming. I had to go back and tell them enough. They pricked her 3 times. She was dry, she had just urinated. Ask first, or at the very least Ultrasound plz. I felt there's a lack of compassion here and clearly communication. read more

This was, by far, the best vet I have ever been to. My first time there blew me away. Jeremy handled my dog with so much care and respect. He listened empathetically and took the time to offer guidance and tips and tricks. I have a German Shepherd and a previous bad experience elsewhere left me scared to take her in to a new place. We just recently got a puppy and brought her here. We enjoyed our first visit. The staff is very sweet, and informative. A week or so later we had to get an emergency appointment, nearing the end of the day, and they made sure to work us in to check our little girl out, before they closed. Highly recommend. Well we found a hole wound in our new puppies neck that we needed a vet to clean and stitch up. Cole was highly reviewed on yelp so we gave them a call. It was 11:50 and yes they close 12:00 but we figured no issues they would see us because our puppy has a hole in his neck. Well the receptionist that took the phone call was extremely rude and made us feel like that by bringing in our puppy for care was putting her out. I'm sure they are a great veterinary service clinic but this was a terrible customer experience and we will not use them ever just because of this one incident. read more

This was my first visit here with my dog and I had a great experience. They are a little pricey with a office fee of $57, culture for $200 and additional services but I have taken my dog to two different vets on four separate occasions and in addition an emergency visit for a chronic ear infection caused by allergies. The emergency vet is actually the one to refer me and I'm very happy so far. I saw Dr. Cole who knew the breed and understood the steps to take and provided detail explanation to me and was considerate of cost. I greatly appreciate the time he took to explain everything and to lay out a plan of action to resolve this on going issue. The only cons I experienced is the office was very, very busy! It was 9am on a Tuesday and the office was crowded and a little stressful waiting in the front with so many pets. I also would have preferred a little more sensitivity towards my dog because he was in pain. That being said they were caring and I know my dog had to experience a little pain to resolve the issue but maybe offer a way to make it easier for my pup? I would have paid extra for him to not be in pain from the ear cleaning with how raw his skin was. read more

The best veterinary hospital ever! The doctors are top notch!! My little doggie has bad anxiety but Jeremy at Cole vet helped my little guy feel relaxed and comfortable when we went in for a checkup. Their clinic is also very clean and smells like a day spa. Very calm environment for pets that might not like going to the vet. read more

On Sat. morning Feb. 8th I realized my old lab was at the end of her life. My vet clinic was 50 miles away. I called Cole Vet clinic and the receptionist told me to bring her in and they would work her in. It was a sad day for my family but the exceptional care we received will never be forgotten. I brought my dog in for a recheck of bloodwork after being bit by a copperhead over the weekend. I was put in a room and the technician spoke to me about what had happened and received all the information about the copperhead bite. She told me she would take my dog in the back to have the exam done by the vet. I questioned why the vet could not do the exam in front of me and she said that was their covid protocol. After the "exam" in the back the vet comes in and the first words out of her mouth are "are you planning to spay her?" If a proper exam was done she would see that my dog just got spayed 2 weeks ago because there is still a mark and she was shaved. The reason I was there was for some bloodwork to be done and their concern was how to get more money out of me. I left paying over $200 for bloodwork and an exam that was not done. The next day I got a call from the receptionist stating that the bloodwork was all normal. I requested the results be emailed to me. After reviewing for myself, the results were not normal. My dog was still recovering and her bloodwork had not completely returned to normal and I should have been explained that by the veterinarian. I don't feel this veterinarian had done her job very well and I will not be returning. If you are looking to get what you pay for, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I'm so glad I was recommended to come to this vet. I'm a first time dog mom and very overprotective of my puppy. My puppy Luna is very anxious and scared of almost anything so we took some time bringing her in to a vet because this is such a scary process for dogs. Everyone was so amazing and patient with our dog. The front desk staff were very welcoming and thorough. I asked for invoices of all of her medications and shots before going in so I could have an estimate. They would call us the week of to remind us of our appointment as well. The technicians were super friendly and allowed our puppy to warm up to them and even decided not to do particular things until next visit to not put my puppy through so much so that she can warm up to them. The vet answered all our questions and gave us suggestions on which vaccinations we should take and in what order. Having a dog can get expensive especially with prevention and vaccinations but everyone was very specific and informative letting us know what the vaccinations were for and how much so there were no surprises . Every visit was done under an hour and I felt like we were in good hands which is really hard when you have an anxious and sometimes intimidating dog. My husband, Luna , and I are so grateful for this team for making this process as smooth as possible. read more

This review is only for the Vet services, as we have not used Cole for Boarding or Grooming. The staff is extremely friendly and always responsive via email or phone. I also really appreciate the push to use more technology via app and email to allow more efficient communication. The techs and veterinary's themselves are extremely knowledgeable and take great care of our dogs. Always walking us through all the treatment options and not pushing us, letting the dog parents decide which treatment we want to go with. read more

I can not say enough good things about Dr Carder. I always feel like my pet gets personal care when she comes in. My dog was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor years ago by another vet. In august my westie was very ill and they took him in immediately on a Thursday for severe dehydration. Friday he still wasn't feeling well they did an ultrasound and found a foreign object/ mass in his abdomen. I was horrified!! Veterinary was compassionate towards my feeling, my husband had to take over. Odds were not good, but they left us with the choice. We decided to have the surgery and they immediately helped us look for financial help. They did the surgery immediately! Got a call in a few hours to tell us the good news. He was going to be okay. Picked him up Monday with medication and staples. I'm happy to say he was 100% in a week or so. I will forever be grateful for their urgent response. In October my beagle ended up whimpering from pain, took him in, as soon as he was seen they knew it was neck pain possible herniated disc. He was in so much pain they treated him and performed an X-ray. He was sent home with medication since he was able to walk and trying to be active. With his medication and kenneled rest he was able to make a full recovery. This place is always so helpful and informative. IT IS NOT CHEAP, but my pups are worth it. They treat pets and owners great! I will continue to bring them here. read more

I love the Coles! They have done a great job taking care of my fur baby and my parents fur baby. We had some allergic issues with mine but never made me come into the office every time somethjbfbdidnt work. They would just suggest something different. Other vets would have made you come in and pay the visit charge. We finally got her on medication that helps! They also board the girls if we are out of town and make sure they get the loving they deserve. I highly recommend!!! read more

I called and the receptionist was very rude and short with me. I was asking how much it would be to do a routine spay on a Shih Tzu. She said they'd need blood work, lab panels, exams, and pain meds all for a whooping $400 something dollars. I asked "$400 something to spay a little dog" and she said "yes" and hung up on me. Just had our third visit here, first two were just yearly exams and vaccines, but this time our dog Harper was having seizures. We had to take her to an Urgent Care at first because this all started on a Sunday night and she needed immediate care. I was so impressed that I received a phone call first thing Monday from Dr. Cole to check on Harper, as she was sent the reports from the Urgent Care Center. We made arrangements for her to see Harper ASAP for a follow-up and blood work. I am so grateful that Harper is in such great and caring hands! They have always been very friendly, but this occasion was scary and they spent a lot of time with us going over Harper's care for Epilepsy and future expectations. The Vet and staff were so sweet and compassionate! I feel confident they have Harpers best care in mind and will be there for us through this journey with her. read more
