Another five star Cole Haan experience at the new location in SoHo. Gorgeous store with a great staff. Jaime took care of us to the point where I felt bad for her. The floor of the shop is fairly dimly lit with accent lights on the shoes that want you to buy them. However, the stock room is down a spiral staircase that poor Jamie had to trek up and down to try yet another size or style for me. I settled on a fantastic scarf and a new pair of lace up high-end red dock martin-ish boots. So cool! Obviously, this location is a welcome addition in the new designer mall that is SoHo as the place was very busy. One really interested component to this store is the back wall where they are trying a new trend: hand-painted leather goods. Apparently, if you were to buy, say, a groovy pair of lace up leather shoes but wanted them in blue, there are artisans on side that will actually customize them for you! Ostensibly, you will be the only one you know -- perhaps the only one period -- to wear such a shoe, sport such a handbag and the like. Now that I have the red boots, maybe blue will be my next weakness! read more

Love the shoes, but don't love this location 1) they lock the doors 20-30 Mins before closing time 2) don't have a full selection of shoes. Even the ones they do have are often not available in my sizes (6.5 or 7), even just to try on 3) staff can be hit or miss, some are great, others are not read more

I love the men's shoes here - really nice. Women's - not my style, but hey if you're looking for some shoes...ask for Shaun! He's super sweet and nice! read more

This store is pretty small and doesn't offer a huge selection of shoes. I always find it crazy they have sales where the shoes are almost always $100 off... Yet they still range from $100-175. it's hard to understand if you are actually getting a deal or if they are just basically overpriced. I like the quality of their leather shoes ... I will say I am a bit over the color combinations that they are pushing on all of their shoes. Also, be prepared to suffer while you break into some of their shoes. I bought a pair 6 months ago and the still blister the back of my feet every so often, but the shoes are divine and I would buy them again if needed (yes, they are the right size!) With that said, every person should have a good quality pair of Cole Hanns... At least 1 that is:) read more

I made a purchase online and came to the store to exchange different sizes for a few pair of shoes. Tristan assisted me and was extremely helpful. He introduced me to his entire staff. The store was definitely packed but nonetheless, he helped me complete my refund and exchange. His customer services skills were impeccable. Overall, Tristan made the shopping experience incredibly seamless and enjoyable! Thanks again for going above and beyond! The five stars review is well-deserved. read more

"Sir, every store carries all of the products you can find online, except for this one" Me: "well, that's helpful" Very poor selection of products that are supposedly super high fashion. Quite misleading and their website should say something about it (like 'half-assed selection at this convenient location'). read more

I love the Cole Haan store in Soho. The customer associates are extremely helpful including the store manager, Kevin. I recently had an issue returning an item and they took care of it immediately. I love shopping specifically at this location. I've had too many issues shopping at their Flatiron location but the store in Soho makes up for the grief. read more

Beautiful store, excellent customer service! Jennifer helped me with my shoes. I was looking at a certain pair and she also brought out another style (a very different one) which I also happened to LOVE. I couldn't commit as I was in a wedding party and I wanted the bride to approve them. Customer service quality did not decline at all, even after revealing that fact! Came back a few days later to buy them and got great customer service again. All in all, a great experience... and I love my shoes! read more

Picked up a pair of loafers here on sale after finding them hiding in the back section behind the register. Service was also great as two out of the three people who worked here were super friendly. read more

Walking into this store on a hot summer day felt amazing (AC!) . As I walked in, I passed through the women's section first and was immediately greeted by a someone (its always nice to be acknowledged). I browsed around and found a shoe on sale that I liked so I asked one of the employees to see if they had my size. Of course, as my luck would have it, they did not have my size 6.5. Browsed around more, found another shoe that I loved even more than the first (summer khaki suede/fresh mint LunarGrand Wingtip). I asked Takashi to check if they had my size.... NOTHING. Super fail. I had already made it up in my mind that I wasn't going home with any shoes that day. But then... Takashi offered to call and check other Cole Haan stores in Manhattan... still nothing! Then he came up with another idea to check the Cole Haan warehouse to see if there were any in stock..... SUCCESS. He told me that I could order the shoes at the store and they'll ship the shoes to my house for no extra fee. He also helped my brother find his shoes by calling Cole Haan stores in Boston (where I'm from) so that we could pick them up when we returned from our visit to NYC. Takashi's customer service was outstanding. I worked in retail before so I always appreciate great customer service. He went above and beyond my expectations when thinking of multiple solutions to find my shoes. Shipping was really fast, I got my shoes in the mail 3 days after placing the order at the store. I'm extremely happy with my experience and will definitely go back to Cole Haan SoHo. Ask for Takashi, he'll take good care of you =) read more

I came here for their #LedburyxColeHaan Pop-Up Launch Party a few days ago and was really impressed, not only by how friendly and accommodating the staff was but also by how well put together the store is. There was a whole lot of food being passed around, great drinks, a solid DJ, and a whole lot of people very excited to be able to purchase shoes in the midst of a very exciting situation. This event was definitely well done :) read more

Great store w unique selections!! I came in a few weeks back in a rush and was helped by Greg. He was great and helped me find the perfect shoes right away. I will be back soon !!! Thanks Greg! read more

Beware. I was a loyal customer and evangelist of Cole Haan because of their shoe design and quality. However, I tried to purchase 4 pairs of shoes online from them and only 1 pair were delivered. I tried writing customer service and received no response. I wrote again and I got a friendly 25% off my next purchase. Then I wrote to the CEO and received no response. How's that for brand loyalty? I don't care how comfortable or well designed their shoes are -- if you can't treat your customer with some respect or get some response, I can shop elsewhere. This experience just leaves a bad taste of which I will always remember. read more

I live a block away from this store. I have twice tried to buy shoes there, only to find that they don't carry the style I'm looking for, and I have to go home and buy shoes on line again. If you're going to pay a ton of money to have a store in SOHO, why not have more than a tiny fraction of your products available? Call me old-fashioned, but sometimes it's nice to just go to a store, buy something, and walk out with it. read more

I really disliked the service. I've been to the other location in Manhattan and they were nice. The 2 women I talked to acted like I was some kind of social deviant for daring to want to refund shoes that I bought online that gave me blisters requiring 3 different bandaids after I wore them once. I'm not sure how I'd know if the shoes are comfortable without walking in them. They don't even give store credit. read more

I've been to this store numerous times and I generally leave with at least one pair of shoes. I was very disappointed one evening when one of their female staff was downright rude and dismissive. She would not even look me in the eye when I asked a question. My opinion of the store was tarnished by this behavior. I hope she knows to correct that attitude. read more

Incredibly helpful staff, great music, refreshing AC, and above all - great product! I'll definitely be back.

Nice store. I passed out for a while here while my friend was shopping; it was quite a nice nap.

don't buy these shoes. i barely wore them, and after our epic snow storm, this is what they look like: http://imgur.com/a/AiJZw customer service won't help me out either. read more

I bought a pair of heels and a big bag at this store in Oct 2010 and must agree, the customer service is great...when you spending money and there is commission to be made. Unfortunately the dye on the bag has started coming off in places and I was shocked at the response I got when I tried to take it in to be fixed. I was told (by a sales assistant and later a manager) that their bags are seasonal and not meant for frequentg use. They did not tell me this when i spent my hard earned $400. Also, who buys a leather bag for a season? I thought we pay up for leather so that it can wear well over time and get character. If i wanted something seasonal then i would pay $40 for a faux leather or material handbag. furthermore, for them to fix it takes 4-6 weeks. how crazy? to think...a better dye or apology would translate into better profits. Instead, i will never buy a Cole Haan product again. not when there are so many choices out there. read more

Isaiah there is fantastic. Very down-to-earth, patient and understanding. He took the time to communicate and explain the differences between the Madison shoe and the Lenox Hill shoe. I've bought two pairs from this location now. Other sales staff seem friendly and fun too. Recommend. read more

Very friendly staff. Jose and JP could not more any more patient and helpful. One of the better Cole Haan stores I've experienced from a service perspective, especially in NYC. read more

This review is regarding service at this store, not the quality of shoe. I shopped here on Friday afternoon, June 22, 2012 looking to try on a few pair of shoes. I think the new shoe designs are pretty interesting. Upon entering the store there wasn't an associate on the men's side (he was just on the women's side). He came around into the men's department, smiled and stood in the doorway. We said hi him, and he nodded at us. I was with my partner; we picked up several pair of shoes, commenting on them and their look, and while we were the only people in the store, we were never approached. While I typically don't like pushy sales folk, I do like to be acknowledged, and when a customer is picking up merchandise and commenting on the shoe, I would think the associate would want to help, offer to grab a pair from the back, make a suggestion, anything. So after a few minutes of browsing and being ignored we left and went and bought a lovely pair of shoes from John Fluevog where I had the most amazing service. read more

Shopping experience was fine. 1 star is for horrible after sale experience. We bought the shoes and and had it shipped to our address. After 10 minutes of buying we like something else and wanted to return it. The store did not accept the returns at that point. Said wait for them to arrive and then they will send return label. Have been trying to call them for 2 weeks but yet the return label has not been sent. Guess for future will stick to online shopping. read more

The other Cole haan stores are a lot kinder. The sales rep I had wasn't attentive to me or helpful when I asked if they could check another store for a different pair. read more

This is the Cole Haan "Concept Store" so there were many models not available anywhere else specifically some models of the Lunargrands. Very cool looking displays and I fell in love with a pair of Chukkas. The staff however was a different story. Very cold and rude especially the fellow who brought up my shoes. He was very curt and disinterested in helping me out. I ended up purchasing the shoes, but not because of the customer service. I do recommend checking out this store for Cole Haan models that you may not be able to find elsewhere. read more
