I want to make it clear to start that the salesman, Keaton, did an amazing job. He was responsive to my questions and concerns and worked with me to get a fair price. Never once was he pushy. After he handed me off to the finance person things went downhill. He kept pushing the extended warranty on me despite my multiple statements that I did not want it. I think I had to tell him at least 4 times. I have to say that implying that the manufacturer wouldn't honor their warranty nearly cost them the sale. I told him from the beginning that I had already been approved for financing, but he would not take no for an answer on this. He swore he could get me a better deal. Everything in the last paragraph I can chalk up to it being just how finance people are. This next part is what earns them the rating. I told him at the very beginning that I wanted to have my wife on the loan. He completely ignored that it seems. I finally conceded to the pressure and went with their financing because it wasn't all that much worse than what I already had arranged. Contrary to finding me a better deal, it was 0.25% higher than what I already had arranged. When he brings me the paperwork to sign I ask about putting my wife on the loan. He said something to the effect of "that would mean we have to redo all the paperwork" I asked if we could do that and he told me that I could just go in to the bank and add her. This was a bald faced lie. I would give the benefit of the doubt here, but both the loan officer and the DMV clerk said that they always say that. It was shortly after this that he had me sign for acknowledgment of the interior protection and anti theft. This was literally the first time I had heard of the anti theft. Honestly, I should have walked out right then. I love the car. Keaton did an amazing job. 6/5 stars for him. For the rest of the experience, much less so. Update: Went in to attempt to resolve the financing problem from above. It was a disaster. The finance person above was actually the finance manager. Immediately says that he did not say any of that and that I never mentioned that I already had financing. After some heated back and forth I believe we had worked out a path forward to refinance the car to add my wife. I asked that they refinance it at the same terms to compensate me for the hassle. He told me that they cannot change the interest rate. I asked if there was something else they could do to make this right. He said he had to get the sales manager. Sales manager was even worse than the finance manager. He was unwilling to even entertain the idea that there was any fault on their part. He was only willing to give me qualified responses "If you have A+ credit" was his favorite. He directly insulted me and claimed that I was not willing to take responsibility for my choices. The interaction ended with him saying "I think we're done here" and motioning for me to leave the office. Needless to say, I'm never buying another vehicle from them. I highly recommend nobody else does as well. If you do choose to buy from them realize that their word means nothing and get everything in writing. Many of these reviews mention their customer service, but I've been treated better by most shady used car shops. read more

Purchased a truck in '25, and a year later traded in for a 2500 truck. The extended warranty from Ally sent me pro-rated refund. However, two warranties I purchased from Assurant, Cole will not refund pro-rated refunds. Assurant states the dealer handles the transactions however the say both should be refunded on a pro-rated scale. However, Assurant won't do a thing, and Cole will not refund. Their manager I was talking to was terrible and just worthless. Last phone conversation I ended with a two-word phrase "F You. I should not have done that but after about two months of contact via phone and emails, and he suddenly stated the cannot be refunded. Just terrible way to do business. Glad to say they will never have my business again and I have purchased two truck from them while l lived in the Pocatello area, a 2015 Silverado, and the 2024 Silverado that I had the Assurant warranties. read more

I purchased a brand-new 2025 Chevy Trax from Pocatello Chevrolet, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. After only about 700 miles, the car suddenly showed an "Engine Power Reduced" message and had to go in for major repairs. They told me the turbo needed to be fixed, and after two weeks of waiting, I finally got the car back. Now, less than one day, the car is already having transmission problems. I am making monthly loan payments for a vehicle that spends more time in the repair shop than on the road. This is unacceptable for a brand-new car, and it shows a complete lack of quality control and customer care. I have completely lost confidence in this dealership and in the product they sold me. This place is a joke. I drove an hour and a half to look at a used truck. As they were running my credit someone called and put a deposit on it and all of a sudden I could not buy it. They said they didn't even get my credit ran, but then I looked and I have a hard inquiry from them. This company seems to care more about money than helping someone find a vehicle. I will not ever buy from this company. The salesman was very nice and seemed to really want to help me. But for the company to allow this type of practice shows that they are only looking for your money! I paid for a front-end alignment here, after they said it was out of alignment. A few days later, I was getting the tires rotated at a different shop and they told me my outer tie-rods were bad (thus, making my alignment pointless). I took it back to Cole, they looked at it, and agreed that they had missed that when they were doing the alignment. They are now crediting that amount toward the new tie rods. On a later date, I took my car into the shop to have the rear differential checked out and serviced (if necessary). 4 hours later, all they had to tell me was that they thought it needed to be serviced, but didn't have the fluid for it. 4 hours of my time to tell me it needed serviced.... Today, and forgive me for my frustration, they were supposed to put in the new tie-rods. I took my car in at 8am. They told me the work should only take a few hours. It is now 4pm and they haven't even started on my car. They said the mechanic got tied up with another job. Why didn't they get it to another mechanic? I attempted contacting them to get updates various times between noon and 4, and my call would never make it to the service department. They said the guy would call me back when he knew hour far along he was. Finally, after having my car sitting there for 8 hours, they finally admitted that they hadn't even started. 8 more hours of wasted time. If they made an effort to make things right, like reducing my charge or something like that, I wouldn't be so frustrated. But, in my few times being there, they have kept my car at the shop for extended periods of time just to tell me at the end of the day that they didn't even start it. My personal service rep is the best one there. He's easy to get along with, and very respectable. However, their team did not seem to make any effort whatsoever to make things right and apologize for this major inconvenience. read more
