I noticed there weren't any reviews for these guys…read more I have to say that on a recommendation I took a vehicle in for some work and have never stopped going back some 3 yrs later. With 4 teens in cars we obviously have some routine vehicle issues. These guys are always fast, reasonable, accurate and attentive. They always remember me by name, my kids, work and what's going on in life and never do anything that I don't want done. I trust the dealer mechanics in town but I trust these guys more to only recommend what really needs to be done at a fair price and get 'r done quick. I routinely recommend them to friends and family.

Had to call three times to ask for the price of the service that was being done on my truck which…read morewas an oil change and right rear berring leak. Response was "oh I don't know. It's going to be pricey." Guy on phone estimated and told me $30 for the seal. That's the only price he told me regarding an estimated cost. I knew it wouldn't be just $30. When it was done that's when I got the actual price. Over $700. And got charged around $130 for a $30 part including overnight shipping. Was told the first seal didn't take which was a red flag. I was also charged 8.99 for windshield wiper top off. That could've been a price said over the phone if it was I wouldn't have authorized it (actually didn't when I dropped truck off because I only said an oil change and the berring seal.) since I have wiper fluid at home. I paid and drove the truck home and to work next day. Not even 60 miles since work was done and the berring seal was leaking again. I drove back to Bill and Mikes and told them. Bring it back they said. Since I had a terrible experience with them with just getting transparency on pricing of the work being done I took it to a certified ASE mechanic. After he took everything apart he informed me that Bill and Mikes didn't have the right tool for the seal job and they pried the old seal out with a chisel damaging the seal seat. See attached pictures. They also didn't have the right tool to install the new seal as that was damaged too. Hence why the new seal bill and mikes installed leaked immediately because it was already damaged from the mechanic jamming it in. He also informed me that they stripped the differential fluid bolt and broke something on my rear brake. The brakes weren't bleed through correctly when I drove it away from Bill and Mikes because I had to press the pedal all the way to floor to stop. I had to spend the same amount of money to fix it correctly with a different mechanic. I wish to get a full refund for the work Bill and Mikes did on the berring seal. They shouldn't offer this service if the mechanic doesn't have the right tools for the job. I won't be taking my vehicles here ever again. My experience summed up: 1) dodgy with price transparency 2) did a terrible job and didn't fix the problem 3) damaged my truck more after their service.

They quoted me $4,500. I took that quote to Sunpower and asked them if they could look at it and give me a lesser quote; they looked at it and quoted me $2,700 and said it would take 4-5 days to get everything done. Thats an $1,800 difference! I had to wait 10 days to get an appointment because they are so good at their work and we're booked out. It did take 5 days, but, my car ran good again and it was definitely worth the wait to save so much money. They also told me if I had ANY problems to bring the car back in. The only thing I went back for was to take the crew some KFC for lunch the next day! Thank you Sunpower Automotive! It's great to have a reliable, trustworthy place to take my car!

Unsafe, sloppy work, my vehicle was returned in dangerous condition…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for a repair, expecting basic competence and safety. Instead, I got a car that was wired incorrectly, assembled poorly, and unsafe to drive. Here's what I found immediately after getting it back: * Electrical wiring done incorrectly: The speakers were wired wrong, so none of them worked properly. The turn signal and brake light wiring was reversed, meaning when I used my turn signals, my brake lights lit up instead, and vice versa an accident waiting to happen. * Safety systems disconnected: My reverse lights were completely disconnected, leaving me with no way to signal to other drivers or pedestrians when backing up. * Broken hardware: Both bolts holding the tail lights were broken, leaving the tail lights loose and not securely attached to the car. * Improper reassembly: The dashboard was installed incorrectly, and the center console wasn't even bolted down. This isn't just "less than ideal"; this is work that put me at risk on the road. None of these issues were small mistakes; they were either the result of extreme carelessness or a complete lack of understanding of how the vehicle should be reassembled. When I contacted the shop to resolve these issues, they refused to correct their mistakes, claiming that "someone touched the car," even though the problems were created entirely by their work. This left me with no choice but to spend my own time and resources diagnosing and fixing every issue myself just to make the car safe and roadworthy. No customer should have to do that after paying a shop for work. I strongly recommend avoiding this business. If my experience is any indication, you may end up with dangerous mistakes, damaged parts, and extra work just to make your car safe again.

They were "kind" enough to check my brake pads while at it and found that my rear pads only had 30% left on them. Quoted me $800ish to replace rear rotors, pads, and brake fluid. Felt steep and was not in my budget at the time. When I told them no they back pedaled and offered $600 because my fluid wasn't looking too bad. You know what else wasn't looking too bad? My brakes! Just had another shop, 2,000 miles later, tell me I have 70% left on all brake pads. Shame on you! Were you planning on pocketing the $800 or did you feel like practicing an unnecessary repair? I was traveling and short on time, so maybe they thought I would panic and pay. Maybe they thought I was a gullible young woman. I'll tell you what I am: angry and disgusted. I repeat, do not trust these people
