Picture is as far as it will recline.

If there's anything wrong with your furniture, the process to get it repaired is a nightmare. If it is not something that can be fixed immediately you will wait and wait and wait for parts. My furniture was picked up twice and taken to their shop and both times returned with the issue not fixed. In fact when it came back the second time it was actually worse. Neither side of the couch would recline. It has now been six months and I am still waiting for the repair to be completed. I have asked if they could just swap it out with a new piece and that is not their process, but with the amount of time they have wasted back-and-forth it doesn't make sense. So every month I make my payment on my account for a piece of furniture that does not work as it's intended. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Colders.

Repair upholstery... six chairs are horrible, and the cushions are sinking again

2022 we purchased a beautiful dining room table and hutch. Six months later, the cushion sink and all the six chairs.. we were still under warranty and they came out and replaced the six cushions. A year later those cushions sink in again, but we were no longer under warranty, Colders recommend their repair company, Deborah Anderson Ray. The wife Deborah and husband Ray came into our home and replaced the cushions.. they did a horrible job, including repairing the chairs in our dining room and living room, and I had a lot of lint and materials to pick up after they left. I was so devastated. I refused to pay the full amount of $900.00. I'm disputing the rest of their lousy job of repair with my charge card.

I had a great experience from the ease of ordering my chosen washing machine to the delivery. Every employee was helpful and kind. It came 30 minutes into my delivery window, they installed it and were out in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend Colder's for the total experience.

IKEA: At just 17 years old, Ingvar Kamprad founded IKEA during WWII in his home country of Sweden…read more IKEA's name is derived from Ingvar's's initials, Elmtaryd (the farm he was raised on), and Agunnaryd (the nearby village). By 1948 things were in full swing and he started focusing on furniture. Ingvar took notice of the high costs and damage rates that came with transporting his furniture via mail order and in 1953, IKEA adopted the flatpack (ready to assemble furniture) to combat it. Ready to assemble furniture has resulted in IKEA being able to offer products with high quality and low prices. 1960 would see the introduction of IKEA Restaurants in their stores after Ingvar noted customers often leaving around lunchtime, which obviously wasn't good as unlike at grocery stores, hungry customers buy less. After the early 1980s saw IKEA enter the franchise system, the first US location opened in 1985. It wasn't until 2018 though that an IKEA opened near me in Oak Creek, WI. In addition to the full-sized restaurant strategically located in the center of the store, IKEA's other most notable aspect is its layout. Unlike traditional stores organized with aisles, IKEA herds customers on a one-way path that weaves and wags throughout the entire store. Not a bad marketing strategy as it forces customers to see everything and potentially buy more. There are a small number of shortcuts that can be found on a map for customers in more of a hurry. For those shopping with small children, there's Småland, a completely free playground-like area where kids can play for 60-90 minutes. The restrooms are clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. When I initially signed up for "IKEA Family" (IKEA's free rewards program) it was impromptu at the checkout so I could get a discount/sale price. Although it's relatively intuitive, the self-service checkout attendant was willing to help. While not necessary for me, it would have been beneficial for customers like my elderly parents. In the winter, I sometimes wander the store weekly and browse the tastefully decorated displays, often noticing something new each time. They're the only shop I know of in my area that sells individual "Lucky Bamboo" stalks, which is nice as I don't have to buy a whole new pot if one of my stalks dies. Other than the live bamboo, I primarily purchase small decorative items to accentuate my home, but IKEA would have been perfect for furniture when I moved away for college or got my first apartment. Whether you're looking for a new piece of furniture, a complete remodel consult, a new dinner plate, or maybe dinner itself from the restaurant, IKEA is the place to go. They actually take me to the location where to find my item, rather than just saying oh go to aisle 13, like other stores do. The store is always clean and well organized. I think the prices are fair and comparable to the quality you are getting.

Immediately, when I walked into the store proper I noticed that the store is laid out differently than every other Home Depot location in the area. No biggie. But, it's a noticable, brief adjustment. The indoor plant section was very small in size and selection. I won't ever come back to this location for indoor plants. In contrast, the Holt Avenue location has one of the largest and nicest indoor plant sections of the Home Depot stores in the Milwaukee area that I have visited. We went specifically to the Franklin location in need of new mailbox and mailbox post. I know nothing at all about mailbox replacement. I bought a house a few years ago. I knew that there would be grass to cut and snow to shovel but I had no idea that one day I'd come home from work and my mailbox would have died. At the Franklin store a staff person saw me peering quizzically at the wall of mailbox accoutrements and asked if I needed help. It must have been written all over my face. Yes, girl. Please. Help! The staff person was so personable, helpful and spent a good bit of time with me. I walked away from our interaction with my questions answered, clear next steps and feeling much more knowledgeable about the entire mailbox situation.

We cannot say enough good things about Christian. He was polite, approachable, well-mannered, very informative and, most of all, honest. By the time he got done with his diagnosis, everyone agreed it would cost us less to buy a new unit than it would be to dump the money in to fix the old one. That is what we did. And we thank Christian for showing us options. I am not sure who trained this guy, but he is the real deal. Naturally, we hope we don't have to see you too often. But when we do, it is Christian we will be asking for.

Date of service: March 21, 2025…read more Really appreciated that I could schedule an appointment online with Mr Appliance through their website as I tend to be crazy busy during working hours and loathe leaving voicemails for companies and playing phone tag. Jalen with Mr Appliance also came when they said they would come and resolved the issue quickly and easily. The issue was a grinding noise that our less than three year old dryer was making. an obvious sign that something was not right. Jalen suspected a potential blower motor issue and got to work on resolving it. 25 minutes later the problem was fixed: Excess lint buildup that got through the lint trip and into the machine, causing the motor to have to work harder than it needed to. He showed me all of the lint he pulled out, but he piled it up on the runner below the dryer and on the top of our glass-topped washing machine, requiring me to clean off the washer and wash the runner. In addition, it was $243 for less than a half hour of his time. If the service call is $129, that would make the hourly rate $200 for Mr Appliance--I am clearly in the wrong line of work! Unfortunately I can't really give more than three stars given the cost and cleanup from the appointment.
