The only good thing about Esch is one mechanic - Omar - that may be the best mechanic in SE Wisc…read more They have a "standard" 3 week turn over. I called and had a long discussion, with 2 people, was put on hold multiple times so the second could "check". I was told 1-2 weeks for what I was asking (tubes and tune up). I then asked about new blades, and was 3 weeks bc they need to wait for parts (blades). That's reasonable. I then said I had blades from John Deere, but wasn't strong enough to change them myself. I was told if I provided the parts it would be 1-2 weeks. Then I scheduled the pick up which happened on July 8th. I called in the second week (7/19) to check the status and was told 3 MORE weeks. Excuse me? This completely contradicts our prior discussions. The options I was given were: 3 more weeks or they could return it today for $60. They are returning it today, for $60 (pick up delivery fee) with NO work being done. It sat for 2 weeks on flat tires. I had it up on wood to protect the rims. They KNEW the tires would go flat (it's on the order). They did nothing in 2 weeks. They have serious work flow problems and often flat out lie to customers. I have avoided because of this, but thought I'd give it another chance due to the pre-pick up conversations. AVOID if you need your equipment back in the same season.

I have been dealing with Esch for more than 35 years, both personally and professionally, and have…read morenothing but good things to say. They still have old fashioned "service" with knowledgeable people and parts for branded machines going back decades. I simply don't understand the negative reviews. Since I just recently bought a John Deere "consumer" E120 lawn tractor with attachments for $2,000, I can say without fear of contradiction that NO ONE would sell you an X739 for $2,000. The X739 is a top-of-the-line, commercial, "signature series" machine with a retail starting at $12,000 - $13,000. I'm thinking that someone switched price tags, and I doubt it was the staff. Similarly, I live in Franklin, a suburb that borders on Greendale, WI. There is nowhere in Greendale that is more than 15-20 minutes away from Esch, so the idea of going an "hour out of my way" to pick up a part is pure hogwash.

Absolutely disgusting place to shop at! I had my fist encounter with a raggedy a&$ Karen!" On…read moreSunday I go to target in OAK CREEK to get some laundry detergent because they had a deal if you spend $50 you can get $10 off, and I had coupons as well, which made it a really great deal and was right up my alley because I need some fabric softener and etc. I also stop by the toddler aisle to see what's cute for my baby because I always have to get her something so I found a super cute pair of slippers and like two shirts. I also found a purse. That I have previously bought from target that was the same brand but bigger and I bought it in brown. So when I seen this light green bag just much smaller like a fanny pack! I'm like this bag is so cute... so fast forward I get to the self checkout line after waiting in the line for a few minutes. And as I'm going past the self check out attending or (whatever they called) I see her take a look at what's inside my cart and side eyeing me which made me think she thought I was stealing and sure enough She walks up to me and tells me that she needs me to open the bag and I'm looking confused like you mean my purse?? Like what?? She's like no the bag that you're buying .. so I opened the bag and she takes out the paper and I asked her if I could have the paper back and she tells me NO AND how its " target policy that they have to remove the paper out of purses and how kids have been coming in to steal and pop the sensor tags of items and putting them in bags" so I instantly am confused because what does all that extra stuff you said have to do with anything!!! Remind YOU A LADY IN SELF CHECKOUT BROUGHT A BIGGER PURSE THEN THIS LITTLE PURE I WAS GETTING AND SHE DID NOT CHECK GET BAG AT ALL!!!! And of course she didn't because she's was WHITE! & I'm BLACK. I have been to target multiple times and have NEVER EVER CHECK MY BAG TO MAKE SURE NOTHING WAS IN IT. This was completely unacceptable and I will be posting this on every social media platform to share my disappointed and unprofessional unpleasant experience! And to add other things. If that is the " policy " WHY???? NOT TAKE THE PAPER OUT OF ALL THE PURSES???? Oh because it's NOT THE POLICY! I WAS BEING RACIALLY PROFILE!!!! PERIOD!!

I came with a particular need in mind, shade annuals to plant in a specific area. I assumed going to a local business rather than a chain would entail more of a personal touch but I didn't get that. The two employees greeted me but didn't ask if I needed any help so I figured I'd just roam around and see what I could find. I didn't think the types of plants were labeled very well, so I ended up back at the register to ask for advice. After I interrupted her reading a magazine, the lady gave me a couple of suggestions and pointed to areas I could look but it would have been nice if she walked me to the spot and helped me look for what she recommended. She also mentioned they were out of the options that may be a good fit so I guess, come earlier than the first week of June for a full selection. We aren't all garden experts and I was hoping they would be. Anyway, I figured out what to get by reading the markers in the plants. I can't say for sure, but I feel like I was also overcharged for the plants I selected. You'll see in my picture but their pricing for most items is based on the size of the container. How do I know the guy who rang me up picked the right price? My receipt didn't provide details so I couldn't verify later. Anyway, I like the plants I selected but I don't think I'll return. I get more of a personal touch with plant advice from my local hardware store (though they have a limited selection).
