But I'd like to remind business owners that a simple "Hello, I'll be right with you" goes a long way. I was the only customer in the store around 4 PM today and there was one employee working. I was not acknowledged for at least three minutes even though she blatantly saw me standing there. It was uncomfortable and I almost walked out but I really wanted to try a cupcake. This was my first visit. I would've easily bought more goodies and given more of my hard-earned money to a small business had the customer service been better.
