I vowed to get to this bakery that is quite a distance from my home. Sadly, I just heard that they will be permanently closing their doors on December 26, 2025. With that being said, I wanted to make sure I got there to get their rainbow cookie crumb cake for one last time! I made a special trip on my way home from work. On this late Wednesday evening, I stopped in to find the LAST piece of rainbow crumb cake for the day. While they had plenty of the regular crumb cake and red velvet crumb cake, it's the rainbow cookie crumb cake that is my favorite. BTW, I recommend going earlier in the day to ensure you get exactly what you want. Luckily they still had what I just had to have. Additionally, they have a bunch of other baked goods. In the cases there were cookies, cakes, cheese cakes, lobster claws, Napoleons, cupcakes, etc. too! The homey bakery space is roomy with a table of baked-good trays to go in the center of the store. Since I was the only person in the bakery, the girls were attentive and accommodating.

I have been looking for Stuffoli (Italian Honey Balls ) from a bakery in Long Island for quite some time. The deep fried bowls of honey caramelized and honey and topped with rainbow sprinkles and candied fruit. I thought the price was reasonable for bakeries today. I am surprised to see the negative reviews of Park Bake shop on here honestly. We have been coming…read morehere since we moved to the area 5 years ago and this is honestly one the best we have ever had. The negative reviews are kind of funny because of what people are complaining about. One guy went here to get coffee? No, this is not the place to get coffee, walk in the door and see that, it's not what they do. I don't think they even have an espresso machine here. I do have to admit that Park Bake shop does do breads and bagels but they are not very good. I tried once or twice because they looked good but the taste just isn't there. But what they do well is cookies, cakes, and pastries. Pretty much anything in the cases are excellent. All the cookies are awesome, always fresh, and all reasonably priced. I love Park Bake shop and will continue to come here often!
