We placed an order for a ice cream cake with specific details and colors. When we went to have it picked up first they said we didn't place an order which I showed them the receipt. They still said something went wrong as there was no orders. We had to sit there and wait while they tried to clear it up. After 10 minutes they still did not apologize and said they could RUSH a cake through but it was almost like they were doing us a favor. They rushed out the cake which looked like a kid did the writing in an ugly color and with frost on top and then found out the cake was completely SOLID. We left out and it did not defrost until 30 minutes AFTER the bday party! We asked the store and corporate for our money back for the cake and not one person got back to us. But this is what people do in today's society, care ONLY about themselves while customer service is non existent or people don't care or have empathy even in a bday. Worst. Experience. Out shopping in the mall today, and couldn't resist the call for a treat. This is one of the cleanest Cold Stone's I've been in... super spick n span. Was helped by a kind guy named Mik? He took the time to help me sample a few new flavors they had, but in the end I stuck with my Coffee Lovers. Always nice to watch them mix all the stuff together. But what really stuck out was how professional they were. In this day n age, it was nice to be helped by someone who referred to me as "sir" and confirmed my choices throughout the process. Thank you to the kind staff that worked this afternoon. I knew that DoorDash would deliver but I didn't know if it was possible to have anything written on the cake since it wasn't pre-ordered and custom made. I originally didn't think about ordering a cake from any major chains was because I'm very big on supporting the local business but after sulking about what the other cake looked like, my mind was racing the entire time till I have secured another alternative. I asked if they can put, "Happy 19 Birthday Bella!!" and I didn't think they would but I was so surprised and happy that they put in the extra effort in making a young lady's birthday a bit more personable, a bit more special. Also kudos to DoorDash for offering extremely fast service. The cake was delivered to their doorsteps completely unscathed! A lesson learned from me. I ordered cold stone from Uber eat 2 nights in a row. The first night I got 2 love it's. When it arrived one was in the like it size and the other was seemingly the right size (love it). My boyfriend didn't eat his right away and tonight he went to eat his and it was a smaller size put into the correct size. Then I ordered a love it size to make up for their mistake yesterday and they again gave me the wrong size. And with all this we called in and the service was absolutely terrible at 9pm when we called with the staff being extremely disrespectful and hanging up as well as not providing names after their terrible service. They also would not let me know when the manager would be there so we could talk about the issues with our order and the service. I ordered Cold Stone on DoorDash with a late night craving, so I was already in a vulnerable state. I'm glad I got two items because the first one, Berry Berry Good, was pathetic. It didn't have much fruit added, and instead of combining the ingredients-- It was just ice cream with a few whole, frozen strawberries and blueberries. The second dessert I will say, was much better. I did cookie dough ice cream with peanut butter cups/brownie bites. The amount of peanut butter cups wasn't great, but it at least was mixed together. read more

On Jan. 6, 2023 my daughter and I arrived at the Cold Stone in Arden Fair mall a little after 8pm. The website said it was open until 11pm. There were a few customers that were ordering, but the female employee told me that they were closed. I said that the website said that you were open, and she told me for online orders only. I asked if I could order online. She said I could, and the order would be brought to me by Onit. My daughter and I walked down by Onit, and placed the order on my phone. By the time we got it ordered, it was 8:15pm with the confirmation saying it would be ready at 8:30pm. I waited with no one coming until 8:45pm when I walked back up to the store and asked the male employee mopping the floor about my order. He took it out of the cooling unit saying it had been ready for a long time. I asked why it was not brought to me as I was told was going to happen and he said I was supposed to call them to say I was there. He also said he saw me but didn't know which was my order, and that they aren't going to keep going down with orders. When I asked if I could do an online order I was not told that I needed to call, nor did the website or confirmation say I needed to call. I asked why they didn't call me since my phone number was put on the order, and I was told that only managers have access to phone numbers. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were in the bathroom not knowing when they would be out. I took the bag and walked down to my daughter waiting. When we opened the bag, the ordered Waffle Bowl was not in the bag, and the ice cream was melted dripping out. We walked back up and told the man that was still mopping the floor. He then grabbed a waffle bowl with his bare hands touching the inside of it. He was just mopping the floor! I complained that the ice cream was melted, and he had the other male employee there make a new one. That employee was irritated and said something to the effect of "they already have one, just put it in the bowl." The employee mopping still had him make a new one and continued mopping. When the ice cream was ready, he stopped mopping and once again picked up the waffle bowl grabbing the inside of it with his unwashed bare hands placing it in the bag. This is completely unsanitary and against the Health Code. I left since it was clear I wasn't going to get anywhere by the argumentative attitude I got from the employees. By the time we got back to the car, we had already been there an hour. I have never been to a Cold Stone. I was given a $10 gift card and have about $1 left. I won't be back to use it. read more

i'd give this place zero stars, the kids working here are rude and had terrible service. i was here on 1/6 and i am not pleased with my encounter with Aviana. there was a line for ice cream and we were patiently waiting for our turn. when the previous family had checked out, the group of workers (kids approximately 4-5 of them) turned to each other and started talking instead of helping customers. As we stood there looking at them waiting for them to finish chatting it up, Aviana and another guy worker finally turned their backs around and looked at us. But they were still chatting and instead of saying "i can help who's next" they just stared at us and i said "are you guys ready?" since they had all seemed to not be done with their conversations to start the rest of the lines orders. when they were scooping our ice cream Aviana and the guy worker had such foul attitude. They spoke to us and looked at us as if we interrupted their "important" conversation about how another worker went and spent his whole paycheck on some stuff animal/squish-mellow. When we finally finished checking out Aviana spoke in a very petty tone. Whoever the manager is you need to check your employees and how they should be talking to customers. these workers obviously seemed like they hated their job or didn't want to be there. It's ice cream for crying out loud, how can you hire such foul ppl to scoop ice cream. I will definitely keep Aviana in my prayers and hope she can fix that foul attitude of hers. read more

I've been skeptical about delivery for ice cream. But I did it anyways. Cold stone is always a 5 star in my opinion. They have some of the best ice cream. Got the sweat cream ice cream with blueberries, strawberry, and raspberry. So good. It was melted a bit which I assumed. But the deliveey person had a double order. I have always loved Cold Stones! I was sad to see some of the locations close down such as the one previously here at Arden. They just opened it again in the old Teavana location (upstairs in the mall). The location is nice and roomy inside, rather than just a counter you have to walk up to. This place is amazing. I have called several other places in town trying to get an ice cream cake and was told I waited too long to get it by the weekend. Cold Stone made a fresh one for me and it was delicious. They were a little more expensive but absolutely worth it. The cake was actually bigger than I expected and we had leftovers. Very nice people and very fresh delicious ice cream cake. Terrible costumer service. The ladies who work there always seem to be in a hurry and don't seem to be very patient about the clients. I went there with my family and The girl working there (Giselle R) was charging us when we were not even finished making our orders and even though there were not any costumers around for such a hurry. Plus, they don't even take the time to thank costumers for stopping by nor wish them a good day. Because of that, I don't think I will be coming back!! read more

Bought a small scoop of sweet cream in a waffle cone. Ice cream was good but the waffle cone was old, stale and VERY hard. I was honestly afraid it would chip a tooth while I took a bite. I am not surprised by the quality of the cone since it seems to be on par with the rest of the Cold Stones I have visited. Wish they checked their batches before giving them to customers. Also disappointed they are still using plastic spoons and don't even ask if you want one before sticking it in. Not sure that I will be back. read more
