Consistently great ice cream! Friendly staff, clean location, this is our go to spot for a cool treat.

My birthday cake and special day was wonderful. Thank you to Team Coldstone!

Ordered a chocolate chip ice cream cake for my 64th. It was delicious. Definitely will go back for more.

My daughter and I came in a couple days ago before getting our flu vaccine. The girl who helped us was a sweetheart. The establishment was clean and they wore masks as they also require customers to wear one too. We ate our ice cream outside as they don't allow sitting inside but they at least had umbrellas so that you are out of the sun.

Giving it one less star because they forgot to put the message on the cake I ordered. Since the husband picked it up and didn't really hear what I asked them to do when I called a day earlier, he didn't know any better and just left. A little more coordination or attention would've gotten it right. Still, the cake is tasty as always, and with the Groupon discount and the extra sale they had when I purchased it, you just can't get a better deal anywhere else.

Our order was mixed up, it was loud and dirty inside and very obviously almost the end of a long night.

I stopped by on a week day after an event in the area for a late night treat. Ambiance (3.5/5): Like most ice cream shops, Pazzo is a pretty small establishment. There's seating for about eight people or so inside. Something to keep in mind as if you're visiting at a peak time, you may have to eat outside, in your car, or standing up. Though it's tiny, it's well-kept and comfortable. Service (4/5): While service isn't a big part of the experience, it went pretty well. When we arrived, nobody was working the front, but he came from the back after a minute or two. I imagine he was waiting gelato. Like pretty much any ice cream shop, they will let you sample flavors. From there, I paid quickly. Drinks (N/A): I only ordered ice cream, but they have coffee, water, and a few soft drinks. Food (4/5): You know the drill. Choose your size. Cone or a cup. To make things more interesting, you can even get gelato sandwiched between two cookies. I was tempted, but opted for a medium gelato in a cup which allowed me to choose two flavors. At gelato shops, I look for interesting flavors. They have that here with a nice mix of creamy gelatos and fruity sorbets. I went with the cookies & cream (not particularly innovative but an all-time classic) and the cherry chip (definitely interesting). You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Solid gelato for sure.

So after a recent date night, we stopped in and had one of the best ice cream shop experiences we've had. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with us because we asked for... probably a dozen different samples . Every flavor was better than the last, and with so many options sounding amazing, we kept trying more and more until we could finally narrow it down. We ended up getting a flight to share with four flavors: Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Coffee & Love Nuts, Freckled Mint Chocolate Chip, and Coconut Cherry Pie with Almond Crust. Even after narrowing it down to those four, we easily could have gone with another handful of flavors. But after trying everything, we both agreed that the Coconut Cherry Pie and Coffee & Love Nuts were our favorites. The flavors are so unique, but more importantly, the ingredients and combinations actually work together really well. Everything tasted high quality and thoughtfully made, and it's honestly hard to compare it to your typical ice cream shop. We were also given a waffle cone to enjoy with the ice cream, and that was just another little detail that made the experience even better. By the end of it, my wife completely understood why I had been raving about this place after my first visit. We both agreed that Salt & Straw is absolutely worth coming back to, and we've already been telling people they need to check it out. Definitely a new favorite date-night stop for us!

We finally decided to stop in and see what all the hype was about--and now we get it! The second we opened the door, the incredible smell of freshly made waffle cones wrapped around us like a warm, heavenly hug. Seriously, that smell alone will get you! We sampled several ice cream flavors, but my absolute favorite was the Honey Lavender. You can taste the sweetness of the honey with just the perfect touch of lavender--so creamy and delicious. Chef's kiss!

We weren't even in the mood for ice cream, but when I saw they had a vegan option for my longtime vegan fiancé, it was definitely going to happen. Not sure how often the flavors rotate, but that day the vegan option was a super dark rich delightful chocolate option. Oh my... I don't know how they do it! I've tasted other of his vegan treats before, and they are always very icy. This one was dense and creamy dreamy. The young man who helped us - apologies I asked his name and forgot it - was so excited about the ice creams and let us try different flavors. Everything was really wonderful, specifically his great attitude and unending smile on a Saturday late afternoon. I thought I was settled on a flavor, then I tried that ridiculously unique Shake n Fries flavor that has a slightly salty vanilla? base with pieces of malt balls and french fries in it. I don't even usually eat ice cream, and I was crazy for it! We each got the small size, but there are anything but small. Really nice portions, and a really memorable experience. Great job, Cream of the Crop!

Their seasonal/holiday flavors were Gingerbread, Christmas Tree, and Mexican Hot Chocolate. We sampled all three, and it was really difficult to narrow down which two I wanted for a split scoop. I finally chose Gingerbread and Christmas Tree in a Small cup. I think the Small was $6, and it was A LOT of ice cream! (See photo for reference) I devoured the entire thing - it definitely hit the spot and left me feeling so full. The two employees were very kind and patient with my group of 5. We'll definitely be back, and I can't wait to see what seasonal flavors they'll offer next!

You'll find everything from classics to creative favorites like Michigan Pot Hole, Rush Hour, Cookie Jar, Puppy Chow, Strawberry Pretzel Dessert, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Sea Turtle. My personal favorite? The Sea Turtle. Rich caramel ice cream loaded with chocolate-covered caramel turtles and swirls of caramel throughout. If you're a caramel and chocolate fan, this one is an absolute must-try! The ice cream was incredibly smooth, rich, and creamy, with generous mix-ins in every scoop. The staff was welcoming and patient while everyone sampled flavors, the shop was spotless, and the fun atmosphere makes it a perfect stop for families, date nights, or simply treating yourself after dinner. Overall Rating: 5/5 Petersen's isn't just another ice cream shop--it's a destination for anyone who loves premium ice cream and wants a fun place to enjoy it. Scoop, scoop, hooray! I'm the 400th review for this business on Yelp…read more Since trying Handel's at previous Yelp events, I've had on my radar to try at one of their locations. Especially since my boyfriend loves ice cream. Today we made a lunch date when he was visiting town, complete with ice cream to cool us down on this warm July day in Arizona. We opted to eat in my car with air conditioning, though they have bench seating outside. In cooler months, I'm sure that seating is nice to sit at to enjoy your treat. What We Ordered: - Monkey Business scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: My boyfriend throughly enjoyed and said it was very banana forward; which is a plus for him. I personally hate banana, so he had something for once that I didn't take a girlfriend bite out of. - S'mores scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: Very interesting to have the base be graham cracker, but I really enjoyed. Love the little chocolate bits to add a crunch as you eat, though the mini marshmallows have a weird texture to me. Still a solid scoop, and I'll try other flavors when we return. Definitely looking forward to the location opening on Signal Butte, but glad we didn't wait until that opened to try. Delicious and I'm sure I'll visit the new location opening by my house.

First, the location itself is very small and cramped inside, and there isn't any outdoor seating, which made it difficult to enjoy our ice cream. The biggest disappointment here was the customer service. My friend ordered a milkshake for her two toddlers to share and politely asked if the extra half could be poured into a second cup. The employee had to ask the manager, who immediately said no. My friend explained that other Handel's locations have happily done this before, and even offered to pay for the extra cup. The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, between the cramped space and the poor experience with the manager, we won't be returning to this location.
