Baskin Robbins is so close to me and I had never gone before. My son and his friend wanted ice cream so we met them over at Baskin Robbins in Queen Creek around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy, a few people were in there. We didn't have to wait long at all. It's pretty straight to the point, nothing fancy or elegant, just ice cream. I was sad that they didn't have soft serve because that's my favorite. My son got two scoops. One of the mama's cookie, which is a brown sugar and cookie flavored vanilla ice cream and also the cookie monster, which is blue in color and also has chunks of cookie in it, with a cone on top. We wanted a waffle cone bowl but the guy working there told us they were soft and showed us. I'm glad he did because it did look pretty soggy. It was delicious. My friend got the cookies and cream and her daughter got cookies and cream and strawberry, two scoops. Altogether it was about $20. Not too bad. The portions are moderate. The ice cream tasted good. The place was clean, parking is ample in the parking lot, the whole experience was convenient. Prices were a little higher than expected, but not bad. Ice cream tasted good, ice cream is ice cream, right? I would go back and get a milkshake because those look great! You can also order cakes, sundaes, the usual suspects. Several months ago, my family stopped going here because one of the servers gave me a cup full of whipped cream when I ordered a sundae. Literally. No ice cream at all. He was the kind of kid no respectable business would ever hire. Fast forward to tonight, almost a year later, we decided to give this place a try again. They charge 5.99 for a two scoop sundae. I got home and had 1/4 of a cup of ice cream and mostly whipped cream again. I called and they told me this is their new policy.. two CHILD sized scoops go into the sundae's. For 5.99. I can get a packed pint for 7.49. So for $31 total because I tipped like a dummy without looking into the packed bag first, we will never come back. It's one thing to up-charge due to "inflation," it's another to take advantage of your customers and serve portions not big enough for even a two year old. read more

But upon looking around at this place, I could see why the reviews are so bad! This location is filthy! The floors are disgusting and there was HAIR wrapped around the sprinklers, how safe. I will insert a picture of it. An inspection must be done, this is disgusting. These poor employees were awfully nice to us, but they seemed unsatisfactory in their work. I visited this location on 6-14-22 and ordered a 1 scoop sundae. The young lady that was making is was in training (which was fine and she was doing a great job) she put a scoop and started to put hot fudge on it, when a lady that was sitting in the lobby (I am sure was the manager) went back there told her to get another cup and scoop a smaller scoop in it. I'm thinking the trainee scooped to big of a scoop. Then the manager threw the original scoop away. What a waste! She could of had a training moment without wasting the ice cream. Stopped in for ice cream after dinner. My husband was craving butter pecan. We get there and over half of the ice creams are melted. I mentioned to the server maybe she should close the lids, all of your ice cream is melting. She said no we're restocking, so we let the ice cream sit out so it's easier to scoop. My husband passed. I got pistachio, and we drove home. With in blocks my ice cream is melting down the side of the cone like it's 120 degrees out. This is the 2nd time they served us melted ice cream. We have had the yogurt jungle, but c'mon, that's like hankerin' for a big Thanksgiving turkey and having to settle for tofurkey. The store provides a wide selection - the traditional scooped ice cream, in addition to soft serve and the 31 Below shake. Very kid friendly with child size items, novelties like the baseball helmet sundae and the occassional free cone day. In honor of the upcoming football season, the flavor for September is Quarterback Crunch. I went with the oreo sundae and it was excellent ($4.99). Fairly standard operation as far as chains go, but I expect the store to do well in the limited selection Queen Creek area. read more

My daughter likes the cotton candy ice cream (ick) and my wife tends to go after a sundae of some sort. The options are endless here- mix ice creams, put it in a cone or waffle bowl, add some syrups or other toppings- customize your creation! Staff is young and always friendly. Store is clean and small. There are a few small tables inside to enjoy your treat. There's also 2-3 tables outside on the "patio" if the weather is nice. You can also invest in drink options here- a milkshake, hot chocolate, sodas- pick your poison. I did notice that BR is getting better at offering healthier treats. I love BR, have been going for years. Took my kids down tonight to the Queen creek BR for ice cream and ordered double cookies & cream on a waffle cone. It was creamy (completely NOT frozen) what so ever. The teen working there said that's just the way it is so it's easier for them to scoop. LOL. We got a craving as a family late last night and at 9:40 looked up hours and noticed they close at 10pm. We (family) jumped in car and raced over hoping to get a good reception. 10 mins before closing you never know what to expect. Closed doors?
