Don't bother! I had placed an order 4 days in advance for a customized cake which I also paid for in advance and got a receipt confirmation. When I went to pickup the poor clerk ran back and forth from the front of the store to the back for 15 minutes while trying to hide the fact that they didn't prepare my order. Then the manager comes out and says "don't worry I will deliver the cake to you whenever you want" as if I was picking up a cake today for a party next week! This guy was so careless about a very special event cake I had ordered that it annoyed me even more. He actually said "people make mistakes", they surely didn't make a mistake charging my card! I will NEVER bring my business there again. Poor service, careless manager, and they didn't even attempt to make it right properly. Basically just saying well people make mistakes was going to make it ok. And while I was there, the line was out the door! Two of the slowest people I've ever seen in retail. Please get your ice cream from the local supermarket and save yourself a lot of aggravation. read more

Ordered a cake for my sister for her 26 birthday and ordered it as red velvet cake and they gave me yellow cake.

Idk if I just have the worst luck in America, but yet again this was an experience I could have done without. I decide to both watch my calorie intake as well as my wallet by ordering a kids size. I order the mint chocolate chocolate chip and immediately get told there is no more mint. This completely throws me off and to not be difficult and stare at the other choices for 10 hours I just order french vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, brownie and some fudge. After receiving my order I get charged $5.72. This price completely astounds me seeing as I had ordered a kids size, the cheapest on the menu. Not being one to argue or make a fuss, I just give my card and she swipes away. I take a seat next to my friend who is happily enjoying her regular priced ice cream like a little kid. I still can't get off my mind that I was swindled. I look at the prices and see that even for a create your own or a signature I was still overcharged. My base price was more than the posted prices and with the "add your own" charge and tax my bank account was pretty much emptied. To add insult to injury my happy go lucky friend notifies me that there is in fact mint ice cream available. All in all, I hate coldstone. It's overpriced, terrible for you, and the fat chick with glasses is my new least favorite person. Next time I'll just skip the ice cream altogether or if anything get carvel. I was taking my friends out for ice cream meaning I am the one who's paying and the guys who was so called helping us under minded me making me feel disgusting. Not very good service. Manager was friendly but worker was not. Order came up to 16$ and it wasnt good. I ordered a gotta have it with a mix in along with my husband. Both of our sundaes had mixins but was not MIXED in. It was simply thrown in the middle. How annoying it is to eat plain ice cream and then get to the middle and have a bunch of toppings and then plain ice cream at the bottom? This is something my 5 year old couldve created. Not happy. I have a LOT to say about the experience I just had. My girlfriend and I waited outside for about 10 minutes just to get inside the actual place. I understand that it's because of Covid, but the service speed was atrocious. Then we get into the store after 10 minutes. The music was BLASTING rap music, I couldn't even think. I even heard one of the employees say to another "put this song on, I love it" and the two of them proceeded to go to their phone to change the song WHILE THEY HAD CUSTOMERS WAITING!! All the ice cream looked like it was liquid, so please for the love of god fix your freezers. By the time I got home I had to put my ice cream in the freezer or else I would be drinking my ice cream. The people working there were very nasty and loud. They didn't even seem like they knew what they were doing. When we paid, it seemed like they charged us incorrectly because I got a large cup of ice cream and my girlfriend got a large shake and it turned out to be $18. Either way, that is WAY too expensive. I thought Carvel was bad with their prices... It was seriously the worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. They did not have anything under control. They took forever, the music was blasting, their ice cream was melted; I seriously have nothing good to say about this place. I am NEVER going here ever again. i reviewed another cole stone in times square and i guess i can run through here. this location is open until midgnight which is awesome for those who wanna get a kinda late night ice cream binge. the line moves pretty fast as i have been there at night time. i dont know how it is in the day time but the staff is very nice and of course i say again get the birthday cake remix :) the parking sucks around the area you might have to go a lil down the block or across the street or the citibank if you can really quick. read more

Maybe it's just this location, but I found myself working too hard to keep it from dripping on my shirt to fully enjoy it. It's overpriced and over-hyped. I just wanted an ice cream cone with a creative flavor and some nuts on the top. They put it on a slab and fool around with it like a pizza until it's half melted, then they slap it on a cone and charge me more money than it's worth. I don't get it... Apparently the experience is made for people who want to go with others, buy cups and sundaes with all sorts of wacky toppings and mixings, then tip the counter people so they sing a funny song. The workers are lazy, shakes and ice cream are good but workers look and act miserable. We ordered 2 brownie batter shakes with peanut butter but before I could say peanut butter the girl was all the way across the store. Didn't end up putting it in and when we asked she didn't offer to put it in just said oh and rang us up. Very disappointing. We ordered the largest cake for a baby shower to be picked up promptly at 11:00. With a restaurant full of guests, I waited for 25 minutes for the cake to be finished and boxed. That was bad enough, but when I opened the box at the party, the color and decor was nothing like we discussed. My wife just wanted to cry. The only downfall about this place is that the parking sucks balls big time. And this cold stone establishment is very dirty. They usually have 6 workers working but lately they have slimmed down to 2 workers which are taking orders and making ice cream plus ringing up orders. This coldstone is the best out of other places fast and excellent service despite the upkeep of the establishment and the lines are always out the door on weekends. So this is why I gave them 6 stars they don't charge $1.50 for extra toppings like the coldstone on Jericho tkpe near St. John's University. read more

This Coldstone has been going to hell for awhile now. This is now the 4th time I have gone in for a shake and they have not been able to complete the order. The first and now this most recent time were due to having no milk? How does an ice cream shop not have milk. Are they kidding? That's like McDonalds not having fries. The other 2 times were due to not having chocolate ice cream (which I can somewhat understand) and lastly just one night where we were told they're "just not making shakes". Tonight seemed to be some machine malfunction as no ice cream was in the case and everyone was scurrying around to the back. The employees are also the most unhappy group of people I have encountered which makes all these experiences even more frustrating. After 4 times I think I'm officially over this location. Sad because it's the closest one and Coldstone in general is delicious. The lack of service and basics however makes it no longer worth it. read more

Ive had the worst customer service there last night. They had three people behind the counter, and two were fussing over the register. The line was very long. I got there at 910pm and left at 940pm?! Only to get to the front and be told there were no more oreos to add in to my icecream?! For such "kosher" and Pricey icecream, the least they could have done was have the stuff! Standing for half an hour online, and then not even getting the icecream the way i wanted it! Then I realized on my way home, that the cashier did not even give me a receipt!? Recently moved in the area and decided to try out the hyped up Coldstone Creamery.The ice cream was ok but the scent of marijuana was almost unbareable. One of the workers was clearly high and stunk up the entire store. I really hope the boss reads this and takes action because the smell was just unpleasant. read more

I must start off by saying that I contemplated leaving this review since yesterday because I am a consistent customer at this Coldstone location and have never experienced an issue until yesterday. I came in around 8:45PM and there had only been one other customer in the store at the time that was being helped by a taller gentleman. There were two other employees behind the counter so I assumed I'd be helped somewhat quickly. Another gentleman with glasses had been refilling ice cream when I came in and continued to do so which I didn't mind. The problem arose when another employee, a girl with blonde hair, had been on her phone, looked up and made eye contact with me and immediately looked away and came to the front to clean the front windows of the store. I gave it a few minutes before asking the employees if anyone is going to help me at which point the gentleman with the glasses apologized and helped me. When I was done ordering my one ice cream, he told me not to worry about paying and apologized again for having to wait. I'm leaving this review not with the intentions of making the business look bad, but rather to inform the business owner of the employee's behavior, specifically the woman that walked away from me when I walked in ready to order. read more
