Needed a quick treat last night, so went on doordash around 10pm when a serious craving kicked in. Ordered a strawberry banana yellow cake milkshake with whipped cream on top (don't judge me). It was pretty good. Only problem I have with cold stone is that their fruit is always super frozen with even freezer burn on it sometimes, so my milkshake tasted more "slushy" than creamy, and the little strawberry pieces were hard as ice - not super enjoyable. No complaints over here even though my order wasn't ready when I got there. I waited like 5 minutes tops and bought candles which they should have given me the option to purchase online. Had to go around the block twice to get parking and it's a pandemic but again no complaints what so ever. My cake was fresh and perfect. So many flavors to choose from! I used to be surprised that there was a long long line here at night...I thought it was because of Lynbrook theatre. To my surprise, the theatre has been closed for over a year now and people will still pile into Cold Stone at night. I like what i've gotten here. There are a few meter spots outside. I prefer to walk here and pretend to have walked off some calories. Like most ice cream shops, patrons can sample flavors. Customer service here has been great every time I visit. Be ready to stand on line for a while though. Since the menu is pretty big and very customizable, it takes a while to do each order. Their decorated waffle cones look sooooo good. The staff are energetic and happy even at night. There are a few high chairs for 3-4 people near the door and a huge fridge with cakes to go. read more

I then asked her to please blend the shake finely because I have a daughter with texture issues, she said okay. Then blended for another 5 seconds. Was very disappointed in my 2 orders from this cold stone place . I ordered 2 cups of Halloween icecream and specifically , I made a note to add the extra toppings separately, guess what they didn't instead my icecream was black and melted upon taking out of the bag , it was not only upsetting but really disappointing I paid close to 45 plus tax tip everything even for faster service . The mess , I had to clean from opening one of those was rolls of paper towels It was just melted black on the table around the cup , I was so upset , I forgot to take pictures of the awful presentation of my so called ice cream It was obvious the person that prepared ice cream didn't care , just everything in one black globe of a mess , at least I was hoping the second one was better , it wasn't even looking attractive enough to taste . Went about 20 mins before they closed at 12:00 PM on a Sunday night. The open light was on and employees were still inside, google advertisement page said they close at 12:00. Employee just slashed across her throat saying they're closed. Business owner: Update your google business page if you don't close at 12, and turn off your open light if you're closed. They have a solid selection of flavors here. That's a huge plus. The waffle cones look great. The store is clean. However, I can tell management/owners have taken the heart right out of the brand. Since this is the only location in the immediate area, I would love to see the Owners of this establishment respect the brand a lot more than they clearly do. The customer service here isn't really good. The staff behind the counter look super miserable . They don't greet you, or ask you if you are ready to order. They just look at you until you tell them your ready to order. They don't acknowledge your presence at all. I guess it depends on the time of day, but I went there twice after 10pm and the same people with the same dull attitudes have served me. Cold Stone ice cream will always be Cold Stone Ice cream, but the service should be up to par. I'm back again with the remix. (starts dancing) I can't stand when there is a cheap employee who gives dime size toppings. My guy was not there and I should have known I was not going to get what I wanted. I ordered the Apple Pie A La Cold Stone (french vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, graham cracker pie crust, apple pie filling and caramel). Don't ask me why I remember the toppings, I am just about that life. The employee had the audacity to pour fudge on the ice cream... Me: I screamed "What are thosssssse?!" This time around I decided to try the, "Caramel Chocolate Cheesecake" which I call it the Triple C's lol. If you are a chocolate fan as I am, you will love it. Has the smooth texture from the cheesecake small hints of caramel and all around chocolate flavor. I also added some Kit Kats into my mixture of ice cream for a crunchy texture. Only downfall that this location has is the parking. It is very hard to find parking. This location is also small so it's very busy a lot of times. He made all the substitutions and special requests so that I got exactly what I wanted. In general this location has more flavors (ie Oreo creme filling ice cream) than the one on Crossbay and way more generous with the portion sizes. Let me just say that before today I thoroughly enjoyed coming here. The young workers are pleasant and talented. This review speaks to the white man with a man pony tail (he told me his name was John but I'm not sure if he was being serious), that appears to be the manager. Before I get into today's incident please allow me to state that I've seen this individual here previously and he always gives off a vibe that he feels too good to be working there. He also never has on a net despite having hair, which always made me weary about him preparing my food. Today I went in after work for a snack and John prepared my order. In front of me was a black Woman who informed the gentleman preparing her order that she wanted the sprinkles on top not in her order. The not so gentle young man responded that he "asked her three times." John then chimed in and says that "she should not be on her phone" and it's "rude to be on the phone while you're ordering food." ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!!!! So, it isn't rude to just do what you want to a customer's food, but it is rude to do what most people do in the free world--text? So unprofessional on so many levels. Needless to say I walked out disgusted at how this young lady was spoken too. I informed John of my dissatisfaction and the young lady walked out behind me, to which he yelled "bye guys." I do believe his behavior was reflective of how he feels about black customers so I will not be back. John's behavior is disgraceful and as unfit for leadership as it is for humanity.
