Think twice before you order a birthday cake from Cold Stone in Longmont.
Shawn L.

Think twice before you order a birthday cake from Cold Stone in Longmont. We ordered a birthday cake online for pickup at 6pm the night before our daughter's party. We arrive at 12pm the next day and there is no cake. According to the Cold Stone staff none of the cakes ordered the prior day where prepared. Even though they knew this they still did not fix it or try contacting us to tell us there was an issue. Instead, the staff ask me to come back in an hour and they will have it prepared and decorated. This extra trip made me late for my own daughter's birthday party, but I couldn't let my daughter have no cake at all. An hour later I travel back to the store only to pickup a cake that looks like it was decorated by my 5yo. At least the staff were profusely apologetic and refunded the cost of the cake. That's the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. Regardless, this was very disappointing and not the experience I expected. I hope this review is helpful.

Very nice staff but the girl with long hair was training the other. Her hair was not pulled back while she made our dessert. Yuck!

Not sure why, but the Sunday was absolutely flavorless. Really strange. Staff help was a little subpar. I don't think I'd revisit.

This is hands down my favorite ice cream place! I love their Oreo crust flavor! I just wish you could get local flavors for delivery.

Sunday afternoon and they have no cones made at all. :( Also, toasted coconut is not made. Disappointing.

We've never had Northern style Thai food so this was an interesting experience!…read more Items we ordered (as of 6/2025): - Cream cheese wontons - $8.99 - Not bad although the wonton itself was thicker than expected. - Pad Thai (with chicken) - $15.99 - While it's not the typical Pad Thai I've had in the past (the sauce is different), I must say that I still enjoyed it. Chicken was great as it wasn't overcooked (and thus not dry). I got no spice but for future reference, some spice would really add to this dish! - Drunken Noodle (with seafood) - $16.99 + $6 - We thought this dish was okay. The sauce was more watery than expected but the seafood and noodles were cooked perfectly. Despite ordering a spice level of 5, we were surprised as to how non-spicy it was only to find out when the bill came that it was mistakenly entered as a spice level of 2. Fortunately the spice condiments available to us helped in adding a sufficient level of spice! - Sweet and Spicy Tamarind Ribs - $17.99 - This was the highlight of our meal! Meat was crisp and cooked perfectly and you can really taste the spice in this dish (yay)!. If you like the taste of tamarind then you will 100% enjoy this dish. Would highly recommend. The decor was unique and we really enjoyed the ambiance this place offered! If you like Thai food then make sure to give this place a try!

That translates directly to every dish, authentic taste (that definitely helps me less homesick!) and beautifully presented. Our server was very attentive and polite yet friendly, we also had the pleasure of Annie (the owner) visiting our table for a little chat, very charming lady! You can tell she puts her heart into every detail. If you're craving for highly authentic Thai dishes, look no further and go! Save some room for dessert as well :) their Anchan ice cream is delicious both for your eyes and your tummy!

I was a little irritated, as it was slightly breezy, but I got over that quick once I tried the food. We had the steak frites, the Thai pork tacos, an old fashioned, and the chocolate decadence for dessert. The steak frites were great- the truffle fries were seasoned with garlic, and served with a great cream sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. Super tender. But the tacos absolutely stole the show. Sweet and spicy with a touch of crunch, and the potato fries were stellar too! The old fashioned really let the whiskey shine, with just a touch of citrus. I think I would try a different dessert though- the decadence was good but didn't quite live up to the tacos. The interior was decorated very cute- mid century modern mixed with plants and some neon signs that said cute things. Our server was excellent- very friendly and on top of it. Overall, I would unquestionably come back next time I am in the area, and suggest you go there too. It's totally worth it.

I'm sure one of the crackheads walking and down main street would have given me better service. And 4 bucks to upgrade to fries!?!? What is going on at this place? Highly recommend do not come here. It's a rip off. Service is awful. Terrible attitude. No service, no tip.

If you're lucky enough to go in May you'll experience Mai Tai. Every couple of days in May a different Mai Tai is created by a staff member. The one I had last night was one of the best drinks I've ever tasted. It's only until tonight and then returns on Wednesday and then it's gone. I'm hoping they put it on the regular menu. Davíd's Plantano Mai Tai is inspired by his Dominican roots. So good! If you get a stamp for every Mai Tai you get a prize. The prize really is the ability to try so many different kind of Mai Thais! The restaurant also has a nice outdoor patio, but we like dining and drinking inside because of the cool decor. There's even a bar that looks like a ship! We love Swaylo's!
