I decided to come get some ice cream after I came out from the Lodi 12 Stadium Cinema. I ordered the cheesecake fantasy. It comes with blueberries, strawberries, and graham crackers mixed into the ice cream. It was very delicious. The berries were sweet yet tart. The ice cream as a whole was refreshing and hit the spot. I also ordered the cookie Minster. It was very yummy. The mint ice cream paired perfectly with the Oreo cookies which totally hit the spot for mint and chocolate lovers. The service was bland, not friendly not rude. There are 2 girls that work here that clearly hate their job. I get it working in customer service sucks but if you don't want people to be rude to you, you probably shouldn't be rude to them. The ice cream is definitely delicious, I usually get a mixture of different scoops and add a few toppings on top. The staff generally are pretty quiet and rarely make eye contact with you or try and talk. Staff always seem to be different each time we go to. Maybe high turnover? The tables usually aren't clean, and there's little room in there to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. Prices are quite unreasonable, I think it's a dollar per topping or around there since whenever we go we always end up paying 20+ dollars for 2" like its" which like I said taste good but isn't worth that much considering how little the toppings are. read more

I find myself going to this Cold Stone less and less lately. While the ice cream usually hits the spot, our last visit confirmed that it's time to find a new ice cream place. This one just hasn't held up like it used to. The ice cream was good, but the toppings were inedible. We usually enjoy adding fruits and other toppings, but we ended up having to scrape them off or pull them out--they were absolutely gross. My partner got the cheesecake ice cream, which has long been his favorite, but after two bites, he couldn't eat any more. Overall, if you're just coming for plain ice cream with no toppings, you'll still enjoy it. However, I highly recommend either avoiding the toppings or finding a new place altogether. I will NEVER purchase from this cold stone in Lodi EVER! They higher than most unprofessional people! I purchased a cake for my son's birthday in October. I asked for a simple white plain cake with the red border. Nothing else. A girl that works there called me and told me that she messed up my cake and put pink instead of red on the very same day as his birthday. I simply told her that I did not want pink because it's for a boy's birthday, and I asked for red. She said she will have to just scrape off the pink and reapply the red border. I told her as long as it looks professional I will pick up. She promised to make sure that my Cake had a red border. I had a family member go pick up the cake because it was already paid for. And it looked awful! She did not do what she said she was going to do fix the cake! She gave me the cake, pink border, and all smeared. It was a Worst Looking cake that I've ever purchased. Very unpresentable that I did not put out on his birthday! I had to go to nothing Bundt cakes in Purchase to Cakes for his birthday. When I called to speak to the manager or owner, the that messed up my Cake told me that she would have them call me and she did not. When I called again. She told me the owner and manager do not want to speak to you and hung up on me.. when I called back again, she told me to come down to the store so she can fight me face to face! How ghetto can somebody be? How do people hire low people like that? For that I will never go to cold stone or refer anybody to cold stone again! Ordered a cake for pick up and after a hour and half of waiting, I go to pick to be told cake is not in stock, what is the pint of giving contact information if they won't call you they don't have your cake? When I asked for a refund for the cake she said their system doesn't let them do that and I have to do it online; told her there's no option for refund online and then she suddenly says that she can do the refund? Very dirty store. Out of several toppings. My ice cream was melting before I even got it to my mouth. The lights appear that the owner can't afford their energy bill because most of them were off. The young female employee obviously hates her job because she moved at the speed of a turtle, stared off into space, had zero personality and seemed bothered to make ice cream. I would give zero stars if I could. The people who work here (young girl and a young man) obviously don't like their job. They look very unhappy and take their time making your ice cream even if there's multiple customers in the store. The young lady was rude and started to help someone else while she was making my order so by the time I got my order the ice cream was melting. This place needs a better manager or needs to be shut down completely. It looks like a dark unpleasant place inside, they don't even greet you when you come in. Went there on 5/15 around 6 pm. there was a couple that did NOT have a mask and they were not confronted about it. Then a Hispanic kid came in and the male worker immediately kicked him out for not Having a mask (same worker that helped the couple without a mask). The different treatment really bothered me so I'm not ever going there again. there should be NO exceptions to their rules. read more

if i could zero star this place i would but unfortunately i can't so this evening my husband and I went to the shop for a nice desert after brunch and the service was just horrible. 2 teenagers were rushing us out the door with in 30 seconds. Didn't even give us a comfortable amount of time to decide wether we wanted a sugar cone. Perhaps they should have more decency then to sit on the counters while customers order. Super frustrating, I went last night for ice cream and they had the door locked 15 minutes prior to closing! I was banging on the door and the worker wasn't even making eye contact with me. It's been along time since I've been to cold stone and tonight will probably be the last time I will ever go in there again. The girl that helped my friend and I was so rude. I've never seen somebody with the worst customer service. My friend asked how much a container to go was in the girl didn't answer she just went and grab the sign and turned it towards us. Since my friend knew what she wanted I had her go first when her coworker was free she asked if my friend and I were together which both of us said we are not paying together so I told her my order. This has by far been the worst experience I've ever had; immediately upon entering this facility we were rudely "greeted" and stared at for entering 40 minutes before closing. While I'd like to give more than 2 stars, I simply can't - their prices are just too high for ice cream. Let's be honest, ice cream is ice cream. What you are paying for at CSC is the glitz and show - to watch someone take out a cold stone cutting board, get out two oversized spatulas and watch them handfold the ice creams together. That's basically it! As a previous poster had mentioned, no where to sit down. We ended up taking our ice cream outside and eating it as it was too crowded with the people that were there. Plus, they were a bit stingy on the napkin giving. We each got ONE small napkin and we were heading outside into the heat to eat this. I asked for some more napkins and we each got ONE more. I looked at the clerk and pointed out the price we just paid for this ice cream and told him I wanted MORE napkins. He huffed around a bit and then finally gave us about 2 more napkins each. That small part of the service and his attitude pretty much killed my desire to ever want to go back. As we ate our ice cream on the street, we came to the very logical conclusion that we would've been better off going to the grocery store and buying our own high-end ice cream and eating it at home. We definitely woud've gotten more for the price we paid at CSC. Heck...I can throw in nuts and cherries at home and fold them together with two spatulas if that is the kind of show that is needed. Absolutely horrible service and product! All I wanted was a love it scoop of ice cream, and what I received was messy, disgusting, inedible slop. The ice cream was melting over the cup and it was obviously just thrown together. Also, I walked in and nobody greeted me. I stood there trying to make conversation with the server and she just looked so frustrated and unhappy that she wouldn't even reciprocate conversation. Look, I understand after a long day that making conversation can be difficult but come on. At least be nice! The woman who helped was named Selena I think, and she has to be new. There Banana with brownies is by far my favorite. I come here at least once a week if not more and I have never had a problem with the night shift girls. I wanted to give this place zero stars.... I used to be a huge fan of cold stone, but this place has gone down hill fast.... I always order cakes online for pretty much every occasion.... I sometimes will have an issue with the ordering site and have to call in and ask them to hold it.... I get it... they don't want to write on it until I show up and pay... totally understandable.... well this is not the first time that I have shown up and they didn't have the cakes on hold.... which means someone lied to me about having them in the first place. All I ask is for honesty... tell me you aren't going to hold them so I don't go on with my day thinking it's taken care of and it's not. I will not be returning to this store.... the service has gone down hill.... the guy was standing in the back that lied to me and didn't even have the common courtesy to apologize. I asked to speak to the owner and they wouldn't even get her on the phone.... I own a business and if there's any issues I tell my employees to call me so I can make it right. The ice cream is good, the service is crap. I hadn't been to Cold Stone in years, so I was kind of excited to indulge in some of their delectable goodness. We arrived around 9:40 and the place closes at 10:00. By the way that we were treated you would have thought that walked in at 10 on the dot (which still should have been okay). There were at least two people working but only one girl was working the store front, the other sounded busy cleaning in the back. When we walked up we were not greeted by a friendly face. Hell, we weren't greeted at all. All that we got was a young girl who stood silently behind the counter and stared at us while we looked over the menu. She never offered a sample, a suggestion, or even a smile. She appeared annoyed that we were there and made our ice cream selections as quickly as possible. By the time we were done ordering, there were about 8 people in line behind us. I have no idea how they were treated but I can't imagine it was any better than us.
