I am going to start off by saying that I have a severe allergy to cinnamon and am anaphylaxis. It's pumpkin spice season and I understand a lot of people like it. I went in here last night with my boyfriend and told them about my allergy and was so happy when the guy said they take allergies very seriously. He go a whole new station out from the back with new utensils and make mine special in a separate area where there was no cinnamon contamination. Thank you for not making me feel bad. I can dig it. It satisfies the sweet tooth and does exactly what ice cream is supposed to do! Stopped in and tried a few different flavors of ice cream before deciding on what I wanted to build mine from. I ended up mixing two flavors of ice cream together (oh yeah, you can do that!), I had pumpkin cheesecake and cake batter mixed together. Then, I added in a brownie. This was like a form of cookies and cream on steroids. So delicious and absolutely full of guilt! While I super enjoyed the taste of it, I must admit that it is very rich/heavy ice cream. I ordered a "love it" which is their medium size, and honestly, wish I just ordered a kid's size. You really don't need that much of it because it's so flavorful and rich. So my suggestion (and this could just be a personal preference) is to treat yourself but within reason. Maybe it is possible to have "too much of a good thing." Just a thought. Etc. Love cold Stone Creamery, but the service tonight was so awful I redownloaded the Yelp app just to let others know. My friend and I both got a small milkshake and were there over 20 minutes. No one working there moved with any purpose and the 3 of them all did everything together which slowed down the process even more. 2 we're not wearing gloves either which was just unsettling on top of it. I will give two stars for the ice cream itself. My two children and I walked into complete silence. I have never gone in anywhere with three people at the counter, one coming out of the back, and not one says, "hi" or "what can I get you?" It was very odd. None of them wanted to be there, or wanted us there. Our ice cream was served and while paying he said, "don't put your card in yet, it is asking for a tip. You do not need to leave one, but we appreciate it." Lol. My daughter wants a job and would be an awesome employee. It is too bad they do not hire younger kids. The ice cream is usually good, but the service I just received was shocking to say the least. The lady working behind the counter was very nice and greeted me when I came in. However the man working the register is where I had an issue. I stopped in quickly and paid with cash, and the person working the register just dropped my change into their tip jar without even asking if I wanted to tip. I'm a very good tipper, and I believe that all food service staff usually deserve their tips. I work in food service myself and tips are always appreciated when WILLINGLY given by the customer. Not even asking if I wanted to tip and just assuming that I would give them my change as a tip really rubbed me the wrong way. After dropping it into the tip jar he asked if I wanted a receipt, but said nothing about my change, as if I didn't see him just drop it into their tips... Now I'm not going to be pressed over a few dollars and some change, and I didn't ask for it back because I think the lady who was working deserves it and I'm not going to take from her tips due to the other person's actions. I probably would have given them that change anyways if I had been given the opportunity to make that choice. However, the whole principle of not even asking if I want to leave a tip or allowing me to tip the staff myself is very disrespectful. Do better and learn to ask if someone would like to leave a tip before assuming you're entitled to it. Due to this interaction I won't be back! read more

I don't go to Coldstone that regularly, but I'll occasionally pop in to grab my boyfriend some ice cream on the way home. Everytime I come in, I stand there for 5-10 minutes with 1 or 2 people ahead of me, 4 people working, and no one acknowledging my existence. By the time anyone says anything to me, it's just asking my order. I personally can't eat the ice cream because I have a gluten and nut allergy and the counter isn't wiped down at all in between mixes. Last time I added toppings I had a horrible reaction, so now if I DO get ice cream, it's without anything mixed in to keep my reactions under control. Anyways, the customer service could really use a revamp and I think some sort of system to keep there from being cross contamination would be super helpful. To whoever manages this page/location: My friend and I came into the store at 8:40pm, there were at least 20 people in front of us, and as our wait became close to 1 hour, there were easily another 12-15 people behind us after we were helped. Your employee Kryssi deserves much praise for being the ONLY employee helping customers. She was kind and compassionate to each and every person in a time of increased stress with such a high influx of customers. I am deeply frustrated and upset that the second employee working tonight (Darienne?) did not offer to help a single customer in the hour that we waited. Super bummed, I ordered the really cool looking Super Mario Bros cake for my nephews birthday and got this super boring blue cake with sprinkles. When I picked it up and said "oh wait, I ordered a Mario cake" the kid looked at me and said "oh we don't have any of the toys so...". Nothing else that's it. I suggested she find the toys to put on top of it by calling another store. The store half an hour away has it. Now I have to go there tomorrow to pick up the toys. No discount was offered or apology or solution. I am most peeved that no one thought to call me ahead of time and explain that they did not have the toppers to go with the cake I ordered and payed in advance for and offer a solution. Instead I got there and had to figure out the solution for them. In the grand scheme is it the end of the world? I was very disappointed with my experience at cold Stone creamery tonight. I walked in and immediately was yelled at for not having a mask and when I asked if they had any they said no and I need to leave the store. Nobody else in the store was wearing mass and behind the counter they were not social distancing. I was very disappointed with the customer service. After I got a mask and went back in I was not serviced for a couple minutes. When I received my ice cream it was half full and was slammed on the counter. I've never had a bad experience at cold Stone and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of service I have received tonight and will not be coming back to this location. read more

You can easily get yourself in trouble at this place, because everything looks so good and the sizes appear to be smaller than they really are. Their pre-made combinations are an easy way to taste bud heaven and don't require any decisions, which I enjoy because I don't want to think after a long day at work. It is not inexpensive though; you'll pay about $8-$10 for a small, simple ice cream treat, but when the treat is this decadent, eh, well, I tend to forgive the price tag. I would give it four stars if the prices weren't as high as they are. read more
