Misty and Rhawnie are wonderful. I see Misty and Rhawnie for cut, color and styling. They are super attentive and really listen to your wants and needs. Their goal is to achieve your vision. Misty does great work with color and balayage. Rhawnie pays attention to detail when cutting and styling my fine hair. Well I just read a bad review about a refusing services cause a client didn't want to wear a mask, here's what I have to say, if you have skin problems because of wearing a mask, don't get an appointment at a beauty salon, cause by law (tdlr ) at the moment you have to wear it. ritgh now senses May 8th 2020 the governor open the salon to a 25% capacity they say they have to come back but with new update changes and rules and policy for you and stylist healthy cause guest what they have family too that they have to protect and tdlr ( Texas department of licensees and registration ) say is mandatory that the stylist and client have to wear a mask, this is for you own and stylist safety, they are risking they life to just taking the time to go to work and make your services, so don't complaint when they refuse to do your devices cause you are not fallowing they policy, rules, and state law for the moment for the times we are living. For me they are doing an excellent job like they always do Misty and Rhonnie are excellently stylists and they will give you the best attention and respect that you deserve as a client and as a person!!!!! read more

I give it three stars because the owner is wonderful and made me feel better about my expereince by giving me 1/2 of my money back and a new contact for hair and color. Do NOT go to Mario if you have curly hair. I told him to book me for 3 hours b/c it just takes that long for what I wanted. I went in with explicit instructions (trim, long layers, overall color with lowlights, blow dry straight, flat iron and add curls throughout). I walked out with my hair HACKED off to the point I cannot wear it curly unless I want to look like a poodle, ZERO layers, no overall color and just some boring copper highlights that you can barely notice. My hair was kind of straight but not as straight as other people can get it and he did not add curls throughout. Total cost for my experience = $195 (not including tip). If you want color done - the owner told me to go to Dura. I'll be trying her next time. read more

Inconsistent results. Sometimes it's great, sometimes okay, and once in a while terrible. I got a subpar haircut this time from a cranky stylist. Although I've been a long-time customer, I won't be going back. I don't so much mind being made to feel unwelcome, but what gets me is having to pay for a bad haircut. read more

I have been going to Mario since 1978. He is the best at cutting and coloring hair. I had let my hair grow to my waist so I could donate it . When I was ready to cut it, I called Mario and went in and told him what I wanted and showed him a picture. Wow! I have received so many compliments that I look younger, thinner and very chic. Mario knows how to cut hair so that you don't look like you just got a hair cut. I will never let anyone cut my hair except Mario. He is also very good at perms. Your hair will look naturally curly, not frizzy. read more

Misty saved my hair! I had a horrible bleaching disaster which ruined my hair that had already been previously bleached and dyed a couple times. My hair was breaking off in chunks whenever I brushed my hair. Misty stayed hours after the salon normally closes just to fix my hair. She took her time and did not rush which I really appreciated, since it was well after closing. I was so afraid to get the damaged part cut off because it would've had to have been very short and I never liked myself with short hair. She really eased me into it and did a wonderful cut and put a demi permanent hair color in. She was very respectful towards my opinions and was willing to compromise with the length and color so that I would be happy and comfortable with my hair. I love my hair now and it looks so much healthier and is no longer breaking. The products she recommended to me have also been very helpful. The whole experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend Misty and the salon in general. read more
