One thing I always liked about 7 Leaves was that even though they use a lot of ice, the drinks were strong enough that they still tasted good all the way to the bottom. These last two times, though, they've been super watered down. By the time I get toward the bottom, I'm basically just drinking milk with a distant memory of coffee. The service itself is good, so no complaints there! Maybe it's just inflation...apparently it's gotten ahold of my gas AND my coffee now. At this point, even the caffeine budget is getting cut. The decor is a little lacking but they have two bookshelves in the back including some colors. While we waited, my toddler was able to color which is such a thoughtful touch. I always like seeing business cards in display in coffee shops because I think it shows a level of community in the owners values so it was amazing to see a whole table of cards out for everyone. Local, Latino-owned coffee shops are slowly coming to SELA and I think this is such a great option to try. Everyone is so friendly and we'll definitely be back to try other food items and drinks.

I personally wasn't too fond of the crunchy beans but my boyfriend liked it so to each their own I guess. The girl today just looked at me. And the 3 servers working the 7am shift 10/13 were talking LOUD about who a guy she wants to take somewhere will "do some shit" to ruin the night.
