Today we actually had the açaí bowl (btw I didn't get to take a pic) it was that good, we devoured that bowl so fast!! It's a pretty large container and they stuff it all the way to the top, so it's shareable. This time we ate at the location and let me tell you it gets real busy, so give yourself some time and don't rush. The staff is always nice, and that times I've gone I've felt welcomed. Try it out. You'll def be coming back for more

I paid $10 for brown water!!…read more I love the Chocolate Wasted Smoothie. It has been my go-to for years. However I saw they have a very fancy coffee machine and debated to try one. I reluctantly agreed to try the "My Cafecito" after being told it is similar to the smoothie (minus peanut butter). I was very reluctant to deviate from the drink I love and I ended up regretting it! The coffee flavored smoothie was basically a slushy. It was majority crushed ice that melted and became brown water. There was no creaminess that you would expect from a smoothie as the Chocolate Wasted one is. I wished I had not let myself be talked into trying it and had buyers remorse and left very dissatisfied. Never again.

BUT, I did notice that they add a lot of imitation crab now (like A LOT) to add volume and cut the shrimp up to pieces. Total shrimp I got was probably like 4 cut in half. So like 8 pieces lol When it was about $14 it had more shrimp. Just a genuine review. The place is clean and the ladies are nice. But yeahh that's just my experience.

I suggested we stop by because, honestly, these small local spots often have the best ice cream. I absolutely adored the girl who helped us. She was so patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. She was kind, helpful, and really knew her stuff. Left an impression on us : ) The prices are super reasonable, too. A small is around $3.50, and a large is just over $5.. not bad at all for two to four scoops! We'll definitely be coming back.

I'm not a big fan of the tostada that comes with it only because for some reason, it's always stale. The mango habanero is one of my favorites from here. I only order spice level 1, anything after that is just too spicy for me. The classic ceviche is just as flavorful. I absolutely recommend this place, I haven't gone anywhere for ceviche since I found this place!
