Definitely my new munchie spot! I don't eat seafood AT ALL, but this mango habanero ceviche wow! I would come back to share some with my bf. The tosti esquite was bomb! Forgot to take a pic of our strawberry & banana licuado but that was 10/10 Definitely give this place a try! You won't be disappointed

I tried this place for the first time and the flavors were amazing! The store setup is super cute…read more The entire staff was great but the star today was Zoey. Went above and beyond with her service and recommended amazing flavors i was scared to try. I also love their " tacolate" item in the freezer. 10/10 and i loved zoeys vibe tonight

I've been enjoying Salt & Straw since my then girlfriend (now wife) visited their Oregon location…read more From their high quality ingredients to their unique flavors, it's always a treat to sample flavors before choosing scoops to purchase. This last time I opted for the split scoop waffle cone. For the top I chose the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge and the bottom, the Bananas Foster with Candied Pecans. It was delicious! Such intense flavors! The favorite of the two was definitely the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge. If you're a peanut butter lover, this is the one for you! They also have some pretty awesome merch to purchase as well and the Tacolate collaboration with Taco Bell is a must the next time I go. They also had Tacolate sauce pack keychains to purchase too! Service was also great as the person was extremely patient as the family was sampling their wide array of options. The kids were loving every moment too! Will be heading back soon for another treat! Tacolate if it's still available!

Saw this place near my hotel in DTLA and heard a lot of good things about it. After eating ramen, I…read morewent to grab some ice cream from here. The place is super small and no line, but the flavors were plentiful. I forget what they do, but you can get a combo of flavors in a single scoop. Cookies n cream and cookie dough are my two favorites, so I got that combo. It was super yummy. No wonder the place has so many positive reviews on Yelp!!

So an absolute eternity ago, like a decade ago, there was a Paradis in Belmont Shore in Long Beach…read more(which felt like almost as much of a trek from downtown Long Beach as DTLA is, but by bike rather than by train, so we felt a bit more of an excuse to go there and eat ice cream.) Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

It's quite small (order & go) but it's very clean and charming. They have a good selection of fresh juices, cut up fruit, snacks, smoothies, and ice cream (Thrifty-yum)! The only thing is that there are not prices listed anywhere, but the lady here was ready to answer any questions. I ordered a Vampiro and Jugó Mixto. Both were made to order and incredibly refreshing. Will definitely be back to try the rest.

What really threw me off was how unsanitary the preparation area was. The pistachio sauce used for the chocolate covered strawberries was sitting in hot water that looked dirty. When the employee poured the pistachio sauce into a cup, the dirty water dripped into it and she didn't replace the strawberries. That was honestly unacceptable. The esquite warmer was also filthy, with crusty residue around the cover. The floor wasn't clean either. Since it was evening and the sunlight was shining into the store, you could clearly see all the dust collected between the containers and boxes. Overall, this place needs a serious cleaning and better hygiene practices. The Maruchan soup was pretty much the only good thing because it was just plain with lemon and Valentina same as I do at home the chips and mayo with corn on the side was honestly so gross Also they charge you a service fee. I'm guessing for using debit card. They don't advise you before charging so be aware of that. I spent over $50 on things that are honestly going to the trash just stick to the Michoacana or Paletera Limon. If I could, I would request a refund ASAP unfortunately I know that is not possible
