Good food and coffee but WAY overpriced! Three of us went for breakfast and it was $57. One sausage patty was $3.10. Not worth the money.

Oh boy, how I love this place. I've only ever come here for breakfast, but it's been great. The avocado toast and steel-cut oatmeal are both wonderful. The portions are huge and really delicious. Their coffees are diverse and plentiful as well, though I usually get a caffè macchiato with whatever I'm eating. Highly recommended as a local breakfast joint; I only need to try them for lunch. Thanks, Coffee Co :) read more

The place is tiny so tables full up quickly but it is a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect if you're looking for a place to kill time and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. I got a vanilla iced chai latte and it was amazing. I couldn't stop sipping it! My friend got the red eye coffee and loved it as well. Definitely stopping back. read more

This place wins the award for the best latte I've ever had was out here looking for a Starbucks but luckily stumbled here

I stopped by while visiting from CA and I was impressed by the fresh food and enjoyed the coffee . The menu is a bit more up to date than some other local restaurants . The restaurant was safe and followed guidelines, the staff was friendly, the service was great. I'll visit again! read more

This restaurant probably has the worst service in Lancaster, but I frequently go because the food is usually very good. Over the past year the food quality has been on a decline. The omelettes are runny with raw egg despite asking for it well done. They can't get it right. Burnt toast is a regular occurrence... and if you complain and tell them it isn't good? They won't do a thing. Not even offer to remake it!! If they're feeling nice they might give you a 20% off coupon for your next visit. Ridiculous. Safe to say I won't be returning. Today was my last of many visits. read more

I go to the Coffee Company because it's convenient for meetings with clients and contacts. I like the atmosphere and the menu - just today had a great greek salad lunch there. The service is good and they play BLUES in there at times - coffee and blues are the way to my heart! I try to support local shops whenever I can. read more

My daughter and I stopped in today because she had an appointment at the med center next door. We are new to the area so had never been here before. It's very small and narrow inside but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I didn't realize they have a full menu for breakfast and lunch with many vegetarian options and also some vegan choices. My daughter and I only had coffee, but the houseblend was delicious and we will return for lunch. read more

There's always a catch when getting a good cup of coffee in Lancaster. I have been to this coffee co location 4 times and each time I have a feeling like this is the first time the servers have seen a man of color getting a coffee. Two days ago I order on the Toast app to avoid the awkwardness but it still happens. The woman at the counter looked frozen when arrive and say I ordered on the Toast app, looks at some receipts and says it not ready. Fine. I sit mess on my phone for 5 mins, two drink orders are made and received in that span, I return to the counter ask one more time if my drink was ready, she turns to the same pick up station looks at the same two receipts and says no it not ready. I ask if there is a way to get a rain check for my drink because it appears that it won't be ready and it has been 15 mins since I placed the order on the app. The barista over hear me ask for the rain check and the time it has been since the order and tells her that he asked her to check when the Toast app order person arrived because he need to know if I want another flavor option because they had run out of the option I had ordered on the app. She continues to stay frozen so the barista turns to me and ask what flavor I would like because she could not unfreeze herself to ask me. One of the few places in town that has really good coffee but each time I am in there the counter people are frozen or awkward. Great coffee & the muffins are pretty good too but yikes. read more

Waited for like 10 min in a line, the douchey cashier ignored me, walked away to the back of the store and didn't come back. Seriously, what the fuck read more

I love coming here every other Saturday. Their coffee is exceptionally great, and the Staff and owners make you feel like they've known you for ages. read more

Between the lattes, and the hot or iced tea..I've never been disappointed on any trip here! Even with baked goods and coffee beans...very happy! Staff is always very nice, helpful and knowledgeable..service is always very fast and coffee is never anything but great, consistent and full of flavor! read more

I go here a few times a year with a friend of mine and I always have a good experience. Everything is always delicious and presented well. I think there are too many tables in the cafe considering its size, and the service is a little slow, but always very, very pleasant. I always leave happy :-) read more

After trying to find an alternative to Starbucks close to my hotel, I stumbled across Coffee Co and was immediately attracted by the free cup of coffee offered if you check in on Yelp. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and my mom ordered the medium roast, which I believe is their house blend. We both really enjoyed our coffees. Their menu ordered a variety of coffee and tea beverages with a variety of options for customization. The beverages appear to be the main attraction here, but they also offer dine-in services for breakfast and lunch. I wasn't able to try the food, but I saw someone order an omelette that looked good. However, I did order a blueberry muffin that I really liked. They offered a wide variety of muffins, all of which looked appetizing. It seems to get busy here quickly, so be conscientious of that. Despite receiving a cup of coffee free, I would purchase another cup of coffee here especially because it's priced well. If you're ever in the area, stop by! read more

Coffee Co - Lancaster - Iced coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

See all

Based on coffee and food, I would give this place 5 stars however, the service is really lacking. On more than a few occasions it has ruined my experience while dining at the shop. I go out of my way to be polite and friendly to servers and it would seem that at least one of their servers goes out of her way to be rude. I am only doing take out right now and that is going fine. Go for the coffee but keep your expectations low if you dine in. read more

They lack customer service started at the greeting. The staff talks a lot amongst their selves and sometimes seemed less then thrilled to be waiting on us. No wifi, Short area to wait and they talk while you are standing there and have not been welcomed or anything. They lack cold tea selections. There is only two. Sorry guys but I love my cold tea. Also it felt disconnected like if you were not family or a regular there was not a whole lot of time put into caring about you. The food was good but service not good, read more

I guess I sat at the wrong table. No one asked me if I wanted to order lunch. Waited a few minutes and left. A couple 2 tables over was being served. Is there a secret code to get table service? read more

Horrible experience and didn't even get a chance to eat here. Went to the Lancaster PA location and came in around 11:30 for breakfast and stood there for 15 minutes without being greeted before we decided to take our business elsewhere. Multiple people walked in past us and were served and all three servers made eye contact with us but decided not to seat us for whatever reason. Rude and disappointing. read more

Yowza was this place a surprise. We stopped in on our way out of Lancaster just before getting on the Turnpike. It's in a strip mall nestled in between big box stores. Inside, however, the earthy tones and great vibe make Coffee Company really excellent. Service is a titch slow and we had to repeat a relatively simple order a couple of times; but the quality is good and the staff is uncannily nice and the clientele delightful. Plentiful outside seating and with some good places to kibbutz indoors, though more could be done with the indoor space. Certainly a place I'd try again when in Lancaster. read more

Stopped in to just get an iced tea, but stayed for lunch. They had a salad on the special menu - fresh mango, strawberries, pecans, goat cheese over spring mix - which we very good! I wish this was closer to my home, I'd come her more often. read more

I've grabbed breakfast here a few times and it's been consistently good. Coffee is good quality as well. They have delicious looking pastries but I've only had the eggs or omelette. Both were good. Fairly small inside, but nice setting. In the Giant Shopping Center. Ample parking. read more

I was very angry that this restaurant didn't follow the mandate to close last year. However, my friend and I decided to go there this year when outside seating was available. I've noticed that they still don't require masks inside the restaurant, so my friend and I always request seats outside. On a previous visit, they weren't seating outside because it had rained, even though the rain had stopped! My friend and I did sit inside, but were only a foot from other diners. I was very uncomfortable with this experience. Today we arrived and all the outside seating was filled. We asked to be seated outside when a table opened up. We were told they had stopped seating customers outside due to "construction." We saw no construction anywhere! We left and went to another restaurant that had outdoor seating. On my way home, I drove by Coffee Co and the only construction was hundreds of yards away at the Oregon Pike & Lititz Pike intersection. If they aren't going to require masks for staff or customers, or provide outdoor seating, they have no concern about their customers' health during this pandemic. My friend and I will not return. read more

Whoever is their breakfast chef is amazing. I have had breakfast there 3 times now and I recommend it to anyone who lives food and breakfast in particular. However, the service could have been better. I entered for breakfast and there were 2 customers seated and served and no one else. 2 staff member futzing around and didn't even acknowledge my arrival. Although the definitely saw me. Finally a 3rd person working there, who came from nowhere, attended me. This young women was very nice. And my food was AWESOME. read more

I found this to be one of the better cafes in the Lancaster area. It has a nice environment with helpful and friendly staff. The coffee isn't amazing, but it's definitely not bad. I haven't tried the food though, but I know my parents enjoy grabbing something to eat there from time to time. If you're in the area and looking for a good cup of coffee, this is the place to go. It does seem like they have strange hours though. I've driven by a handful of times only to see a "We're Closed" sign in the door. read more

I came in for the first time yesterday and asked what they were known for or what was a good coffee here from the young guy up front. I always appreciate when someone is excited that it is your first time at a business and they give you a quick tour of their favorite items on the menu and don't give you the stupid answer that I get sometimes "oh, everything's good here..." (and that is sometimes all that I get). I ended up with a black coffee (holiday something) and it was excellent. It was very smooth, not burnt, and the flavor was top notch. It seems like from the glimpse I got that their customer service is top notch too. I'll be back. read more

My go-to breakfast and lunch joint! Always great coffee, chai and other specialty drinks. Food is always great and fresh. Love the vegetarian options and the daily specials are always a great choice. Still love it here even though they are usually preoccupied. read more

Always LOVE coming by this place. Their tea selection is great, as I'm not a huge coffee fan. However, never fear! My family went there for breakfast and we were incredibly disappointed. The pancakes were inedible. They looked freshly made at one point but I think they were reheated in the microwave - very chewy and hard to cut. I've also had better iced lattes. read more

My husband and I stopped in on our quest to find the perfect cup of coffee in the perfect atmosphere....we did find some good coffee....but the atmosphere was a little lacking.... I am looking for comfy seating and relaxed people and great conversation.......and what I found were uncomfy seats and people who seem a little too high brow for the coffee house scene The coffees...lattes both...one caramel-one mocha....were quite good....and made with care.....and the food was tasty....but I found myself wanting to move the coffee and the counter to somewhere more relaxed feeling....just lift them right up and plant them somewhere else..... So if you are looking for the older coffee drinkers and want to avoid the arty people who often fill a coffee house...this is the place for you... Note: This was a Tuesday evening....perhaps a weekend would be different..but my guess is not.... read more

I went to this place for lunch with my co-workers. Found this coffee shop while searching on mapquest using the search toolbar on the map. I am a vegetarian and i was very excited when i saw that their menu had a vegetarain section. That is when i decided that i should try this place. Food: They have various options on their menu for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The sandwich i got was very good (i had the Phyllis). It came with veggie chips and pickle as sides which were simply delicious. It is not a big place but a small compact place with around 10 tables. The service was good but it took longer for us since the place was crowded. read more

The Coffee Company is where I found out that i liked cold coffees and from there I now enjoy anything coffee.Several years ago i found this cafe as i don't live extremely close. When i walk through the door and get hit by the smell of their delicious coffee I know that I am in the right place. I have not had the privilege of eating a meal their yet but i do know that their cookies and carrot cake are superb. I really enjoy eating a baked product with my coffee and this cafe is the place I love to do just that. I would say that this is the best cafe I have ever been to. read more
