Still such a great spot in Monroe! It's really the only cafe where you can go grab quality hand crafted lattes and get some work or studying done. I haven't found another one within like 20 miles of here haha ***LOCATION*** There is always street parking or parking in the lot just down the street with the mural or parking at city hall. ***AMBIANCE*** It's always relatively crowded. I mean it's the best spot in town so it makes sense. But it's still quiet enough to get work done and they have plenty of seats. Even if it's full you can usually grab a seat at the bar. ***STAFF*** The staff are all very cool and super nice! ***FOOD/DRINKS*** The only thing lacking is more selection for food. They do have a couple of pastries and for savory options they have avocado toast or biscuits that have small pieces of bacon and cheddar in them. I think they have chicken sandwiches from the restaurant next door occasionally but there just isn't much of a food menu. I like to get food or something savory with coffee vs sweets. I'd love to see an egg bagel on the menu! I used to work at Jittery Joes and we made egg in the microwave for bagels, I would be so fine with that! Haha and just adding some cheddar! For sweets they don't have much, mainly a muffin and cookie but they are good. Again, I'm less of a fan of sweets, and there are several other sweet spots in the area but maybe at least some savory bagel options here would be perfect! The avocado toast is very good though! And even the French toast if you want something sweet, but those are the two main specialty food items. The coffee is always amazing! I LOVE that they have the iced white mocha without sugar. And it really tastes like the classic white chocolate imo!

What an awesome vibe! I came into this coffee shop in downtown Monroe. I'd heard about the good quality coffee and wanted to try it out. From the moment I walked in, the aroma was exquisite! Staff were super sweet & friendly. The coffee was amazing & so were the muffins. The decor, the ambiance is so inviting I stayed a while. This is definitely a place I will visit again. Highly recommend!

I love coming here because the staff is always so friendly and everything I have tried here is so good. I typically get an iced white mocha (or iced polar bear) or a strawberry and banana smoothie to drink and sometimes a bagel and cream cheese. I do wish they had a few more food/snack options especially when I am there working for a few hours. The environment is nice if you need to get some work done or to just hangout and talk. While they do have a good amount of seating, it can get very crowded and hard to find a place to sit and work at certain times. But it also makes it a good place to be motivated to work at when you're surrounded by a lot of other people who are also working. I come here pretty often and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

In Monroe visiting from California and after searching for good coffee that wasn't from a chain, I struck Gold with this place. And the description on the website is accurate; the moment I walked in I exclaimed "yesss!" In a soft voice to myself but was seen by one of the baristas and she kinda nodded her head in agreement. its almost as if she knew i had been searching and finally found good coffee. And the place itself is inviting. If walls could speak these would say "after you grab your coffee, come sit here!". But when i saw the Roasting area ... i knew this was 'the place'. So in short, yessss, if you're in Monroe and need to get caffeinated, this is the spot.

Cute coffee and tea spot in downtown Monroe. They have plenty of tables to hang out and get some work done. You can also grab a quick cup and explore some of the shops around there. The market also has some restored pieces and the most adorable puppy bowties. My matcha latte was delicious. I'm glad they had almond milk as an option.

They have a Rancilio machine that pulls good shots. The espresso didn't blow me away but was definitely drinkable. If I had to guess I'd say that the beans were past their optimum freshness. All in all a respectable coffee shop. read more

Was out of town and decided to stop at one of my favorite coffee shops this weekend. Coffee Camper never disappoints. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming, and the coffee is next level. This time I decided to dine in, and got the Micah iced latte with a warmed-up banana bread and it was absolutely delicious! My experience there is always wonderful. This place is the bomb when it comes to coffee. High quality organic coffee , local ingredients such as cream, whipped cream made there, yummy!This place is for real coffee people not starbucks fans . If you want low burnt coffee beans go there. Everyone raves about the "Micah Bear" if you like caramel lattes. Things I tried: Iced Matcha awesome !!! Reg coffee good to the last drop. This place is amazing! Support small businesses very well. The coffee is definitely great. The atmosphere is very nice as well. My only hang up is that the wifi is really bad. As a coffee shop, having solid wifi is a must, and I've had several occassiona where the wifi just isnt what it needs to be. Easy fix but that is the only thing holding me back from giving Coffee Camper 5 stars. Amazing place. read more

Great place! My significant other always wants to come here and drags me along. The interior of this little cozy cafe is really hipster styled the items that they have for sale are pretty expensive but absolutely cute nonetheless. The snacks are delicious as well, and the coffee is nice. The employees warn you if it's hot and that's a good thing. read more

Glad we found this place! We never hit downtown Monroe (currently living about 5 minutes away) but I learned about these guys through Instagram. This morning we met the owner, Crystal and she talked about how much she loved coffee and her work on building a true coffee camper. Currently, they're located inside the 'Revolutionaries Market' right off Broad street. They're latte uses a local Watkinsville roaster and it's super smooth. Wifey enjoyed a hot chocolate. Their scones are served warm and they come from a bakery in nearby Loganville and these things are amazing. I got blueberry and my wife got strawberry and we couldn't decide which was better. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Crystal P.

Crystal's love for coffee has deep roots. She comes from a family of coffee farmers. Although she was born in the states, most of her family resides in Central America - in the beautiful country of Honduras. She has been able to visit the mountains of La Iguala, Honduras where her family owns acres upon acres of coffee and corn fields. She has always admired their humility and hard work and hopes to reflect that same atmosphere at Coffee Camper Co. For years, it has been Crystal's dream to open a coffee shop in her community and the time is here! She loves the opportunity to create quality coffee with pride, love and authenticity.

My Rating: "Exemplary!" - 6/5 There's nothing like a great cup of coffee in the morning, and Coffee Camper Co. delivers EVERY morning. (I know because I go there almost every morning during the week). As a former barista at a family-owned coffee shop in Atlanta, I have high (snobby) expectations for coffee, and I have been amazed at the level of consistency and coffee-craftsmanship at not only the coffee served (very high quality) but at the service and atmosphere. Coffee Camper is themed as a mountain escape, and that's what it feels like when you walk in the door. Somehow, in the middle-of-nowhere GA, piedmont region, there's an escape to the fresh and crisp air of the north GA mountains. The coffee served is high quality. The beens are sourced from both local roasters and also famed roasters like Onyx. The coffees lean on the fruity side of the fruity-earthy divide (in fact, I have yet to encounter a coffee there that I would classify as earthy) which I consider rather unusual but in a GOOD way (though I do miss my earthy coffees sometimes). Like all coffee shops these days, you can Overall, I just love the coffee (my typical drink of choice is a flat white with oat milk) and the atmosphere, and it's a worthwhile place to check out if you're in the Monroe area! read more

Stopped in Monroe en route from Athens, GA to Atlanta airport on the last day of a 5 week trip in US. Coffee Camper was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Apart from being set in a great artisanal store setting, the feel of the coffee shop area was really welcoming. Staff and customers were open, friendly and upbeat, and the coffee was the best we have had on our trip, with great flavour, and careful presentation. A great find. read more

As a realtor, I love taking my clients here to get coffee or tea. Great atmosphere with a place to meet for the first time and talk where both parties can be comfortable. Absolutely love the Polar and Micah Bear coffee. We have also started getting our milk from Coffee Camper. Everything has been good (Whole, 2% and Buttermilk) but the chocolate milk is down right momma slappin good. That stuff disappears like a fart in the wind around our house! read more

I come from Australia where the coffee is absolutely perfect and is available everywhere so in Monroe Georgia coffee campers is the only place to get a decent coffee read more
