It was fresh, filling, and perfectly decent, but the food itself wasn't particularly memorable or something I'd make a special trip back for. The coffee was good as well. I'd say the menu does its job, but the setting outshines the food. Service was pleasant and straightforward, and the overall vibe is relaxed, unpretentious and very much that old-school neighborhood coffeehouse feel rather than a polished, trendy café. I actually like that about it. For me this is more of a 3.75 than a true 4, but Yelp doesn't give us that option.
