Seoul Chikin

I visited the Brunch Pop-up at Olive + Pine on Sunday and tried Seoul Chikin for the first time!…read moreThe pop-up was very cute and had a nice assortment of options from various pop-ups. I got the Korean street toast, and it was yummy. It was like a grilled cheese/patty melt with Asian influences. I would have loved to see it served with a sauce, maybe a hot sauce, which would have added to it! I am not sure I would have it again, but I would love to try more of their food. Parking: not too bad, there are some spaces in front and a bigger lot in the back. COVID measures: *INDOOR seating and OUTDOOR seating available* *Staff wore face masks* For more information, photos, and reviews, check out my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ssfooddiaries/

Having moved from LA a couple of years ago, I miss a good Korean fried chicken (KFC). Curious to give it a try, I ventured out to their pop up at Red Hare Brewing this summer Friday, where I could dine safely on the patio and pair the food with some craft beer. The KFC wings were delightfully crispy with sweet and spicy soy sauce, and side of crunchy pickled radish that went perfectly. They also had the fun tornado potato which was delicious with perilla ranch, garlic Parmesan and fried shallots to balance the slight heat of the wings. Red Hare Brewing helped pair a cool flight of craft beers including Coconut Coffee Porter (intriguing with bitter roast nutty intensity lightened by slight sweetness and distinct tropical flavor of toasted coconut), Sticky Spice Stout, Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest lager and Soft J (fruity and refreshing IPA). Finished out my late lunch with fun Yakult pop!!! Looking forward to checking out their future pop-ups around the ATL!!
