I was in the mood for some extravagant pies, and boy was I treated beautifully. The cheese pizza there knocked my socks and toe hair off, which is a rare occurrence nowadays. The atmosphere is dark, but the servers at the counter brightened my day. I bowled here a few times when I was a young lad, and I sucked at it. I got struck out in all nine innings and even broke my new Louisville Slugger in the process. I did get to meet Babe Ruth later that night, and he gave me some pointers on how to bowl with my hand and not with my bat. What a guy! Coffaro's Pizza, sadly, is Co-Far-away from me, so I can't get a slice of Heaven without walking through hell first. It takes nearly four hours to walk there. I'll have to use my longboard next time. Food was pretty good. We brought clients with disabilities to come in eat and bowl. A little above budget but we made it work since our normal bowling alley was unexpectedly closed for the day. They refused to allow us to order tap water. I understand cups cost something and we were willing to pay for cups but not water fountain and no tap water. You had to buy their bottled water and that was the only option. When it came to bowling, the cashier threw a fit over one client not wearing bowling shoes. The other two did but this client has a sensory disorder and changing shoes is not an option. After a little back and forth, they finally agreed to allow him to bowl if we cleaned his shoes. Okay. They pay ahead of time and no refunds. Which would have been nice to know before the whole shoe fiasco. Also, only one receipt per lane, not per person. Cool that they're saving paper, I guess. Not cool for workers whose clients are required to have receipts for every purchase. No copies of receipts either. The bathrooms weren't the best. The tile looked like it hasn't had a good scrub in years. Yes, quick sweep and mop. There wasn't anything on the floor and no smell. But the build up in the texture of the tile shows it hasn't been scrubbed recently at all. Shame as they look renovated and could otherwise be quite nice. For all of these reasons, we won't be back. I understand some people don't realize the hardships and discrimination that people with disabilities face on a day to day basis. But the cashier we dealt with seemed to have no empathy or desire to find a compromise. Two stars only because food was pretty good. read more

If there was 10 stars I'd rate it that. This place has the best pizza I've ever tasted. Me and my family went bowling and ordered pizza and cheesy bread. Our pizza came before we even started bowling, and the worker was extremely kind when we had a problem with the bowling lane. I loved how they played music while you bowled, and me and my family sang along to our favorite songs. Bowling was incredibly good and the food was awesome! Wanting some pizza while in slippery rock, coffaros has a pretty good pie. We got a veggie pizza, 1/2 an Italian and 1/2 a chix parm hoagie. Pizza was good. Not a wimpy crust. Crust supported toppings well. I would just some garlic or herbs on the crust. Hoagies were good also. We ll definitely order again. read more

Inexpensive and tasty! Seems like a college town pizza place. No one seems to actually eat inside, but the pizza is pretty great.

Overall, they have great prices but the choices are limited. For $5 you can get a salad that is decent. We came with a large group so the wait time was terrible. I don't want to judge based on that one experience, but left feeling underwhelmed. First of all more effort should be placed on the outside decor. Ordered online and the pick up time was shifted because we took to long to place the online order. Fine. Then when we went to pick the order up, it took another 20 minutes beyond that stated time. All ordered items were in the bags, but one sandwich was completely wrong. Oh, it was the right sandwich but things that were marked "no" on the order were on the sandwich and the other things appeared to be left off. Even the steak on the steak sandwich seemed to have been left off. Seriously, all piled up together, it was about one bite of meat. Won't ever order from this location again. read more

Used to love coming here with my boyfriend, but since they came under new management, the quality has gone down, and is not worth the hour and a half drive. I hate that this place has gone by the wayside. We would always joke that places opening up next door would cycle (similar to Bob's Burgers lol), but we don't see this place lasting much longer if if keeps up this type of poor quality. I was not a fan of the pizza crust or the customer service. When the pizza came, the crust was slightly burnt and hard. There was also a mixup where the pizza was paid for on a card, but the person answering the door accidentally paid for the pizza too. The delivery driver did not say a word about the large "tip" he received nor did the business do anything to help the situation. As a whole, very unsatisfied. read more

When I first moved to slippery rock 3 years ago..coffarros was amazing. ...that was 2013..... Recently in the past year 2015-2016.....I've ordered there 4 times.....and it's a total disapointment.... First disappointment...ordered a deluxe with everything. ...had a cheese pizza delivered driver insisted it was a deluxe. ...i shredded it in front of him demanding he find any toppings at all ....since then all orders have been BURNT not extra crispy or well done but BURNT pizzas even my most recent order wings are decent. ..but yet again BURNT PIZZA....was told they recently changed management. .......but either way still a total disappointment this past year...there crust will tare up your gums if you try to choke it down.... read more

Ordered pizza from here for my first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. I called ahead and by the time I arrived my pizza was ready and still hot. The pizza was pretty good (best in Slippery Rock if that says much) and jt was only $5 for a 2 topping individual pizza. The staff were friendly and polite. Another perk of this place is BYOB allowed in the bowling alley connected to it. I will probably eat here again next time I want pizza around here. read more

Yum! Been in town in business for a week and have eaten there twice. It's not the best pizza you'll ever have, but it's pretty darn good. It's located inside of the town's bowling alley (like a snack shop) but has much more than pizza. The folks that work there have been really nice both times we've been there. Service is fast and the food is cheap ($5.50 for 2 slices and a bottled soda). Overall, a great place to stop in for lunch! read more

Great delivery service from the one in Grove City to my hotel room. I had the Chef Salad and it was a very large salad with smoked ham, hard salami, pepperoni, green peppers, white onions, tomatoes, olives, and blended shredded cheeses. It was very fresh and tasty! Delivery has to be $10 or more, so since the salad was $7.50, I also ordered a Lemon Tea which hit the $10 mark. Best part was, I could stay in my hotel room and work on my classwork in my pjs and get a great salad brought to my door! read more

Went bowling here and it's total garbage. Paid for three games and had to get help about 5 times within the first 2 games because the machines kept breaking down. The last time we asked for them to fix it, they seemed frustrated at us when it was their faulty machines and told us they'd be right out. After waiting about 30 minutes with no one coming to fix it, we left without playing last game which we had already paid for. Didn't even bother to try the food, but going off the atmosphere of the place and the workers, I wouldn't expect much. Don't waste your money or time. Total trash hole. read more

Used to come here a lot to watch show premiers. I would buy their fries when I did this because they're cheap and it would be polite. Their fries are disgusting though. Flavorless, dry, they just throw ketchup packets on top. One day I came in to watch Archer and bought their nasty fries as a polite gesture. I asked the girls working if they could turn on the TV sound. They responded in a snarky manner, saying that both the TV and bowling music couldn't be on at once. I knew this to be a lie as I have watched shows with big bowling parties playing at the same time. When I mentioned this, they gave a very sarcastic apology. They brought out my fries, then began talking about me, so I left. I didn't return for a while until my boyfriend and I went to try out their pizza. We paid $13 for a large, which was the smallest large pizza I had ever seen. Not only that, but we waited nearly an hour for it. The guy working delivered it to our table by tossing it down, giving a mumbled apology for the wait. The pizza was not worth that much money. Between the wait, the size and the poor taste, it was a waste of money. I will never return here. The workers are almost all very rude and treat you like a nuisance. The place is not clean, not kept up, and the food is never worth what is paid. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more
