I started with a bowl of their soup, which had ground beef and cheese and was almost like a chilli. Next up, I tried one of their specialties, the Burning Mussels, made with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes in a garlic-butter and white-wine broth, topped with Asiago and parmesan cheeses and served with garlic toast. The mussels were fresher than I thought they would be, and there is enough broth and ingredients, making the dish very hearty and filling. I finished with the Lamb Lollipops, a trio of three grilled chops, served on a bed of risotto. The lamb was cooked medium-rare like I ordered it and was seasoned just right.
