My son attended Code With Us camp last week and absolutely loved it. He enjoyed it so much that he's going back again this week! He already spends a lot of his free time coding in Scratch and is currently learning Python, so finding a program that keeps him engaged isn't always easy. Our 6-year old spent a week in a coding camp and absolutely loved it. It was his first introduction to programming. We were prepared to pick him up early as it seemed unlikely that a high energy kid would be able to sit for three hours straight. This place is awesome. The instructors are always patient and available for questions. I have a kindergartener who is just in the beginning stages of reading but even the coding books they use, it has helped him in recognizing words he wouldn't really be exposed to in his school environment. Not to mention the obvious. The whole reason we got our child into a program like this is to get an edge up on learning and being comfortable with computers. As technology advances, coding will be a language of his generation. Reserved a spot for July camp for my nephew in April for the Palo Alto location since he lives in Palo Alto. The day before I start getting automated texts saying to show up in Campbell. I attempt to call and of course can't get through. I email and get a response from John stating they are overbooked in Palo Alto and either go to Campbell or get refunded. I send "John" my receipt showing I was booked in Palo Alto and he simply replies "thanks." Luckily my sister pushed the issue and got my nephew in at Palo Alto (even though they were allegedly overbooked and "John" didn't even bother to try and get him into the location we paid for). read more

I really enjoyed coding classes at Code With Us. I took Python classes there per a coworkers recommendation, and that really helped me at work. Their teachers are knowledgeable and very engaging. Was able to make a same-day appointment for a 1 hour introductory lesson. The place is easy to find with plenty of parking. The instruction is done 1 on 1 using Scratch tool from MIT. Parents can sit in comfortable chairs and enjoy seeing their kid's work on a big screen tv projection. From what I call tell so far, the reviews are right -- this place is great! read more

Yes, this place really is THAT great! Our 7 year old was designing and coding his own games after the 2nd class. Small class sizes (3 to 1 ratio) and excellent teachers make this the only class where our extremely shy son will willingly be dropped off. He has been comfortable here since day one, which has literally never happened in all our experience with many classes, camps, and schools. This is the only program that he actually wants to attend and looks forward to each week. Thank you so much Pedro, and thanks to all your wonderful staff. I think my son has been taught by almost every teacher there, and he has really liked them all. These positive relationships mean so much to us. AMAZING SERVICE!!! One time i asked a worker what errors i had and right way he knew what error i made, pretty outstanding. if you like tech and problem solving, this is the right place to go. You can chose robotics or coding which is awesome and there is a token system where when you earn the right amount of tokens you can get something you want 3D printed. My son has been going to robotics with Kyle for over a month now and he absolutely loves it here. He looks forward to this class every weekend and can't wait to collect badges which can be converted into an actual 3 D printed object! They have been very accommodating of my requests for rescheduling my son's class time on a couple of occasions when I needed it, very professional and courteous. Code it with me, is a coding academy where kid's learn variety of programs! My twins started about 3 months ago. We met Bryan, Avasta and Pedro. All of them are Very knowledgeable and very friendly with kid's! They go out of the way to answer all their questions and teach them thoroughly. My kid's learned lot of programming apporopriate for there age. They r 8 years old. They learned alll the controls so quickly. They would like to come everyday here to learn lots of newer technology! After this experience i have enrolled my older one and nieces and nephwes to learn robotics and coding with these excellent teachers! Very happy to see the productivity in my kid's! The summer program is even fun for kid's! In first week they built alarm clocks! Saw the code they wrote and putting wires together, learning soldering to make the alarm clock work.
