I had one very positive experience with Code 3 transportation; however, our most recent experience, last week I think certainly warrants a review, especially as school representatives are considering using this company for field trips or school events. We used them to take a group of students to San Francisco last week. First, the driver was late for the initial pick-up. She could not find the location even after being sent a pin, a picture, and verbal directions over the phone. The pick-up location is very easily accessible off a main road. Later at the designated departure time, after the group had been dropped off and done their activity, there was no driver present to collect the students and teachers. I could not connect with anyone from the company- I called dispatch, reservations, sent emails, and finally after multiple calls connected with someone through our driver who apparently was no longer driving. it turned out we had been outsourced to a different company (not C3) and I was told that this company (King's Tours) was not given information about when to pick us up. It was incredibly concerning to not be able to connect with anyone for over 40 minutes to determine who could help me or give me the information I needed; meanwhile, we had a group of students and teachers who were stranded in the city without a ride home. When we did finally connect with someone who could help us, it wasn't even a representative from Code 3, it was an employee from a third company, Quality Assurance Travel! This is the company that ultimately ended up picking up and returning our students safely to campus. I did have a follow-up conversation with Code 3 and was given a 50 percent refund; however, there did not seem to be a clear understanding that not only was this a customer service issue, our students were picked up late and missed an important event at school, but this was also a safety issue. I could not get in touch with anyone from the company for over 40 minutes and students and teachers were left for an hour waiting. I would hope that in the future, a better form of communication can be established and there is greater transparency with transportation. On the phone, I was told Code 3 has its own fleet; however, our group was taken on by two different companies and it still not clear why that happened, especially after booking with Code 3. I don't know that we will utilize their services in the future. While I appreciated the refund and did have a positive experience the week prior, after our trip last weekI still have some questions left unanswered about their commitment to safety and integrity of service. read more

- Provided information on what we needed (4 people with luggage for airport transfer) and they provided a vehicle that was overkill (very large van). I could get past that if it weren't for the following issues - Vehicle was in terrible shape: very uncomfortable, noisy and the ride was terrible (wheels way out of alignment and suspension was shot) - For $780 for an airport transfer I expect there to be at least bottles of water in the vehicle, which there wasn't I would not recommend read more

We hired Code 3 Limos for a night out in the city last Friday. Great customer service with very prompt responses to email and phone calls. Shawn our driver was very professional and friendly and took our photos during our photo stops. Great experience! I had to plan a last minute outing to Napa for my team due to change in plans. Code3 was super easy to work with! I just had an amazing experience with Code 3 Limo!!! 20 of us decided to take a wine tasting trip in Napa and we had SOOO much fun!!! The bus was fantastic... gorgeous inside & out with large Tvs and an amazing sound system. There was plenty of room for all of us too, and lots of bottled water and champagne! Could not expect a better experience for a party bus. They were on time for everything, driver Ellen was fantastic, they were so accommodating. They were great for our day in Napa and we had plenty of room on the bus for all dozen of us. Highly recommend this service and I literally looked into about a dozen different services all over the Bay Area. You could not beat this service for the price. Other places that are more expensive are not worth it and anything offering a better price than them, be careful because they might have hidden costs or the quality of service isn't going to be at a high standard. This is the first time I have used them and cannot rave about this company enough!! I called them in a panic because a bus I had booked earlier in the day at another company informed me the bus was no longer available. Lester was amazing and had a bus available that was probably better than the other bus I booked and at the same price! I booked it immediately. Lester was quick to respond via yelp or email with my many changes to the reservation on pick up times, # of people, stops in Sonoma, etc. They even provided a great list of wineries for us to look into and we ended up going to 2 of them & had a great time. Sasha was great to work with as far as getting our 27 person executive shuttle scheduled for our 50th high school reunion well in advance. She text the day prior to the event and let us know the driver's name and cell number. Our driver AJ was very pleasant and showed up right on time for the pick up. The PROBLEM was a shuttle for 13 showed up at the pick up. This required the driver to take 1/2 of our 69-year old group to the reunion while the other 14 people had to wait almost an hour standing in a hotel lobby while she dropped them off and returned to pick up the rest of us. Very disappointing to say the least. Some of us were on the reunion committee and wanted to be there at the start to welcome classmates. The owner called and apologized and said the correct size shuttle would be there for the final pick up and we were offered an upgraded shuttle with extra time. After 11:30 pm nobody was interested in extra partying around town in a shuttle with disco lights. Very unfortunate end result. And no discount offered. read more

Terrible experience for our wedding. It took forever for response time to get everything booked. When we called again, they didn't have all the details of what transportation we wanted because it wasn't added to our invoice. The shuttle service worked great to transport our wedding guests to the venue. However, transporting the guests back to the hotel was a different story. The venue had another wedding going on, and somehow their guests took our shuttles. This left our guests stranded at the venue. They said that another shuttle was coming to pick up guests, but it never arrived. They had to send back our limo to retrieve some of the remaining guests, who had to cram into the limo. Some guests took Uber to get back to the hotel. My husband called to talk to the manager and they didn't seem to really care about the situation. They said they'll call back after they looked into it, and we never got a call back. Our wedding was at the end of July and still haven't heard anything from them! Horrible customer service! read more
