I'm going to be as fair as I possibly can. My wife and I went yesterday ( Sunday November 1st ). We arrived at 9 and sat immediately. The next couple that came in about 5 minutes after us had their order taken first. Ours was taken about 2 minutes after theirs. They were served and ate, paid and left before our food even arrived to the table! When the food did arrive I refused to eat it. I encouraged my wife to eat hers and she enjoyed her meal. I did have a cranberry juice and a very small fork of corned beef hash. ( the small bite I did eat was good) I told the server why I refused my food and under her breath I heard say " Eat it here or take it to go, I don't care" That really made me angry. ( also please note this server is the one who told us where to sit and only brought the food. She didn't actually serve our drinks or take our order) This second server also cashed us out. She never tried to apologize for the service or offer anything in the way of a consolation like take off the drinks or anything. I paid our $26 tab. Left a few dollars on the table and now I will NEVER eat or recommend them to anyone for anything. Which hurts because my wife and I try to support local businesses often. It was very upsetting that a pre-church breakfast with my wife went so poorly! After paying $26 for breakfast I went to church hungry and late. Church starts at 10am the food arrived at 9:50am. On a positive note I was able to give the food to someone I hope enjoyed it. I'm sorry but an hour to wait for breakfast is inexcusable and the attitude just made matters worse. So in closing to the owners, I'm sorry but that performance has turned me off to supporting your establishment. I can't enjoy the food when the service was so poor. I was looking to try this place for along time. Boy was dumb the worst service ever went in for breakfast by the time left it was lunch time and never got to eat. Had to leave could not wait any more paid for my drinks and moved on. They only wait on there regular customers my family's order put to the back of the line at least 10 times I said something to the server and her response was well the cook is the owner and see can do what she wants. 15 mins later still no food I got up and asked fo my check and here response was we had alot of take out orders and they had one of my plates ready. Smh. Sat for over and hour listing to the owner slam the microwave door over 500 time watch people eat there food even though they came in after me. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I love it! All of the staff are friendly and caring, and the service is always amazing. I usually get chocolate chip pancakes with a toasted corn muffin, and everything is out in no time, and cooked perfectly. Everything is reasonably priced; I'd say, two people going there and getting an entree, a side, and a drink is $20. Even when it gets busy and hectic, they are very good at communication- if they can tell a customer is annoyed or impatient, they politely explain that there are take-out orders, etc. I've always loved this place and I always will! read more

The food here is delicious! However, 50 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese, home fries, and french toast was kind of a bummer. The service isn't the greatest, given there were only like three or four people working, and the place was completely packed. I been living in Naugatuck for about two years now and have tried most of the breakfast places around here but today was my first time here. They are by far the most superior diner in the area. This place is really cute and quaint; I've been here several times and have enjoyed it every time. There are a bunch of women (with one chef) who are just running around and doing it all right behind a counter with the kitchen wide open; it;s different, but cool. It can get really crowded (usually between 9:30-12 PM, closing time) the wait can sometimes be a little lengthy. But I give a 5 stars because you can call ahead and pick-up or you can relax on a Saturday and enjoy your company and have a nice breakfast. Their omelettes are some of my favorite, and their potatoes are really good too, a must-have for me to return. Yum! read more

I ordered an egg white and provolone cheese sandwich on a toasted hard roll for pick up which was absolutely amazing. I also ordered "crispy" home fries which they were not but actually soggy. I'll go back for their delicious sandwich again which made up for the soggy home fries. read more
