Unfortunately, my cleaning lady at the time knocked a button or something and caused it to short-circuit in such a way as to risk burning the house down. I had it looked at by a contractor and it was dead dead dead. Called Manny's and given that it was just a month or so past the warranty date, we were SOL. Unfortunately, we had also purchased a 'fridge from Manny's around the same time-frame. The 'fridge that we paid for was a very VERY nice model that happened to be on sale. Unfortunately, when the delivery men came to install it, they discovered that it did not fit through our doors (old weirdly built house, I suppose). They gave up and took it back. We were given a replacement for the same price which was nowhere near the same quality and specs (major downgrade). The replacement unit works okay ... Or has, for almost a year or so ... But now the freezer-drawer has started to fail to close, and it generates a monster sheet of ice every few weeks that needs to be removed or else the unit won't function. Overall, I am not impressed. I had great luck with another leading company in the area and I only went with this one because a co-worker recommended them. No clue why I made that mistake. tl;dr look elsewhere.

As a result of Posh Haus's unprofessional behavior, we had to scramble to find another set of fixtures and the renovation dragged on for several extra weeks. If they had simply been communicative and straightforward, the problem could have been avoided. I understand products go out of stock, but stores should tell people when orders can't be delivered and should respond to phone calls and emails from customers. I would never do business with them again.

Talking to them on the phone as we decide just what we want has been a pleasure, and they share answers to questions I wouldn't have thought to ask. When they've delivered and installed stuff, the guys who do the work are always happy to talk about what they're doing and to give us information that'll help us get the most out of the stuff. And most recently when we had a repair tech (Scott) out to service our washer/dryer, he was very pleasant and competent and I learned a ton more about our unit. We're going to shift over to an electric range from propane before long, and I think we're going to get a new refrigerator when we can, and I plan to get them both from Monadnock Appliance based on our experiences with them. They've earned the business. I first heard about them through a recommendation from folks at my Quaker meeting, and I gave them a try, and I'm glad I've found them. We called the retailer back and they sent out a service person to fix it. It still leaked. We were told to call Whirlpool and the woman was rude to my wife on the phone, claiming we were using the dryer improperly...? After 3 attempts to fix it and 5 weeks gone by, I requested a refund and to return the dryer. I was told by the owner, Dan Bullock, on March 16th that he couldn't just take the dryer back and he had to follow procedures set forth by the manufacturer. I reiterated that I just wanted to return the dryer and get a different one. He said he would get back to me. On March 23rd, a part arrived at my house and I called them back to ask what it was for. Dan said it would fix the dryer and sent a service person out for a 4th time. It still leaked! I called Dan back on March 25th and demanded a full refund. I said that we have been inconvenienced enough and we just want to return the merchandise. He said that they have "gone above and beyond" in trying to help us and he has to "protect his own interest" in the situation." I told him the next request was going to be from my lawyer and he said if I was going to seek legal counsel that he would "handle things differently." Since he refused to take it back, I brought it over to them myself. He said "that's not my property" and "you can't leave that here!" The next day I got served a do not trespass order from the Rindge police. WOW! This is how they treat a loyal customer of 10 years...

I talked to Sean and he answered all of the questions that I had before I decided to go to their showroom to look at it in person. I stopped by the Holliston store after work in April and I was impressed by every employee in the store practicing social distancing, wearing masks, etc. during the peak of COVID-19. I looked at the hot tub in person and it was everything that I was told it was before I got there. The salesperson was very friendly and answered all of my questions that I had about the Caldera Spas. The salesperson was not pushy at all. I ended up purchasing the same display model a few days later. Josh came to my house to perform a pre-delivery site survey and drop off the electrical service panel a few days after that. A couple of weeks later, the Hearthside Service team came to delivery my new hot tub and install all of the accessories on it. They were all very friendly and cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving. I have had a very positive experience with the purchase and delivery of my new Caldera Spa and highly recommend Hearthside Fireplace & Patio! I can also highly recommend the Service Team over at Hearthside as well. I have had a couple of issues with the my new spa, but that was to be expected as it was a display model and a couple of years old. The technician that comes here is very friendly and always leaves everything exactly as he found it and cleans up prior to leaving. I recently had an issue with the Topside Control Panel on my hot tub which was causing the hot tub to shutdown and the temperature has been below freezing. The heater was unable to operate due to the faulty control panel and I was worried that the water inside of the hot tub and plumbing would freeze leading to more problems. Hearthside was able to get a technician in within the same week to figure out what was causing the issue and what they needed to order. Hearthside then ordered the part and was back here to replace it only a couple of business days later. The hot tub is now good as new. I am very impressed with their service and response. Hearthside was able to expedite the shipping on the new part that I needed even during the COVID-19 pandemic and they were also able to get the technician back here to replace it as soon as it came in. When you are purchasing a new hot tub/spa you want to make sure that the dealer is going to service it after you purchase it as they are the ones that honor the manufacturer's warranty. I can safely say that Hearthside will service your hot tub and honor the manufacturer's warranty if needed. If you're looking for a new hot tub, I would not hesitate to checkout a Caldera Spa at any of Hearthside's locations!
