    Repair technician came into home with preconceived notions that it would be a mouse issue with our…read moredishwasher. Found issue was coming from around the motor gasket that was causing the leak. Ordered parts and requested that we remove the dishwasher from under the cabinet to allow for servicing the unit. I removed the dishwasher the day of appointment to install the parts and did observe 5 or 6 mouse droppings and absolutely no signs of chewed plastic or insulation. Technician removed and installed parts that he ordered told me I was all set and then left. Did not show me any parts that could have had any type of mouse damage or even mention mouse damage for that matter when he was leaving. I reinstalled the dishwasher under the cabinet, and started a cleaning cycle on it and about 5 minutes into the cycle the dishwasher indicated a leak again and shut down. I contacted the technician and informed him of the issue he stated he would put in a report through their technical app and get back to me and would follow up later. 10 days later I contacted him again and was advised LG was declining the repair and that they were supposed to have reached out to me, when I ask the reason for the repair being declined he said mice. Followed up with LG and got absolutely nowhere with them. So now I having to purchase a new dishwasher as this one is useless and not being covered by warranty for an issue I was not shown any damage having been caused by mice.

    We are staying nearby and needed to do some laundry. We did okay with the washing cycle, but the…read moredryers! Ack! The first machine took 7 quarters, but only registered 6 of them, and didn't accept any more to get to the $2/load amount. It also didn't give us the money back. Grumble, grumble. THEN, the second machine took my coins with a bit of manipulation of coin insertion, it ran a cycle, and after 40 minutes on "normal" the clothes were just as wet as they went in, and not warm/hot at all. I should have changed machines again, but instead I ran other cycle on heavy/high for ANOTHER 40 minutes. At the end, the clothes were just a bit warm and only slightly less damp. We bagged up our damp clothes that had been in a machine for 80 minutes, $5.75 poorer in regards to the drying attempts, went back to our place, found a drying rack and hung everything up for two days (high humidity right now) 'til dry. A royal pain. I'm assuming they're not cleaning their dryer venting at all. Home dryer vents should be cleaned out once a year ideally, so I assume a laundry business should clean theirs a lot more often. I suspect it's not happening. Also, they need to replace their coin mechanisms on the driers. I feel we were taken advantage of re. our loss of money and loss of time. There was no employee on site to help. The place could also use some cleaning, but it wasn't trashed. Just scruffy, tape all over windows from past fliers, etc.

The item they delivered, however, was too deep and did not fit the space, actually blocking one of the entrances to our unit. We also had told them that the doors had to be reversed to open on the right, but that was not how it was delivered. When advising them of the problems, Hudson asked if we had checked the dimensions of the unit they recommended; to which I replied, "Did you check the dimensions we gave YOU?" No reply. When I asked why the installers didn't call Hudson to alert them that the refrigerator was blocking the door, I was told that they "just deliver and set up." When we told them that the doors were not reversed as we had asked, they told us that they could not be reversed; despite their telling us originally that they could. Despite this being clearly their fault, when we asked them to take it back, Hudson said that we would be responsible for a 30% restocking fee. We had considered going to Small Claims Court to resolve this, and we are confident that we would have won; however, we decided that it was not worth our time to save $250. They eventually took back the refrigerator and charged the 30% restocking fee. Having spent 30 years in senior management for large and small retail companies, I can say with conviction that this was extremely poor customer service and one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a consumer. I do not like leaving negative reviews, particularly for small box stores, but given their indifference to us, I feel compelled to call out Hudson Appliance for this terrible experience.
