In the days that followed I also experienced an outage of my Navien tankless hot water system. I contacted them in the morning, they were at my home in the early afternoon to evaluate the problem. They worked with the technician from the company to get my problem resolved. The Navien company overnighted a part to them which was helpful since the system went down again the following night. Once again, they responded to my home within a very short time. Again, my system is working and I can't make enough positive comments about this local small business and their work ethic and commitment to excellence. Very lucky to have them in our community.

Not only did their professionalism impress us, but their kindness, courtesy and friendliness was outstanding! Took the time to explain the mechanics of the system and told us what to look for in the future. We would definitely recommend them to everyone and, if the need arises, we will be calling them back! I have been using Pinney Plumbing since moving back to Keene a little under two years ago. The…read morehouse that I bought had quite a few pretty serious plumbing issues as well as an older boiler and hot water heater, so I've had to have them out quite a few times in that short span. They have consistently been extremely police, prompt, and courteous. They do good work and the pricing is fair -- let's face it, there are NOT a lot of skilled plumbers in the area, so they could very easily price-gouge, but do not do so. Most recently, they came in to save the day when my boiler malfunctioned going into the weekend. The day before, it had stopped heating the house, but the secretary was able to walk me through restarting it over the phone which temporarily fixed the issue. She recommended having it serviced as I had not done so yet since buying the house -- the regular service was booked out for weeks, so I scheduled the appointment for that time. The next day, which happened to be Friday, of course, the house was cold again. They got someone out IMMEDIATELY to look at the problem. The technicians found two issues which solved the problem temporarily, but several hours later, the unit still wasn't working properly. By then, it was after-hours. The owner called me personally and was SO kind and sympathetic, and sent someone out right away. He was also very honest, in my opinion, because I asked him if I thought that I needed a new boiler and he said no; his guys would have told him if it was on its last legs; it just needs more regular service. He could very easily have said yes and gotten a multi-thousand-dollar boiler install job, so I found that very note-worthy. We were able to diagnose the problem this time and we've had reliable heat since.

The women on the phone was very pleasant, got me the appointment I needed and found out exactly what we needed. The 2 men that came to our home came on time. I prefer to go to smaller stores than the big box superstores when I can to support local smaller business and to get things more quickly- this size has plenty to offer but it's faster than walking through a mega store to get a few screws or a new tool. 2) selection: hands down, this store has far more in stock than all other Aces and local smaller stores when it comes to power tools/ power tool option models from Dewalt, Makita, craftsman, black and decker and Bosch- among others. Decent selection of most things you could ever need for your projects and household stuff. Any time I've ordered online the order is there and ready. Recommended.
