I don't understand what would make it sweet !?!? we asked for it to be hot ( cajun , lemon pepper, butter /garlic) and when we are washing our hands some type of pink dye was coming off of our hands the crushed ice was probably the best thing there the lemons were fresh other than that I have no good words to say about the actual food we spent over $200 and we left feeling so disappointed& disgusted.

It was a delicious meal, all the proteins were well cooked and it was seasoned perfectly. I ordered it medium and it had just the right amount of heat, I might be able to go up one more heat level if I was feeling adventurous but their medium was just right. The Thai Tea was fantastic as well, you can't really go wrong with Thai Tea. I finished the meal with one of their mango ice cream macaroons and I really enjoyed that as well. The shell was nice and crispy and complimented the sweet mango ice cream perfectly . It was a really great first experience and has me excited to head back one day to try out some of their seafood.

Pricing gave it a 3 star rating…read more I recently visited Captain Crawfish, and overall it was a great experience. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Kailey, who truly went above and beyond to make our visit even better. She has an amazing personality and excellent customer service skills, which really stood out. The food was delicious--super flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant itself was clean, with nice lighting that made the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. The only downside, in my opinion, was the pricing on a couple of items. Fountain drinks were $6.50 each and only came with one refill, which felt a bit excessive. Also, a small bowl of white rice was $7, which seemed overpriced for the portion size. That said, if you're a big seafood lover, I definitely recommend this place. The quality and taste of the food make it worth a visit!

It's pretty small inside so it won't be great for large groups but the employees are friendly. The guy that gave me my order informed me that this place is originally from Louisiana and this store is the only one in California! I ordered the 4 piece fish combo and chose the fried okra and red beans and rice for my sides. I also added the fried green tomatoes to my order. I'm not a fan of catfish but this was good. The seasoning on their food is SEASONING, okay?!!!! The fried green tomatoes are delicious without any sauce but when you dip it in their homemade tartar sauce and hot sauce it's amazing! I'm not sure what kind of roll it is that comes with their meals but Hot Damn it's bomb! It's like a soft pillow, almost like a beignet but not as airy. I didn't eat my food for about 40 minutes or so and the roll was still so soft! I will definitely hit this place up again and give the fried chicken and fried shrimp a try! If you've been looking for a place with fried fish, look no more! It's called Chick O Fish and it's in Bakersfield via Louisiana!

The walls are a little sparse, but I'm certain they will dress the place up nicely. The owner was very nice and you could tell he had a passion for this business. I look forward to seeing them very successful.

First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to.
