Our family booked the banquet room for a baby shower here . This place checked all the boxes , amazing customer service, delicious food , and beautiful decor . The banquet room is big and can accommodate large groups, it has a large window area to order cocktails which worked out perfectly !! Our host/server Alanzo was fantastic, he was there checking on us constantly . We have so many events coming up and there is no other place that compares I was blown away. Rehearsal dinner & bridal shower we're coming back and booking it here . The bartender made delicious drinks too , the Mexican candy was so good !

The service at this place is impeccable! I love the decor with the succulent walls everywhere. This time I tried the Mexican pizza with the grilled chicken instead of ground beef and it was a great pick. The hubby got the Camarones Diablo and loved it. My oldest went with the asada tacos del carbon and my youngest got the dry bean and cheese burrito and everyone left satisfied! Im really beginning to love this place. If the service stays great, I will continue to come back.

Plenty of parking , greeted with a big smile and welcome in when I walked through the door. I like trying new places and for me to return to a restaurant really says something about their food . The bar was packed being a Friday night . Plenty of laughs and music coming from the bar area, there were people eating in the bar area , With in 3 minutes chips and salsa arrived and I ordered an ice tea. The Mexican music was at just the right volume to set the mood, you feel like getting up and dancing. I ordered the chicken taco and chicken enchilada with rice and beans, also a side of flour tortillas, they are home made here!! The paintings and decor are interesting enough that the 10 minutes it took to get my food wizzed right by. The folks next to me ordered the fajitas and the sizzle and fresh smell made my stomach rumble. When my plate came it was piping hot and looked great, the chicken was tender and the sauce was not too spicy. The enchilada sauce was a tomato based sauce that was good . The refried beans tasted home made and the rice was really good , let's not forget the home made tortillas, yum!!! If your on this side of town it's a good option, recommend

What a pleasant surprise. We were craving a Sunday morning Mexican food buffet, so we decided to try Senor Pepe since they are open earlier than other restaurants. First off, despite there being lots of cars when we arrived (a good sign) there is still plenty of parking. We were greeted by a friendly hostess when we entered the restaurant. It only took a few minutes to be seated. Since we wanted the buffet, we made our way over there. Good Lord! They have so many delicious options. It was impossible to try everything. From freshly made omelets to order, to enchiladas, carnitas, chile colorado, chile verde, and so much more! Did I mention desserts and homemade flour or corn tortillas too!! And all for $19 per person. We were so impressed with this place. The food, service and ambiance were all on point. Next time we'll add a margarita or two. Really delicious food.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, a little bit past lunch time, and there were still a decent amount of people. Service was fast and we were immediately seated. Had my go-to, shrimp tacos, and it was tasty. There was also a good amount of rice and beans on my plate. We were always checked on, asking how the food was and offering refills for our water. As we went out, we saw some function rooms available which we thought was cool and would probably fit more than 30 people at a time.

All the food was bomb! My enchiladas, rice, and beans were soooo good. The salsa was exactly how I liked it. Their chips were also very crispy and delicious. Their michelada was pretty good, but their strawberry margarita was too strong for my liking, I couldn't finish it. Tables felt kinda small, and with all our food, it felt kind of squished. Staff was friendly but not as attentive as I would like. No doubt, when I'm craving enchiladas, yes, I will be returning!

We went to Señor Pepe's on a Saturday night. They were not busy at all. The wait staff was very kind and attentive to us. Although there are very few explicitly vegetarian options on the menu, we asked what they could make for us. Our server was very kind and explained what they could make veggie! We ended up ordering a quasadilla, enchiladas, plantains, and the veggie fajitas. The quesadilla was simple but good, and the fajitas came out sizzling hot! We definitely thought the veggies were a little under-seasoned in both, though. The rice and beans were delicious. The enchiladas were good too, but the sauce definitely tasted like a standard jar sauce you would buy at the grocery store. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. Loved the red booths. Overall we had a pretty good experience here, but Bakersfield definitely has better options for Mexican food

We came after work for Happy Hour. Easy and plenty of parking. Would enjoy seeing more options on the Happy Hour selections including appetizers and drinks. I ordered the 5.00 wings and a shredded beef quesadilla. A larger portion for the quesadilla would be good or a smaller price. Overall we had a good experience.

    Kevin was horrible.

She comes from LA so we meet halfway. She is so nice and so friendly. She really won my heart! This is the second time we meet in Bakersfield. I had this place saved for a while now so I was excited for the visit there. We got there and they sat us almost right away. They have a cute lobby before the entrance to the restaurant. There is an old telephone booth and Christmas decorations. Johnny brought us the menu and it was the lunch menu. I saw on line that they had some great food for breakfast and Te-see asked him about it. He told us they were still making breakfast so I got happy. I ordered a coffee with cream and he brought it in a little tray with the creamer on the side. The table was a little wobbly and the coffee spilled all over the tray. Luckily Te-see got that fixed with a sugar packet. Jonny brought me another tray with coffee and cream. Almost everything was plant base, some egg and chicken but definitely no red meat. Unless I didn't see it. So I ordered the chilaquiles rojos and my daughter the Happy-go-Lucky-bowl. Te-see got the torta española and slew got a pancake to shared. All the food came very fancy well presented. Almost like magazine perfect. I loved them. We were taking videos and pictures as we should like a truly Yelpers that we are. Haha! The food was so tasty and flavorful. I loved my chilaquiles. They were perfect for my palate. They were crunchy and still with the flavor of the sauce. So delicious. They came with a little bowl of beans from the olla. (Freshly cooked) Te-see mention that her torta española was great as well. It came with some green salad. And it did really look so good. My daughter got the Happy-go-lucky-bowl. I was surprised she liked it. It was so beautiful presented. Sorry I already mention that. But yes it was pretty. There was berries melon, pineapple. She said it was really good and filling. She couldn't finish it. The pancake we order to share was so healthy made with all the good grains like chia, hemp seed, brown rice, oat flour. So good. It had some bananas and berries on top. Really delicious. I want to go back again just writing about it. I may go back and order different things from the menu. The bathrooms are very clean. Also maybe restaurant is part of the hotel

It's not a shock that this is one of the TOP places to eat on Yelp's Central Valley - South list. You'll immediately notice Scrambled's Yelp award at the check-in table. Here's why they have an award: Upon arrival, you'll notice Bakersfield locals come here. We waited about 20 mins as it was quite full inside and we arrived during a Saturday morning (on Valentine's Day). All sorts of guests visit, families, couples, seniors etc. I overheard the regulars say there's excellent mimosas here, I didn't try them but they looked good. Each patron had something positive to say and had a fun little story about their visit to Scrambled. As for my meal, my Mom and I both got cafe de olla which is essentially a Mexican blend of coffee with a hint of cinnamon. Fantastic! Next, I knew this place was known for its Mexican breakfast AND scrambles, so I decided to try the best of both worlds. I ordered a chile verde scramble. The flavor was really good, everything felt homemade. The meat could've been slightly more juicy, but everything worked so well I didn't mind it. The ambiance was moderately noisy, yet relaxed. I got an authentic cafe vibe here as my Mom and I were able to hold a conversation without having to raise our voices. My Mom said she got an authentic Mexican cafe vibe, I can see it! Everyone was super sweet and professional, I felt right at home.
