This is our 2nd event at the Randall House. The venue ia so pretty, don't need to do very much decorating as the venue itself offers different areas for photos, a fountain, brick patio , a dance floor, so much more. Plus Scott and April are so easy to work with, we literally had to reschedule 3 times due to Covid! They and their staff go out of the way with even the tiniest details to make your event special. Dont hesitate in checking out this venue!

Came to a wedding and reception here. It was beautiful. From the outside it looks very simple, but once you go inside and see all that it has to offer, it's very impressive. It had so many "picture spots", it has a full kitchen, and a getting ready room for bride and groom which is nice and air conditioned really well. The lady in charge/caretaker was really amazing and helpful to not only the bride but to guests as well. She repeatedly asked if anyone needed anything. And I LOVED that there was no smoking allowed on the premise. Which wasn't a big deal to smokers, they just stepped out a few feet to the parking lot. Attending the Welch wedding was amazing. Thank you to the staff here and to the owners for putting such great thought into small and big details.

Last night my son got married in the Randall House . The place is so perfect for an intimate garden wedding. Will accommodate up to 120 person we were 75. So many photos areas for the perfect pictures ! The staff is AMAZING!!! Debby will do everything to make your experience wonderful!!! I recommend Randall House 150 Percent! We ended up using the Randall House as a last minute venue change for a wedding and it was a blessing to our family. The staff was amazing. The owners very professional. The venue is absolutely beautiful both day and night. The compliments we received were excellent with several people telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! What more could anyone ask for than that? Thanks to Scott, April and Debbie and everyone that made our event possible. A wonderful place for a beautiful wedding. We booked our wedding back in 2016, and throughout my 2 year long engagement both Randall and Scott have never been more helpful and easy going. The transition from Randall to Scott was very smooth. Debbie our event coordinator amazing!! She really knows how to coordinate an event. Love her!! I highly recommend The Randall House for all events under 120 guests. It is a cute, enchanted place with so much character for an affordable price and great service. read more

I spent a good amount of time over a weekend in May at the Randall House since our good friends were getting married there and my husband was in the wedding. If you are looking for a one-stop shop for your wedding this seems like a good place to go. The staff helps coordinate everything at the rehearsal and the day of. As far as I could tell they own the venue, help plan your wedding day, coordinate the day of, and photograph everything too. If they added transportation to their repertoire, they would be above five stars, and the only reason I complain about that is because I had to coordinate several last minute Ubers to get the Groom to the wedding, and to get the Bride and Groom back to the hotel. I had a great time as a guest at the wedding, and the Bride and Groom were very happy! read more

Honestly the best venue I came across in Bakersfield!! Everything randall told me was straight forward. He's so laid back and easy to talk to. And his staff the day of the wedding were ON IT!! I helped decorate but they tried their best to not allow me to lift a finger. Unfortunately I'm stubborn so I wanted to help anyways. If you gave his staff your idea they made it come to life even better. The schedule ran smoothly. When I was walking around talking to my guests the coordinator made sure to find me and ask if she could get me a plate so I can have a little to eat. I felt so well taken care of and it didn't even stop there. When it came down to cleaning they helped take everything down. They packed up my cake and leftovers for me. They cleaned the dishes we had brought. I mean they were so amazing and my wedding day was perfect (even though it rained). But rain is good luck so I guess I got lucky finding this place :) thank you guys for everything!! I seriously felt like Cinderella Also I'd like to note how incredible the picture opportunities are here. The scenery is beautiful and so vivid. PERSON HUNG UP ON ME AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! Spoke with April on the phone regarding having my ceremony only at the Randall House, as I have already booked my reception venue. When I mentioned my wedding was in August, she was extremely rude about the fact that my fiance and I are seeking an outdoor ceremony venue, without giving me the chance to mention that we are having it in the morning when it's cool (not that that should really have mattered). She told me it would be the same price as if we were having the entire wedding at the venue, and that "it's an all outdoor venue so if it's hot outside there's nothing we can do to help you with that." She reiterated that the prices would not change, I told her I understood and that I had their website in front me and I understood what the price would be. Then, "Okaaay, great. thanks." *click*. I recently had my wedding here and all I can say is AMAZING. I was definitely surprised. The owner may be quite stubborn, but overall he knows what will work best for the venue. The staff did an amazing job at setting up the venue. Not only was the location beautiful but the photo opportunities were everywhere. If you are having a wedding with 120 people or less you have to stop by and see just how amazing this place looks. Even without having anything setup for a walk through you can see just how perfect this place could be. When everything is set, there is a magic in the air and my wife and I were awe struck. I attended a wedding at this wonderful new venue this last weekend, and was amazed at how beautiful the setting was. The owners are photographers as well, and have done an excellent job in desigining the venue for various photo ops. The staff were very helpfull and seemed to be two moves ahead of all our needs. I attended a wedding Friday, October 6, 2017 where I witnessed the Randall House Manager, Debbie, speaking very disrespectfully at the bride's mother to the point that she was very upset which made everyone at our table very uncomfortable. I was appalled and embarrassed by this woman's behavior. Her conduct was very unprofessional and made the evening a nightmare for the bride's mother. In turn, the bride was also visibly upset to have this happen on her special day. The wedding was beautiful but I will never recommend or attend another event at the Randall House. read more

History

Established in 2012.

Randall moved his Photography site to this location in 2005. With the beautiful backdrop of the lush greenery and amazing photographic sets we decided it would work as a wedding venue with just a few tweaks. Our bistro lighting really sets the mood for the night.

Meet the Manager: Randall B.

Randall Barker, a Bakersfield Native, has been married for 30 years to Debbie; they have two children Austin 26, and Miranda 24 Married to Eric Gutierrez 29 who gave them a granddaughter in 2016...Reagan Rose. Randall is an award winning photographer winning numerous times within his South Valley Professional Photographers group. In 2005 Randall was "Commercial Photographer of the Year" for the western states. He also won the Fuji Masterpiece and Kodak Photographic Excellence awards. His unique style and outgoing personality create a fun environment for a great Photographic Experience. Randall has been a photographer for 22 years and he is always learning new techniques to better his craft through seminars and workshops.

Dear Randall House Staff: This past week-end we had our daughter's wedding at the Randall House and was thankful for your venue and staff. I am a event coordinator and I have never rented a venue with help before. They have wedding coordinator on site but they do not help with set up as much as Debbie did for us that day. Being my daughter's coordinator I prepared all arrangements for the venue as well as being her decorator. I work with my own staff which we have worked together for years. I had all the alter ready and table arrangements made before arriving and Debbie pitch right in to get those on the tables and help me through out the day getting things prepared. A BIG THANKS TO DEBBIE. This was also the 1st time being the mother of the BRIDE, so I wanted everything prefect. Everything went as planned and the day went beautifully. Debbie, thanks for helping us in preparing for the wedding and tearing everything down. You also have a amazing staff that comes in to help you. I want to thank her night crew for all their help too. Thanks Scott and April for working with us on the venue and coming back to help us on Sunday. You have a wonderful team. I was married at The Randall House the 27th of October and it was beautiful! Our day of coordinator Debbie was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!! She left me with zero worries on my big day. She was even kind enough to make me and my husband a plate of food to make sure we made time to eat. Our big day was gorgeous and went without any problems! I would highly recommend this venue! The Randall house was very beautiful but RANDALL is very unprofessional and rude! He wants your wedding to go his WAY or NO WAY! It should never be like especially on your special day. All he says is that ITS HIS NAME THEY REMEMBER IN THE END! he is very cocky and i would defiantly NOT RECOMMEND his venue unless you want HIM to ruin it. thanks and have a wonderful day :) read more
