I was greeted rudely…read moreby Diana, she seemed upset about the amount of people who were brought in to see the venue (myself bride mother of bride and children). We asked basic questions about the venue and she seemed to not mind. Once the price of the venue was brought up I asked (being a KLEA member) about the KLEA member discount (knowing there is one). Diana responded very rudely, "what about it?" I ask what the discount was being a member. Diana stated she was only giving a discount to the bride or groom no one else. I asked Diana if she can tell me the discount regardless, she refused. We continued with the tour, at the end of the tour we asked about availability dates. Diana told us, I asked Diana if we can review the contract, she approved. I asked if she could get it, she then stated she didn't see a point but could get it if I'd like. I told her yes please. Diana changed her mind and said she was not going to show us unless we signed it. I explained I just wanted to review it before we signed anything she refused. My sister (bride to be) was too fed up to continue to speak with her and asked to leave. It was very apparent Diana did not like us when we entered the venue, the way she spoke to myself and my family was very rude. It also should not matter if the bride or groom is a member to get a discount. My gift for my sister's wedding is paying for the venue I am a KLEA member, my mother is a KLEA member, my brother in law is a KLEA member. Our family is Law Enforcement in Kern County. It is not only about the discount, the way Diana made my sister feel was very uncalled for. This was my sister's favorite venue however how can she enjoy her wedding when the person in charge of the venue was unpleasant for no reason? Venue is pretty customer service was awful. I would love a response from anyone at this venue.

As an adult I knew I wanted to have my wedding here. The lady who owns this place was very nice. She was accommodating and helpful. We were allowed to set everything up for the reception the day before because as luck would have nobody was renting it that day. The best thing about this place is that you can have both your ceremony and reception here. This really worked for us as we were on somewhat of a tight budget. There is a Roman style stage in the back which is lovely for a ceremony. The Hall itself can hold up to 215 people. We only had 120 and there was ample room. It is equipped with a kitchen and a bar. If you are getting married in Bakersfield I highly recommend checking this place out!

But they rent it out for parties etc. The owners are super nice, the bathrooms were spotless no weird smells lol. It's spacious but not a lot of parking or maybe just weird parking i didn't see what was on the other side of the building so possibly more there. Hard wood floors and neutral decor so that makes it easy to decorate whatever function you may be having there. It has a bar and i will say the drinks were good but the pours were watched like an eagle and were small. The wine list was small but decent i just had an issue with the prices for drinks and wine the portions were in my opinion too small. I also would've appreciated my wine to be served in wine glasses instead of a plastic small clear solo cup...The food was catered by Salty's and everything i tried was yummy except the salad. I do want to reiterate that the staff and owners who run the hall are gracious and always had smiles on their faces. If i or someone in my family were in need to rent something for an event i would definitely keep this place in mind and recommend them especially for budget minded people.

No reimbursements of any kind. As far as the recepcion, they provide the bartenders, that would not serve us any drinks, they were seen pouring water instead of liquor since like 10 PM. The guy was rude n problematic, if he hates bartending then find another job. The musicians that were family friends as well, were rejected drinks food and even water. These guys shouldnt be in control of how we drink the water bottles, idk if it is an ego thing but it is not his party. I also had a straw hat with a built in fan that was left outside by the pool, given we were staying there so i had nothing to worry about. The next day i see the owner of the venue wearing it like its hers. If they are choosing the bartenders, they need to pick some that can do their job. Instead of trying to control someones wedding. If i could, 0 stars
