Excellent sushi and related foods at this Japanese restaurant. Very nice service and a delicious assortment of options. Don't judge a book by its cover. Even though the frontage looks a bit run down, The offerings are as good as anything you could find in Washington DC. Excellent service too. We had an assortment of sushi, the cauliflower (v good), miso soups, edamame, and dumplings. Really hit the spot and would happily return. Decor is nothing to write home about but not necessarily ugly either.

This restaurant doesn't look too large from the outside but it has plentiful seating inside. We had a 5 minute wait before seating. The restaurant was quite full with diners. Our first visit tonight did not disappoint. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Having so many choices on their menu my dining companion and I over ordered for sure.we started with Hot green tea. For appys we had the tempura green beans which came with a wasabi ranch dipping sauce l. It was delicious! Also had the edamame tempura plate which included veggies , shrimp and a crab stick. This was also very tasty. For rolls I ordered the Philly(smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber), Shrimp Tempura roll, and the Kilauea roll(lump crabneat, tempura crunchies, cucumber, topped with fresh spicy tuna). This last roll was really delicious and I am happy I ordered. We finished with the banana tempura dessert which was very good . They open later in the day and are closed a few days a week. Definitely worth the wait!

Excellent food and service. Ambience is average. Right now the best Sushi I have had in the OC, Fenwick, Bethany, Dewy and Rehobeth area.

How do I order takeout online for tonight- July 6,2021?

Call and ask Miuku if they can accommodate your order this evening. I am sure they are fully booked with reservations so "to-go" might be unavailable. Chef Yama wouldn't want to compromise his food. call 302-829-8784

We also totally lucked out without having a reservation and got two seats at the bar. The hostess was super nice and gave us plenty of time before a reservation was due at 7pm. Shout out to the two, super-awesome bartenders who made our dinner even more enjoyable. For a small restaurant, it seemed like they made 1000 drinks while we had dinner! I wish my phone didn't die and I would have had more pictures. But I'll tell you that the food here is amazing and you can see they really put a lot of work and care into every single ingredient. My husband even noticed the micro cilantro in the carrot tahini hummus! The ingredients are all busting with flavors. I had the swordfish, which was brown butter basted and very tasty and prepared with caramelized baby turnips & fennel- so good! My husband even noticed enjoyed his caesar and steak salad and we both ate every last drop. While we were kinda in the heat of everything.. busy bar and right next to the kitchen, the energy in the restaurant was amazing and you could tell the whole restaurant was working hard for the busy holiday crowd. I'm grateful we got those two seats at the bar. 14 Global is a wonderful restaurant with a scrumptious and ecletic coastal cuisine. Next time I will definitely make a reservation!

The crab dip was full of lump crab and paired well with the cracker. Wish there was more octopus in the other starter but had good antipasto like flavors. I got the double cut pork chop as my main and enjoyed. It was cooked well and I liked the balsamic on the plate, however I do wish it had some sauce to pair with. The potatoes were great and a crowd pleaser. Drinks were solid. The pear martini was fresh and sweet. Shirley temple was standard but could've been fizzier in my opinion. We split 4 desserts amongst us: key lime pie, honey cake, flourless chocolate cake, and a peach crumb cake. The honey cake is unique and had a great moist yet spongy texture. The pie was a runner up, we liked the tartness and thick crust. We do wish our server paid more attention to us especially in the beginning. We weren't offered any bread and felt like the wait for food was very long. Other tables who arrived after us had already got their entrees and desserts while we were still waiting for mains. He also didn't check up on us like he did with the surrounding tables. The young bus boy however was great and kindly helped us in between.

It was a pretty good atmosphere and there was live music outside at 6pm or so. We were inside and could still hear it some. The food is all over the place and more sports bar than Mexican restaurant. I ordered fajitas triple (steak, chicken, and shrimp. The platter was on a sizzling dish. The portion of meat was acceptable but as the old lady from the old Wendy's commercial said "Where's the Veggies". Im not sure if they were running low or what but honestly it was hard to find the onion or peppers. And astonishing but no rice and beans. So for the $25 or so price it was too small for all the wrong reasons. The wife wanted chicken casadilla. But it had buffalo sauce. We had a nice waiter from Romania but not sure why he didn't recommend no sauce but she wound up with shrimp & crab. Honestly I tried them and it was just weird. They were topped by some kind of yum yum type sauce.

We had a very nice experience: it's adorable inside, with a very inviting interior and strings of lights all around. We ordered margaritas and were told it was happy hour pricing, so they were $7 instead of $9. Tasty! The server brought complimentary chips and salsa - you could tell everything was fresh/homemade. For a Mexican restaurant, there are a surprising number of non-Mexican items on the menu. We both had items labeled "new" on the menu: tuna nachos and a Cajun grilled chicken sandwich served with homemade potato chips. Everything was delicious! The nachos were made with fried wontons versus corn chips - a clever decision. I forget all the toppings on my chicken sandwich, but it was all delicious. Service was quick and efficient too - we'll definitely return!
