Angela is absolutely the sweetest and treats her customers as if they were family members. Definitely recommend the hot chocolate, it's super rich and filling. I love the Jeffery, Sophie, and S'mores bark as well !

Chocolate is good but WAY overpriced. I would give them a second shot but I know now not to eat with my eyes rather eat with my wallet! Lol

Absolutely top notch chocolates, made with love and skill by Angela. Not cheap, but prices are more than fair.

Truth be told, if you live nearby or just happened to be in the area like I was, Bread & C. should be at the top of your list to visit. Not because the owner will gladly give you something on the house because you only carry your card and don't have enough cash on you to pay for your entire order. But because that's how she is. And, it happened to me. You can tell right of the bat, Laurie has a passion for offering pastries and pleasing their customers. Regardless, Bread & C. has probably gained a lot of attention for the Croissants, Macarons, Cookies, etc. I seriously think though it's because of her Parisian-inspired Hot Chocolate. You're in for a treat. If you know me on Yelp, then you know I haven't had coffee in like umpteen years and when I go for Hot Chocolate or Hot Cocoa, it better be orgasmic. This was it. Top-quality chocolate is used because after all, this is Larchmont. The end result was the perfect balance of rich flavors and silky texture. It's a treat that was both comforting and luxurious. It almost transported me right to a cozy Parisian café on a crisp winter's day. It's a small place but it's mighty and so worth the trip!

With a friendly atmosphere, the owner will probably recognize your face over time and and greet you name. The excellence of Bread & Cocoa's pastries makes it easy to understand why the locals keep coming back. I stopped in because I was working in the neighborhood and I needed a pick-me-up for my ride back to Manhattan. The pumpkin chocolate chip cake with a small coffee hit the spot. It was an amazing start to the day and made me appreciate why this bakery is such a neighborhood treasure. Bread & Cocoa is truly a special bakery that's worth checking out!

She made lots of recommendations and offered to let our family try some samples before deciding what we wanted. Prices are very reasonable. I was very surprised by how much we got and for the quality, it is a good value. Aside from assorted chocolates and truffles, they also carry other sweets, interesting sodas, and gelato. I stopped by after all of the holiday bustle, so I missed some or their seasonal treats, but I can't wait to go back to see what they will have out for Valentine's Day. Neighborhood gem and metered street parking is easy to find.

It is now St Patrick's day and I still have not received my purchase. I was charged for my order on Feb 10. It is listed as "pending fulfillment" on the website. I have called the business numerous times but the phone ordinarily rings 3 times and then goes dead. I did reach someone once who said he checked with the manager and I would receive my order within the week. That was 3 or 4 weeks ago. I have also sent several emails which have been ignored. If you go to the "terms and conditions" on the Lovingly Chocolate website it is a bunch of nonsense text written in Latin. At this point, I'm not even sure that this business is real. I would warn potential customers to not do attempt to do business with them as it is very possibly a scam or, at best, is a company with absolutely no need for customer satisfaction and no customer service.

Since I was off from work this week but not traveling, I wanted to take advantage of my time by hitting up some local spots I had sitting in my bookmarks. Hence, I made Seth's a priority on my list. Located on one of the main commercial strips in Larchmont village, Seth's is not a large space but the white color scheme cast against the neatly packaged baked goods make the bakery seem nice and open. When I arrived they had most of their offerings on display: brownies, two loaf varieties (the aforementioned crumb cake and sticky bun), as well as some cookies. I picked up a few items, notably three of their brownie varieties and the sticky bun loaf. The brownies were great - he had four flavors, and since I could get 3 for $18, I got the fudge, toasted almond, and "hot chocolate" which had red pepper flakes. I really liked the consistency of the brownies - they were fudgey while also maintaining their consistency while eating. I thought the sticky bun loaf was great - think of it as thee buns baked together and topped with nuts and all that syrup goodness. I also tried the famous crumb cake which I was surprised to see was not like a traditional crumb. The cake portion was more like a cinnamon roll (in that it broke away) and the crumb top was not overly sweet. It was familiar yet unique - I thought it was a great alternative to the monotony of traditional crumb cake. Seth is super friendly and welcoming, and overall I had a great experience trying out his baked goods. I look forward to my next visit!
