    Paint work for pedicure.

My daughter and I went in on a whim to get pedi's and mani's. I should have checked the reviews before going. Probably some of the worst paint work I've ever had. My technician didn't paint my full nail bed. Another tech fixed it but it left the paint blotchy. Also, all these nail salons use that paraffin wax as part of their package and I truly believe it messes with the way the paint dries. I do want to note that the nail tech's were all super nice. They were very accommodating and made sure we felt comfortable.

4 years of amazing service ! Love going to Potomac nails to get either Dip mani or Tap Gel mani ! Go and visit Amy or Chi!

I asked her for a fill French tip, and I wanted them to be squared. I usually come in here for pedicures, and they do a great job, but I HATEDDDDD my nails I got today. They looked better coming into the salon than when it came out. I asked the technician to fix the shape as much as she could and it still looks hideous, and the French part ....they're not even! I asked her to fix some of it for me but as I was sitting there, almost 3 hours go by and I'm just getting my nails done. A fill!!!!! I just wanted to leave at that point. $50 down the drain. i'm getting them fixed tomorrow by nail tech I trust.

Jenny and Nancy did amazing on me and my mothers mani/pedi! The environment was peaceful and just very nice and clean overall. Again, thank you Jenny and Nancy for the amazing service!

I love this salon‍ Their manicures last me 3+ weeks and have never chipped! Removal is done correctly and leaves my natural nails healthy and strong. The salon it self is clean and beautiful, all of the staff are so sweet and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend!

    Treatment of cut toe

Went with my daughter and husband for a Father's Day treat giving him his first ever pediCure. I have been at least 10 times to the salon with no issues but yesterday during my pedicure, Lisa, who did a wonderful job on my nails last month cut part of my toe off during the pedicure. It hurts so badly and I'm hoping it doesn't get infected. We still tipped 20% but will never go back with so many salons in the area. Pity. It was nice and convenient but I would never be able to relax during a treatment again.

I really wanted to love this place. I loved the cleanliness, professionalism, and the calm and inviting atmosphere. I felt clean, safe, and taken care of. The space is beautiful, down to the tiny details of phone holders, bag hooks, and ring dishes. I went in for a gel manicure and was not pleased with my service or how it was handled. As I was finishing, I noticed a few imperfections, but thought it might be the lighting inside. As I left the building I noticed 4 nails to have marks on them. 2 had brushstroke marks, 2 other had tiny bumps. I walked in to share the mistakes. My technician walked me back and said she would take care of it. In the attempt to get rid of the tiny bumps in 2 nails, and fix the topcoat of the other, she messed up the other two with bumps. I'm assuming the bumps were caused by painting over little filing pieces. So in fixing the mistake, it caused more mistakes. I couldn't even keep track of how many times she would fix it, refile, repaint, I would show bumps, refile, repaint, point out mistakes. I left feeling like I overpaid for what I got. I am willing to go back and try another technician. But as I am looking at my nails, a week out, the gel is already chipping from near the cuticle. I have never had a gel manicure not last this long. I am pretty disappointed.

As the first person to have review on this place, I decided to give this place another shot after 5 months. I was greeted by a staff member and she smiled warmly at me. I saw all the staff members working on different clients at the long table towards the front of the store. I asked the lady who greeted me if they do facials for men as well as women. The lady who greeted me looked to her boss and she said yes. I asked if the full waxing benefits are available for men as well? Again the woman who greeted me looked towards her boss and her boss said with a sour look on her face said only back and hands..or was it arms...?? I look at the take out menu that wasn't here before. Looks like the massage I saw last time is now on the menu. The massage is for foot, neck or shoulders only...unless you ask...I did not. I give this place two more stars because of the smiling woman and the menu which make things easier to understand.

I yelled ouch twice when the woman was doing a pedicure and usually it never hurts. My toenail looks like they dug the tool half way down into my skin. It may be the start of a fungus but it has never happened to me before at any other salon.

Last minute pedicure and manicure. Great COVID safety guidelines. Besides my SNS French manicure not being as neat as I'd like everything was great.

This place is the worst. I can't even refer to it as a spa, it was like a warehouse/office…read morebuilding space. I purchased a coupon for Groupon and given the price thought I would give it a try. I love massages. The place is hard to find and the signage is bad. When I got there it smelled like paint and old carpet. There was no in the building at all. It was cold. There was no relaxation room, no robe, no ladies bathroom no water, no tea, no receptionist, nothing. An Asian lady opened the door and when I handed her my coupon/proof of payment she immediately asked for my "Barcode." I had no idea what she was talking about and told her I just had my proof of payment that I received along with my receipt with Jo Jo's massage on it. She went on to say that she needed the "Barcode" so that she could get her reimbursement. (Bad sign #1). After roughly 7-10 minutes it was clear she was not going to proceed with anything until she got her "Barcode," regardless of my proof of payment, so I sifted through my emails to see if I could find it. Luckily, I was able to find the original link in my email and got her the "barcode" she was looking for. After she scanned my bar code she looked at me and said, "you know this price does not include the tip, right?" (Bad sign #2) While this was happening I scanned the room and noticed the warehouse-like look and also thought it was odd that there was NO ONE ELSE anywhere in the building. She then led me to a room (again, no bathroom, or locker room or relaxation room) and she told me to undress. The only place to put your clothes was a wooden table that had a heater on it! (Bad sign #3) Also, the massage table had no sheets on it! It was covered with 2 towels that felt like rugs (Bad sign #4). It was extremely uncomfortable. When she began the massage she kept leaving the room and it sounded like she was running hot water on the stones and had to leave because the sink was down the hall! I was extremely uncomfortable. Also, in the middle of the "massage" the doorbell rang. She stopped to answer the door! I suspect I had been there 20 mins at that point and could not bear to sit through the entire 70-minute service plus foot massage on top of that. When she returned to the room, I politely told her that I did not want to continue with the massage and asked her to just stop so I could get dressed. She asked me why and if I had ever had a massage before. I told her yes and how uncomfortable everything was. I got dressed handed her a few bucks (which was generous considering) and bolted out of there as fast as I could. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." Stay away from this place and before ever purchasing spa services on line, always, always, always, research them first and if you can stop by to check the place out before purchasing. Good luck.

I have had many massages and I must say that this falls into the category of one of the worst I've…read moreever had. I had a groupon for a 1 hour massage and a salt or sugar foot scrub. The therapist started off by asking me if I wanted soft or medium touch. Well really I prefer a deep tissue. So she said, "I give you deep on your shoulders and back and medium on your legs." So I agreed. I laid face down for 50 minutes and finally I told her my face was hurting from lying face down for so long b/c all the other massages that I've had have me turn over after about 30 minutes. When I asked to turn over she said we only have about 10 minutes do you want to finish with the massage or do you want to do your feet. Now mind you it was suppose to be a salt or sugar scrub IT WAS NOT it was a foot rub with cocoa butter!! Needless to say I won't go back. Don't waste your time.......

Before stopping to get a bite to eat, I told my wife I would pay for the kind of massage she likes. This would be the chair massage that apparently everyone enjoys. It is Saturday and this place has a waiting list. We have one person a head of is, but she is waiting for Fiona. I am not sure who we will get, but time is on our side. The lady in orange with the black boots I like ended up being the person my wife went with. I thought about a massage myself, but not today. The sounds of the massage clocks keep going off and they are loud. Still, you are shown the time you asked for and your time isn't cheated. The woman known to me as Boots seems to be getting the job done. When it is all said and done, I hope to see a big smile on my wife's face. I watch the massage therapists doing their 10 to 30 minute routine. I wonder what is going on in their minds? Well I found out who the masseuse is for my wife. The woman named Boots turned out to be named Maria. I tipped Maria in cash which she seemed to like more than added to the receipt. Next time I am here, I have two people to choose from. Thanks for the help Maria.
