Best place I've been to for nails, bar none. Absolute perfection every time I wasp out!

The owner of the salon was unprofessional. "Handsome Dave" was completely inappropriate for a business setting. The other employees were rude/unfriendly. My nails cracked right away and my mom ended up getting a fungus under her nails. Absolutely disgusting. The response from the owner is B.S.. We talked privately about the matter, and he was extremely rude. He can try and swing it however he wants. I went to this salon and had a horrible treatment. read more

My nails turned awful. Lumpy looking. And when I went back to have them fixed. They blamed it on my mail bed.

First time here and our pedicures were awesome!! My sister in law found this due to searching on google this place has 5 stars! Not sure why on yelp this is only 3?! Very disappointing experience... I went in to get dip powder with tips on my nails. The lady who assigned to me was named Jackie. From the start she didn't want to do dip and tried to convince me to do acrylic gel (which I always do and wanted to try dip). I showed her a picture of the length and shape I wanted and immediately got attitude. She continued to tell me what she wanted to do, but I told her this is what I wanted. Then, the whole time she was rough with my nails and filed into my skin which started bleeding everywhere. Her response was "well your skin is too thin" instead of apologizing. Then she tries to spray scented hand sanitizer on my cut. After, all of that she was still lecturing me about my nails (like I came to relax not to be lectured the whole time). Towards the end she told me she couldn't do the shape I wanted (which was coffin very easy to do). So, I asked her to get someone else to finish because I was over it. She went completely silent and ignored me. I got up and went to the manager who was very nice and had Tina finish my nails which turned out okay. The manager and Tina were helpful and nice. Beware of Jackie because she is very rude, opinionated, and aggressive. read more

Happy customer! Pretty new to the area. Went in for a pedicure no appointment and was taken right away. Jordan did my pedicure and I must say it was probably the best foot massage I've ever received along with a great pedicure. So happy I've found my new nail place and person. I have been coming here for 2 years. There are some nail technicians that are pretty good and a few that are just mediocre but I always came because of the convenience since it's close to my house, I had a terrible experience the last time I was there and will never go back. I was getting a pedicure and the lady doing my nails was adjusting the water and somehow pulled the piece off that directs the water flow. The water came out directly at me and she was not able to stop it for some time. I was thoroughly soaked and I mean dripping wet from my face down to my shorts. I was so wet that when I took off my clothes when I got home my underwear was totally soaked. While the water was spraying me everyone in the place was staring at me and what was happening including the two owners, Dave and Anna. The lady doing my pedicure apologized and gave me towels to dry off but the owners never came over or said a word to me. The lady finished my pedicure and I went up front dripping wet to get my bill. To my surprise they charged me full price and didn't even offer a discount for my discomfort and humiliation. I don't blame the nail technician because it was an accident but the owners should have shown better customer service. read more

Coco Nail Spa never disappoints. This gem of a place was recommended to me by a friend who is pretty picky about her beauty regiment. They provide Drs Remedy as a healthy option for sensitive nails, as well as an array of other services for your nails. Ana and Dave are diligent about cleanliness and maintaining their clients and staff safe according to CDC guidelines. It's been three years since I've been going there after many frustrating experiences in surrounding nail places. I find the other reviews here hard to believe. I found this salon on the "neighbor next door" app where this salon had gotten rave reviews from multiple sources. I am about ready to head over for my third visit. They are very clean, very professional and I always come away feeling very pampered. They make a strong effort to speak English and engage with you and demonstrate authentic care and concern for my needs and preferences. Handsome Dave and his wife are wonderful. They have a great location in the Publix shopping center at Sarasota Parkway and 41. They are not well signed so look for them near the UPS store. Give them a try! read more
