Always tip generously + usually never come by myself. Me and my best friend were so excited that our girls who are five are old enough to join us for pedicures as it is a special mommy and daughter time. I called to make sure they would be happy to accommodate and they said yes. This was probably the third or fourth time we have come with our littles -- who mind you behave AND pay full price on top of our services just about monthly. Each time I call ahead and make an appointment with the owner herself as well as give a heads up we have the girls. This is the second time we got a bad attitude only from the owner for no apparent reason other than that we have our paying children with us. The first time I excused her behavior assuming it was because our appointment was close to closing (also a weird reason to be annoyed if you okay an appointment). we come back with our girls again today after the owner checked and confirmed our appointment for 4. They had 3 of us sitting getting services for truly 30 minutes while my 5 year old waited. She did this to her friend last time. During those 30 mins neither time did she acknowledge the fact that our 5 year olds were waiting. No apology for the wait, nothing. Same thing today! She then did my daughter's pedicure in a third amount of the time her friends took. She had my daughter waiting while she took her time cleaning etc while her friend started her manicure. She sat for 15 minutes waiting before the owner finally acknowledged my daughter waiting and told HER (a five your old instead of the paying adult) that her friends was almost done so her lady would do her nails next. They were NOT almost done and my daughter already spent a total of 45!!!! Minutes waiting through out this time with no communication. Mind you it wasn't busy but then someone came in and the owner immediately prioritized another customer? When I asked her if she could just do my daughter's manicure first because she was waiting for so long already she argued back that this woman made a appointment in the morning and I pointed out that we also made appointments. The entire time the owner was not only unapologetic but also saying "oh my God" and rolling her eyes when she begrudgingly Finished my daughter's nails in 5 mins (while her friend's was still not done and she started way earlier!!!) and when I paid and questioned the fact that I was getting charged full price for her crappy experience. So yes, she charged me full price for an experience that my child spent way more time waiting around for than getting the service. Her employees are lovely though. But there are way too many other places around to tolerate this behavior. I hope her old worker Bridget went to a better place -- let me know where Bridget is someone I even took time to recommend yessicas to a big mom Instagram putting a spot light on businesses that is kid friendly self care without but they've definitely proven that super wrong. Even in the heat and humidity of the summer there was so air on. I did inquire if it was working a few times and was told every time that it was most definitely working. So aside from the humidity, and flies the pricing has increased tremendously. My last visit was $131.00 for a gel mani and gel pedi. The color selection is limited- they have none of the new colors, nor can they do the new nail trends due to lack of materials (ie glazed donut nails, etc). This year they have had many clients start with lash extensions- however those doing it do not have esthetician licenses. The pedicures are rushed and terrible. The girls doing them talk more to each other than even acknowledge the customer! There is always a "party" going on in the break room. Cooking smelly foods, and loud laughing and discussing customers and their personal lives in Spanish. No one there subscribes to the belief that this is a service, and customers come to relax. A visit there is far from relaxing. If you are there close to the end of the day you get to be part of the max rush of the pedicure girls cleaning the whole place. So lost of cleaner being sprayed and vacuums, totally what I think of when I want to relax Sadly, this place used to be really good but has lost focus on providing a positive customer experience and keeping up with trends within their industry.

The staff were friendly and patient with me while I chose my colors. I got a regular pedicure which was $30 and a curved line on my big toes. They said starting cost of the design was $5, but I don't think they should have charged me so much for the line on my big toes. When I asked the nail technician to redo one of them, she wasn't too happy about it but did it anyways. I get my nails done twice a year so I want them to look nice. I also got the dip powder manicure and that was $50. The total before tip was $85. I was planning to use this $5 off coupon when I checked into Yelp but they said they have nothing to do with Yelp and they will not honor it. That was a let down. They should talk to Yelp and take that down so it's not misleading. I gave her a nice tip because she was patient with me. Overall, she did a pretty good job. Would I visit them again? I'm not sure. They were a little pricey. I may check other nail salons in the area before going back.

When I asked for a thick (and short) toenail to be filed down, someone else instructed her how to do it. Every time I have had this done, they thin it in a rounded way so nail polish can go on normally. I do it myself at home and it's not a big deal. Instead, she only thinned it in one flat back and forth motion over top so it is oddly shaped and turned out looking like this (I eventually asked her to stop since she was getting so close to the skin). I appreciate how hard and long she worked, but I much prefer the result I do myself at home for $40 + $10 tip. I guess like with anywhere, it depends on who you get assigned.
