CocoMiel must have the best name of any local eatery. I love this place. The atmosphere is super eclectic, the menu is longer than you'd think and the service is always nice. I have recently brought all my friends and family to this place, we sit outside and have some cocktails and tapas. By the way, their frozen mango and chamoy margaritas is all you need to love this place. As a regular patron, the only thing I have noticed here in the past was a manager that was way "too friendly" with the female servers if you know what I mean. We also witnessed him trying to get the servers to spend "more time" with some drunk male guests that seemed to be in town on a business trip dinner. The way those men were oogling the young ladies was truly disgusting. I couldn't even finish my meal. I even checked on the ladies after the men left but sadly they were so used to this treatment they didn't even notice. Honestly, after that experience, I stopped going. It's not until recently that I've tried it again and so far, I haven't seen that manager or any pervs again. I only add this here so that hopefully the business owners read and ensure all employees are treated with the respect they deserve. It would be a shame to let that type of nonsense ruin a great spot for all.

Stellar!! We came here for my birthday dinner the other night and it was lovely. Inside is really cute and modern, and our server was very friendly and helpful. The edamame was flavorful and doesn't need additional sauce. I loved that they have good vegetarian selections (not just variations of lettuce to appease people), but their menu includes several awesome options. I got the veggie sandwich with different cheese, and it was fantastic! The rye was delicious and I upgraded my side to asparagus, which were grilled and amazing. Excited to try the tiramisu next time!!

We went into the small restaurant to eat, but it is generally crowded. I found that they have an extension Coco Miel bar in the opposite sites of the convenience store. It is more of a bar atmosphere with music and a full bar. The good baby is the same and there is so much room there! It happened to e Halloween weekend, so the waitresses and bartenders were in costume which made things fun and festive. The food was really good! We had the pizza and chicken wings along with drinks. I'll definitely try their food again!

This place is known for it delicious, decadent hipster food. The atmosphere is both a bar mix with romance vibe: Like a French bar, intimate place. We ordered the Americana Michelada and Chilenian Michelada (each 32oz) and a few appetizers of edamame, bruschetta of half chicken/half salmon, and stuffed mushrooms. Omg. So tasty. If you're near by, Please try the mushrooms. You're welcome. Pedro, the waiter, recommended them and I have to pass along the kindness. I've come to this place before a few years back and it still serves amazing food and a variety of fun combinations of drinks. Apparently theres another side to coco.miel where they play live music almost every night of the week, but I didn't go to that side. Just the restaurant part. Enjoy!

The food was delicious. The Appetizer was so good that we looked up the recipe! We ordered small pizzas - and they were HUGE! Quite the value for the size. The place was very clean and the service was great. Only downside for me is that I don't drink and they were out of all Coke products. The have a fairly large rotating selection of beers. My husband really enjoyed is margarita. We will definitely drive the :0 minutes and come back!

The waitress just threw all the packets over the pizza.

It saddens me to write this. We usually love their food, never had a problem. Today though, I don't know if the waitress was having a crappy day or what, when we got home and opened the pizza the girl had just thrown all of the Parmesan and chili packets ON TOP of the pizza. They looked like they were part of the toppings. This girl was taking payments and touching money. When we called and my husband explained, she responded "I put them in there for you." My husband said "this is unsanitary." She said "oh.". He said he'd take the pizza back and asked for a refund and she said she couldn't refund him. That only the manager could and he wasn't there until 5pm. So he took the pizza back a 5pm and the manager still wasn't there so another guy came out. He proceeded to say "we were being too particular." And tried to blame it on my husband. He said "we will remake it for you this one time only. The many years we've been going there we have never returned food. I just hope this was a really crappy day for them. On a side note, the waitress that was there when we went back at around 5pm was really nice and tried to be helpful.

Wow!!!! DELICIOUS FOOD! The lasagna was amazing! The salad was fresh and the atmosphere is perfect. A must try if you are on this desire of town!!! Sorry the picture is bad it was piping hot and I devoured it before remembering to take a picture!

Great place for an intimate date. The decor is nice. It's not loud. But don't order the turkey sandwich. It is so bland. It's like my 13 year old was back there with a loaf of bread and a package of turkey. No flavor. Just bland. I almost fell asleep eating it. Zzzzzz. I'm falling asleep just writing this review about a sandwich. But like I always say, how cant they not have perfected something so simple. It's like a Mexican restaurant not serving the perfect bean burrito. Service was great. But because of the snow they closed an hour early. Cmon. If your customers brave the weather to give you business. Surely your staff can brave the weather to stay there and serve them. I guess they don't need the money. Sucks to be kicked out of a restaurant. Because of a few snowflakes. Can u imagine restaurants back east closing because of alittle snow???? So if you come here. Make sure it's not snowing. Or the wind blowing. Or raining. They will kick you out. And beware ordering the turkey club sandwich. You willl fall asleep in the middle of your meal

Live music was awesome. Food was DELICIOUS! The salads were so flavorful. From the outside, it's unassuming and you would question if food is served. But one step inside, it's there and amazing. Every table had food and drinks.

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I have a strong affection for brick oven pizza. In my prospects to find the best pizza in El Paso, I deferred to Coco.Miel. How to describe the decorum of this place: have you guys ever seen the movie "I Really Hate My Job"? Well anyway, the inside of this place reminds me of the restaurant in which that film takes place (minus the rats, of course). Small, quaint, but with a hipster Italian feel to it. That being said, I'm so glad I decided to try this place out for lunch rather than a date night dinner. Because I feel like the place would be far too underwhelming as a date night hot spot. But that's just my opinion. I came here to try out the pizza. I decided to play it safe with the pepperoni classic. And it was...pretty damn good. The portion size is just right, too. I got the smallest size which they consider "a personal size pizza". I only got about 3 slices in before I took the rest home. As far as taste goes, it was typical brick oven style pizza. Clearly in-house made with fresh ingredients, and well seasoned (not to mention well priced). One minor complaint I have is the way they season the tomato sauce. It's a tad spicier than I care for, honestly. Outside of that, I really have no problems with it. I could see myself returning here and maybe trying one of their pasta dishes or the wings. Coco.Miel may have a strange name with a quaint and borderline cramp interior. But it gets the job done when it comes to pizza or if you're looking to stop by for a quick lunch and a cocktail. Perhaps I'll do an updated review if I find a meal I enjoy even more than the pizza. For now, Coco.Miel is worthy of 3 Italian spicy meat-a-balls out of 5.

As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

Missing silverware, condiments not being present, and at times things going forgotten or unnoticed when requested. The appetizer (pictured) Philly Egg-rolls, were the best food option we received for brunch that afternoon. It was shareable between 3 adults and filling before the entrees arrived. I wouldn't order the Monte Cristo Sandwhich again, very large, dry and just didn't pair well with the potatoes and the jam offered (pictured). We did have to switch out drinks due to her taste and upkeep up the beverages. The sweet tea originally ordered did not taste well but received new drinks upon request: Mango and Strawberry lemonade. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, was busy with guests, and I was seated within just a few minutes of arriving. Unfortunately, the experience began to decline after I was seated. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. While waiting, I looked through the menu and was surprised to find it noticeably dirty, which wasn't the impression I expected from a restaurant of this caliber. When my server finally arrived, she was polite but didn't seem particularly welcoming or engaging. She appeared stressed, which made the service feel rushed rather than hospitable. I ordered a Diet Dr Pepper and my meal at the same time since I had already decided what I wanted. It then took another 10 or more minutes for my drink to arrive. Shortly afterward, someone delivered bread with honey butter, which was excellent. However, no bread plate, napkin, or silverware accompanied it, so I had to flag down another employee before I could enjoy it. After waiting another 20-plus minutes, my steak and fries finally arrived. I had ordered the steak medium rare, but it was burned on one side, barely seared on the other, and when I cut into it, it was blue rare--nearly raw. I asked my server to send it back, and she promptly took it to the kitchen. About 15 minutes later, a replacement steak arrived. Unfortunately, while the opposite side was now burned, the inside was cooked to medium well. I let my server know this was still unacceptable, and she asked if I would like another steak prepared. I agreed, requesting simply that it be cooked medium rare without being burned. To the restaurant's credit, the third steak was prioritized and delivered by who I believe was the manager. She asked me to cut into it to confirm it was cooked correctly. Although the replacement was noticeably smaller and thinner than the original, it was cooked to a proper medium rare, so I accepted it. By that point, however, my fries were completely cold. The manager apologized briefly but never returned to check on the meal or my overall experience. My server didn't return until I was nearly finished eating, at which point she asked if everything was okay. I simply requested the check. What should have been about a 30-minute dinner stretched to well over an hour, and after a long day of business travel, I was ready to return to my hotel. I wasn't expecting my meal to be completely comped, but after multiple mistakes and significant delays, a small gesture of goodwill--such as discounting the entrée or even comping the soda--would have gone a long way. Overall, this restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and I believe the food has the potential to be very good when prepared correctly. However, the service, management's follow-up, and overall attention to the guest experience fell well below what I would expect from a restaurant of this quality. I hope they can improve these areas because the restaurant certainly has the potential to provide an excellent dining experience.

Well village inn is the closest I can get to that 'round here. Their pie selection has you going "I want that one, and that one, and that one but warm with ice cream!" I settled on peach lattice with no ice cream, and coffee and a water. The pie was baked a tick too long, the crust had that slightly over baked texture and taste, like it was about to burn but got snatched out of the oven just in time but the bitterness in the taste still remained. The filling started to evaporate in that over-baking but enough juice still remained and the peaches were delicious. The coffee? Was kinda strong for my liking, I think another Diner that rhymes with Lenny's has much better coffee. Service was fine, I was greeted quickly and sat immediately and a young man Came to get my drink order almost immediately but honestly there were only about 3 cars in the parking lot this afternoon. The place was clean, all tables set with blue coffee mugs and menus and silverware. Lots of blue when Village Inn's main color is a soft mint green. I suppose this is because they are getting ready for the changeover we've been told was coming for like 5 years or so to change them all to Butter smith's and leave the Village Inn Franchise. Granted, it was a Monday, and afterwards when I found out it was more of a bar that happened to have 90s video games, well the hype died a little bit. It also made sense why they'd be closed for lunch on a Monday. As I understand it, they're trying to steer away from the 90s theme because it seems like folks on the younger end are the bigger demographic. I mean, big surprise the folks in 30s and 40s don't go out and would rather stay in and go to bed earlier. I guess retro isn't as popular anymore. I mean it's not bad. I guess when I came in here I thought it'd be more like an old school arcade that happened to have booze in it.
