I chose Mayra based on how gentle she is, & figuring it was my first time getting lashed since 2022, I wanted to make sure I was in good hands. I definitely was - Mayra was extremely gentle & knowledgeable. I went in for the new client special (natural wet set) & she helped to enhance the length to where it was still natural but noticable. Im so happy I finally booked & I'll be back for a fill within the 2 week window! The vibe here is chill & spa-like. No chit chat & silenced devices!!

Christina at Chateau Luxe is truly amazing! I am so happy I found her!…read moreI am spending the summer in Newport Beach and desperately needed a lash artist while away from home. I was instantly sold after reading the many wonderful reviews about Christina and her lash artistry. Christina was incredibly patient and helpful, taking a lot of time to answer all of my questions and explain the different lashing options she offers. I was incredibly impressed with how knowledgeable she is. She is even more bubbly and sweet in person than she is over text/email. The studio is gorgeous and Christina genuinely made me feel so comfortable from the moment I arrived. Most importantly, my lashes look beautiful! I could not be happier! I cannot wait to try her other services (facials) next! I was blown away by her work and her pricing as well. She does amazing lashes for an incredibly reasonable cost in my opinion. Especially in comparison to how outrageously expensive everything is in OC, primarily beauty-related services! I highly recommend Christina and Chateau Luxe to anyone looking for gorgeous lash extensions in SoCal, she is a doll!

I asked…read morefor a natural set with more length, less volume and got an amazing 3D wispy set that looks like a good mascara day. It was $100 with the first time discount and took less than 2 hours. I'm usually uncomfortable on those lash tables, but the calming music and waterfall sounds literally put me to sleep! I also appreciate the private room with a table to put your stuff on. Sometimes the way they put on the lash tape hurts, but the artist was very professional and definitely knew what she was doing. I've had allergic reactions in the past and ended up with red eyes for the first couple days, but I'm about 2 hours post lashes and my eyes feel great! On a super random note, I tend to break out easily, so I appreciated the tissue on my forehead so her hand wouldn't touch my sensitive skin. I don't know why this place doesn't have more good reviews! I definitely recommend :)

If you've ever had top-notch lash extensions, you will probably be very disappointed with these…read more With my previous lash artist, my extensions looked and felt so natural that I could brush through them just like real lashes. There was no noticeable buildup of glue, and each extension was carefully applied to an individual natural lash. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The extensions were applied with what felt like a very large amount of glue, creating noticeable clumps. Rather than delicately attaching each extension to an individual lash, they seemed to be laid on in heavier sections. The result was lashes that hung downward and looked limp, which I assume was partly due to the weight of the glue. Trying to brush through them was extremely unpleasant--it felt like brushing through a barbed-wire fence. Another issue was the placement. Very few lashes were applied toward the inner corners near the nose, leaving that area looking sparse and unfinished. Most of the extensions were concentrated toward the outer ends. My previous lash artist covered the entire lash line, creating a much fuller and more balanced look. The process itself was also concerning. Scotch tape was used to protect my lower lashes, which was honestly horrifying and not something I had experienced before. She had the strips taped to her arm to weaken the stickiness (I assume), then pulled each off and applied it to the lower lid, which is pretty gross considering it pulls skin cells off which are now taped to your EYE. Overall, if you're accustomed to high-quality, meticulous lash work, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for something cheap and average, though, she probably won't disappoint.

I went to Sumi Lashes and chose the wispy volume style because I wanted soft, fluttery, "I woke up…read morelike this" vibes... and now I accidentally look like I have my life together. The technician was so gentle I almost fell asleep, which is saying a lot because I don't even trust people near my eyeballs like that. The salon was clean, quiet, and relaxing--basically the opposite of my daily chaos. My lashes came out super lightweight but still full, like natural... if my natural self were just better. They've been holding up really well too, surviving naps, showers, and me aggressively rubbing my eyes at 2am (don't recommend, but still). Only downside? Now I have to book ahead because apparently everyone else also wants to look effortlessly put together.

She consistently gives me beautiful, balanced fills while still prioritizing the health of my natural lashes. I'm not the easiest client to work on because of my uneven eyelids, but she never disappoints. I've had bad experiences at other studios with poor retention, excessive glue, and damage to my natural lashes, so I really appreciate how honest, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented this team is. During Hailey's maternity leave, Diamond and Nhi both took great care of me. The entire team genuinely cares about quality work and the overall health of your lashes. I'll never go anywhere else.

It just feels like you are getting pampered right when you walk into a well managed facility, with beautiful decor and professional service. I made the appointment online through their website. They followed up via text message up until appointment day. The whole procedure was done so effortlessly, I dozed off lol. The best part is waking up to a set of beautiful lashes. I got the mega fill. Since my lashes were foreign, we worked with what we could. They still came out beautiful! I think once the old lashes fall out, they will look even better. My lash artist advised me to get a new set if they don't fall out by next session. And I will definitely be back next time. The man up front also explained after care and upcoming appointments with me. He not only gave me lash brushes, but a protector in case I need to take a shower before 24 hours. It's always the little details I appreciate. Most importantly, the lashes look like high quality. Hopefully the retention will be good, but so far, I am loving it here!
